We stopped in here on a weeknight after not having great success tracking down an open restaurant. The staff greeted us and sat us immediately. They walked us through their chalkboard of offerings (written in French, as you'd expect) and got us a couple glasses of wine.
I don't recall exactly what we had, but the food was pretty good! One dish that sticks out was pig faces and trotters pressed together in a crab cake sort of formats then fried. It was better than I expected. I also had the veal liver, which was excellent.
It was a little cramped, so get there early. The dog is really cute, also.
