Le Domaine d'Ablon

It’s absolutely fabulous. We had a great relaxing experience in an astonishing house. The French cuisine would deserve a Michelin star, with exceptional food quality and vegetables growing within the Domain lands ! We’ll come back as soon as possible. Thanks to the team for the great services, we felt like we were at home.

We loved our six-night stay at this tranquil hideaway a short drive to Honfleur. Stephane anticipated our every need and we felt exceptionally cared for. The service from all staff members was outstanding. The cooking class with Chef Jerome was great fun and delicious, the morning breakfasts in the green house and garden were a delight, and the proximity to Honfleur, Fecamp, Deauville, Etretat, Rouen, and the Normandie WWII sites was perfect. Would that we had a few more days to explore this magical place!

Christophe and his wife have built a truly magical place. A place where you feel at home while having the best service you can imagine. We spent a few days in Ablon and were amazed by the constant attention to details: the materials used, the flowers in the garden, the service... One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.

Friendly reception, incredible food and wine, beautiful place (especially the private dining room in the greenhouse!) and calming atmosphere. Only thing missing is a small upgrade on the basic room, a few features were a bit run down e.g. the plumbing but didn't affect our overall stay at all and I would still say it was a five star, very special experience.

The Domaine d’Ablon is such a magical place in the middle of beautiful Normandy’s countryside. The service is exceptional and the food is outstanding, serving local specialities cooked with fresh products of the Domaine. I really loved my stay there, recommend it to anyone who needs a break in their everyday routine.

Is hasn’t been here for 200 years? You’d never know! I’m not sure we have been treated to such intimate, warm and detailed service and excellence on any other trip. The grounds and property are stunning. The attention to sustainability, natural materials and gardening are inspiring. Stephane is a gentleman and exemplary host. We had a very ambitious itinerary for our time in Normandy and regret that we didn’t just relax more at DA. Well done. Merci!

It is a gem near Honfleur. A unique place in beautiful settings and great hospitality. Situated on the tranquil surroundings and only 5 minute drive to Honfleur. My son and I stayed 5 nights, we had a truly relaxing wonderful vacation - enjoyed delicious breakfast and organic juice with Christofle silverware, crystal drink wear and crisp linen napkin in the garden every morning. We also enjoyed ourselves very much with the in-house chef cooking class and bike ride. We loved every minute of our stay.

If I should summarize this wonderful place in one word; Magical! Even that would be too little credits for this marvelous place. It is definitely a hidden gem, as it should stay. We had the luxoury of having the entire premesis for ourselves.||The style of the accomodation; unique and high end. The chef’s cuisine demonstrates where France cuisine is world known for. Most of the dishes are prepared with vegetables, herbs and fruit directly from their home grown gardens.||Every detail has been thought of in this beautiful place. The makers of the movie: The secret garden probable came for inspiration here. This place make you feel in love again, which is priceless. ||Mr. Christophe Delaune and his team has set the bar at the highest level for their guests. ||Tip: If you like golf Go to Golf d’Etretat; practice your swing in top of the white cliffs.
