Le Dû Wines

This is a fabulous boutique wine store and I recommend it to everyone I know! The team here is crazy knowledgeable about wines all over the world and have their pulse on the classics, rare bottles, and newcomers in the wine world. My husband and I go to their free wine tastings every Saturday to learn about different regions, and help develop our palette. They’re as helpful as you let them be. I go in and say something like “I want a well rounded white burgundy with tea notes” and somehow they’ll pull exactly what I’m looking for. Really lean into their expertise and they’ll direct you to better (and sometimes cheaper) bottles than you would’ve picked. Put down your Whispering Angel/Veuve/Caymus and find a much better bottle for the same price here.

It's a very nice store but what stopped me from going in was that it's dog friendly. I love dogs BUT I watched the staff pet at least 3 dogs that entered the store, and he didn't wash his hands afterwards. He was serving wine samples in cute wine glasses BUT he still didn't wash or sanitize his hands before serving the customers their samples. It was a complete turn off for me and I didn't shop there.

The best wine store in lower Manhattan, in my humble opinion. Great selection of wine, including hard to find varietals, all worth a try. The people who work at LeDu’s are passionate about, and expert at what they do and are superb teachers, who never steer you wrong. I love this place.

We absolutely love this place and everyone who works here. Honestly, the staff makes this spot awesome. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and always put in the time to help us find wines we will like. There is great variety for all palates and price points. They also have complimentary wine tasting every Saturday and other events as well.

We had private team wine tasting organized by Timothy and it was fantastic! He picked great wines, kept us in budget, put out an incredible spread and was very responsive with organizing. Definitely recommend!

Cute little wine shop in the west village. We got great service. He helped us find a natural orange wine from Spain, a liter for $20. It was pretty good. They have selections from around the world.

Great selection, but disappointed about the prices. I hadn't shopped here in some time and forgot why. I really would prefer to not have to ask for the price break you give frequent customers. I understand NYC is tough, and Covid is tough....I purchased a 2017 Volnay and 2015 Bordeaux, great, dropped them into CellarTracker at roughly +20% premium to market

Was there for their portfolio tasting that they advertise for weeks and was very excited for. The reps they brought seemed to not care whether you get an opportunity to taste their wines or not. I left after standing a lil too long with an empty glass and reps just waiting my patience and desire to taste their wine. There's so many free tastings in NYC, no reason to go to ones that make you feel like an unwelcomed begger.
