Le Dream Boutique Hotel

Located on close proximity to the airport and surrounding this hotel has been great for my couple of days of stay. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I met Jas and another lady on the reception who were super helpful and kept me informed since I wanted to see if there was early check-in available. The rooftop bar with spa was amazing. Faisal was very friendly and helpful. I had a chat with him about the places to visit and he pointed out some beautiful places around. The bar was also clean and the drinks were amazing .

Rooms are good. Rooftop bar is also good. Faisal handles the rooftop bar very well. Hotel in city centre so can explore City very well. Loved the jacuzzi on the rooftop, felt very relaxing. Just a small request to hotel please increase the size of bed. Thank you

Wonderful boutique hotel within 1-2 blocks of Prangin mall/Komtar bus station (note coach buses to KL load on the street - make sure you didn't pick the bus station far away south near the airport). Easy walk to old Georgetown, old town street art, Chew Jetty area, little India, etc. We stayed during the 2nd week of Chinese new year so easily walked over to the old Georgetown CNY celebrations (clan celebrations, etc) and had a wonderful time seeing cultural crafts for kids/adults, cultural foods, dragons, dancing, fireworks, etc. Hotel had air conditioning, elevator and a nice sky bar rooftop area for breakfast (need to order day before as they make it for you from the menu). They can can further improve the rooftop with more comfortable loungers to enjoy the view. Breakfast options included delicious curry chicken, fried chicken, english breakfast, pancakes, scrambled eggs as options. Rooms are a bit small but this is old Georgetown. Bathrooms updated but could use brighter light fixture over the mirror. Hotel is perfectly walkable 15-20 min from the ferry and a couple blocks from Komtar bus terminal or the street Jalan Rai. Easy walk to street art and night food market.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently. I’d read reviews that there were ants in people’s rooms. When we checked in there were some in the bathroom and near the kettle but we got rid of them and no new ones appeared. The aircon in the room could be more powerful. We had it set on 16C and it felt fine but not particularly cool. The location is good and the room was quiet. Overall would recommend!

Stayed here recently for 2 nights. The room is small however it was decent as we spent majority of the day outside. There are plenty of food choices within walking distance of the hotel and there is a night street food market just around the corner of the hotel. The walk to the bus terminal and mall is under 10mins. Special shout out to Leslie at reception as he is knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely stay here again next time.

We stayed for 3 nights. The location is pretty central and the room and the bathroom were really clean. Friendly service at the reception desk. They have also a small cosy Jacuzzi on the roof to relax. Overall great experience

The hotel services is so good, location is perfect because you can get by walking to many tourists places, and the breakfast that Faisal chef did was so delicious. Next time I will stay here again.

Located in a very convenient area for walking to different tourist attractions. The city itself is walkable. Friendly staff. Nice and beautiful room, good beds and mattresses.

Fantastic hotel conveniently located in the buffer zone in Penang. The staff here is amazing. They remembered us despite have 40+ rooms in the building, and even stored our luggage while we took a 3-day trip out of town. The hotel and rooms are very modern and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable with soft sheets. The bathroom had a modern egg-like toilet with plenty of amenities if you happened to forget something at home. The room was so pleasant that we kind of felt bad for lounging in our room instead of going out to explore Penang in the blistering heat. The location is convenient, and there is a mall across the street, a night market a block away, and one of the most popular restaurants (Tek Sen) only a few blocks away. I found that staying in the buffer zone, rather than the core zone, was better, because you got the benefits of plenty of restaurants and shops while only being less than 10 mins away from the old heritage buildings. The core zone, while closer to the heritage buildings, had less around in terms of entertainment or restaurants. We signed up for the city bike program (LINK) for less than 2RM a day and rode a bike around town. The thing that sets Le Dream apart from all other hotels (and why it's #1 on Tripadvisor) is all the freebies! They have a packed itinerary of events with free stuff all day long: - Breakfast from 7:30-10:30am. This is a full breakfast buffet with prepared hot foods, breads, cereals, fruits, salads, and even made-to-order items such as eggs, roti canai, roti forgot-the-name (roti that stands up in a cone-shape and is drizzled with condensed milk!), char koay teow, and a daily soup noodle. - Delicious ginger ale-type drink in the lobby all afternoon - Afternoon tea from 3:30-5pm with traditional Nyonya snacks, candies, and noodles - Complimentary cookies, ice cream, and snacks from 5pm-midnight. Movie every night with popcorn starting at 8:30pm. They play Hollywood movies that are somewhat recently released, like The Mummy (2017 version), Pitch Perfect 3, and Suicide Squad. - Free wine from 6-7pm There's also two jacuzzis and one small gym at the hotel. A great experience, and I'm really glad we stayed here to recharge during our trip.

This modern hotel has 3 floors and on a corner. You are immediately greeted by friendly staff from doorman/reception/house keeping. This hotel is very clean with nice room decors. Shower room seems spacious but for the ladies not much counter space so those that likes to lay out their toiletries/makeup will need to adjust. We are very impress with the cleanliness and courtesy of the staff. Rita the hotel manager is awesome and tend to guests every needs. Even gave us extra bottle of water because she sees our Father takes medicine and was traveling by bus elsewhere. She informed us of the events that were happening locally and things to see/eat walking distance. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel!!!
