"Planned as a casual Italian restaurant in Fort Worth, Gemelle will open at 4400 White Settlement Road and—according to Tim Love—takes its name from the Italian word for “twin girls,” a tribute to his 16-year-old twin daughters. Though Love is best known for Southwestern cuisine, he has long been drawn to Italian cooking (he frequently made Italian dishes and fresh pasta at home, calling the process “therapeutic”), and fresh pasta will have a prominent place on Gemelle's menu alongside Detroit-style pizza.
