"Arnaud Jourdan (stints in the kitchens of La Chassagnette and Les Maisons Rabanel) has adroitly taken over the reins of this bistro, which continues to serve indulgent market cuisine that is both simple and generous. Shining examples include the carpaccio of calf's head with ravigote sauce, the skate wing à la grenobloise with glazed radishes and the delicious chocolate mousse with black olives and fleur de sel. A buzzy, laid-back vibe and, true to its name (slang for "wine"), you can expect a fine selection of natural and biodynamic wines at reasonable prices." - Michelin Inspector

Had a fantastic lunch here. Food, service and wine were all excellent. I’m vegetarian and they had a good cauliflower option. My partner had the pork dish and he loved it. I’ll be recommending to anyone visiting Arles.

Google
Absolutely gorgeous menu with wonderfully friendly staff. We found this place in the Michelin app and were not disappointed. The beans, house dip, and ricotta gnocchi were all incredibly well executed, delicious, and well presented. Would absolutely add this to the list. We did notice the Google hours were not entirely accurate so if it says this place is closed on Google it’s best to check as we nearly missed out.

Beautiful bistro ambience and wonderful food. The chocolate mousse with dry olives was surprising and delicious. You only need one for two people though

Le Gibolin in Arles is a culinary gem that takes imaginative and modern inspiration to new heights. Our dining experience commenced with a delightful starter duo—the courgette fritters and mackerel with beets—that beautifully showcased the chef's innovative approach. The courgette fritters, crispy and golden, were a tantalizing marriage of flavors especially with the spicy sauce that accompanied it, while the mackerel with beets surprised us with its harmonious blend of smoky fish and earthy sweetness. For our main courses, we indulged in the succulent pork rib, perfectly cooked and bursting with savory goodness literally falling off the bone in its succulent glory, as well as the tuna, which was expertly seared and accompanied by vibrant grilled vegetables that elevated the dish to extraordinary heights. To conclude our meal, the chocolate mousse captivated our palates with its velvety smoothness and rich decadence along with a sprinkle of salt that really brought out the flavours. Le Gibolin truly embraces imaginative and modern cuisine, weaving together flavors and textures in a way that delights and surprises.

This place is mad, but in a good way. The signature dish of chocolate mousse with salt and black olives is a microcosm of the whole experience— combinations that don’t seem like they should work but in fact are brilliant.

How this place doesn't have 5 stars I do not know. It was absolutely fantastic. Every dish was so innovative and the flavours were just perfect. The place is also cosy and nicely decorated. Great price for the quality, originality and quantity. Would recommend booking the day before though as we couldn't get a table the first time even though we went at 13:15. Enjoy!

Yelp
We stopped in here on a weeknight after not having great success tracking down an open restaurant. The staff greeted us and sat us immediately. They walked us through their chalkboard of offerings (written in French, as you'd expect) and got us a couple glasses of wine. I don't recall exactly what we had, but the food was pretty good! One dish that sticks out was pig faces and trotters pressed together in a crab cake sort of formats then fried. It was better than I expected. I also had the veal liver, which was excellent. It was a little cramped, so get there early. The dog is really cute, also.

Yelp
Exceptional authentic Provençal cuisine using the freshest local ingredients. Excellent wine from small local vintners. Charming owner with an adorable dog. If you want a real Provençal experience, this is the place to go in Arles.
