"Opened in 2010 by OG Seattle restaurateur Ted Furst (Cafe Campagne, Cucina! Cucina!), this bistro in tony Carillon Point deals in the French classics: steak frites, ratatouille, boeuf bourguignon, steamed clams in butter and white wine. The restaurant’s motto is “Incredible food and an even better view,” and it’s no lie, with a sweeping Western vista of Lake Washington — decorated by a few ship’s masts from Yarrow Bay Marina next door. Another bonus: Le Grand gets its seafood via Smart Catch, an org created for chefs by chefs that’s dedicated to sustainable fishing." - Meg van Huygen, Harry Cheadle, Gabe Guarente

This place is so charming, great for a date night or go out with friends. It is calm and not too loud. The food is amazing, we tried some of their dishes, and a dessert. Everything was so tasty and balanced. Their wine selection is great. The chicken... oh my oh my, amazing!! I have zero complaints. We will come back soon.

We went for restaurant week, and I might go back for another restaurant week special. Some of the food was excellent, some good, and my entree (halibut) was too salty for my taste (but I'm sensitive to salt). Service was good but slow. Overall, a bit too expensive even with the restaurant week pricing.

We were a group of 8 people to celebrate my birthday and we loved the atmosphere and the service. Our waiter was a nice and charming lady. All the staff were friendly. We will definitely come back here 😊

Le Grand Bistro Americain offers a relaxed, charming atmosphere with beautiful patio seating overlooking Lake Washington, making it an ideal spot for enjoying a leisurely meal with a scenic view. The restaurant serves a variety of French-inspired dishes, including classic charcuterie and a selection of entrées that showcase Gallic flair. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for casual dining or a laid-back brunch with friends. While the menu features a nice range of options, the brunch offerings fall a bit short in terms of flavor depth. Dishes like Cured Steelhead Benedicte, Moules Frites and deserts like White Chocolate Panna Cotta lack the bold, nuanced flavors that one might expect from a French bistro. The charcuterie platter is a highlight, with an assortment of meats and cheeses that pair wonderfully with the house-made breads. Despite the brunch menu not reaching its full potential, the service is attentive, and the overall experience is enjoyable, particularly with the lake views.

The scenery is fantastic, and the food was decent, but nothing to write home about. The service, on the other hand, was remarkably slow. We spent a good amount of time just waiting for someone to come to our table. We even ordered bread and butter that never showed up, yet it magically appeared on our bill. I only realized the oversight after we left. If you have a lot of time to spare and prioritize a good view over prompt service, this is the spot for you.

My wife planned a birthday celebration for me here. We arrived late afternoon, and the restaurant was quite busy. It was pleasant to enjoy the scenic views of the marina. The overall service was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, they spoiled the surprise of the celebration, despite my wife requesting them to keep it quiet. Their friendly congratulations from the door were nice, but not what we had hoped for. The food and drinks were all delicious. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Expensive and small dishes but they are all very special and a worthy dining experience. Great view and love that they have a coat rack

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a fantastic breakfast at La Grand Bistro in Kirkland! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right touch of French charm. I ordered the Croque Madame and it was absolutely delicious—crispy, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Charles, our server, was outstanding—attentive, funny, and full of personality. He loved that we were from Ireland and made us feel right at home. We sat out on the terrace, which has an amazing view of the water—such a peaceful and beautiful spot to start the day. Can’t wait to come back!

Yelp
Amazing service and good ambiance for my teams holiday get together. The wine was really good too as we had the Torbreck Shiraz... so good!!!

Yelp
The pastries and coffee are top notch, the interior is so cute, but why is it so loud all the time? Unbearable crowd noise. The experience of eating here is so impersonal. It's like Panda Express but with fancy pastries. You order and pay at the counter and they drop it off with zero social skills. I prefer the ambiance and staff at the Crossroads French Bakery, where they hang my kid's kindergarten teacher's typewriter art. Ms Kelye slay queen!!!

Yelp
This used to be a favorite but we were really dissapointed in the appetizers. We ordered a bread basket ($13) which included one roll, a few crackers and one piece of focaccia bread for four people. Just give us some baguette for half the price with some butter! The pate was very small with no crackers. Bring back the country pork pate and the chicken liver mousse. It also seems like the size of the menu has been reduced.

Yelp
I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I went at 5:20 pm on Tuesday and there were about 10 in there. I ordered something to drink and it took 20 min. I should have left then. Then I ordered steak and fries and the steak was very tough. I ordered it medium and it xame out rare but you couldn't tell because it had sauce all over it. The fries were overcooked and dry. I drank my drink of which the large ice cube melted and diluted the drink. Unfortunately the waitress was more interested in others than me. I will not return and don't suggest you come here. It is unfortunate.

Yelp
Over priced food and mediocre service is par for the course at this Carrilon point place. But anyway, we go there for the view and people watchjng so the staff and kitchen has given up on putting in an y effort.

Yelp
Came out to celebrate a milestone birthday! I hadn't been to this restaurant yet was familiar with the site due to prior restaurants. Parking is out back or in the parking garage below; parking can be validated by the host once seated. We went mid morning & the restaurant was fairly quiet still which was nice to experience the scenic views of the marina & the service was attentive. Fortunately it was brunch & they had specials, seafood options, dessert as well as the main brunch menu. Given our party, they were able to customize some details, such as ideas for the kids (no kids menu noted during brunch) & preparation requests. We had a range of eggs benedict to a potato pancakes & french toast. Drinks were from french 75s to fresh squeezed juice or coffee. I am sure their other menus were just as wonderful. Definitely recommend checking them out; Id be curious to see/hear how others' experience is!

Yelp
What an absolutely perfect time! Daniel was an outstanding friendly AND knowledgeable server. He had some wonderful recommendations including recommending their chocolate torte with coffee cream anglaise and candied orange slices! Possible the best dessert I've ever had! Wow! We also had the apple tartan which delicious too. Love the ambiance here as well. Top notch all the way. Well done.

Yelp
Delicious lunch! We shared some perfect oysters (love their presentation, including the freshly grated horseradish). I had the watermelon, feta, and kale salad, and it was fabulous. Such interesting flavors that went together really well, including the pickled onion and pistachios. My friend had the carrot and red pepper soup along with the house salad and was very happy. Great lunch menu! Next, I want the French dip. The server seemed in a big hurry, not sure what that was about. Besides that it was a great time.

Yelp
We went here for Valentine's Day dinner, and it is a fancy dinner spot, but it did not overly impress us with the food, drinks, or service considering the price. The best part about this place is the location, especially if you sit outside with a romantic or cozy fire. We got an espresso martini and a passion fruit cocktail. The espresso martini was perfect, but the passion fruit cocktail tasted like there was just alcohol and no passion fruit mixed in it. For food, we started with bread and butter and calamari. They were both good, nothing special, but the portion of the calamari was so small for the price and flavor. For the main course, we got truffle mushroom risotto and scallops. The scallops were delicious and the best part of the meal. The service was good but really slow. They do validate parking, but after 7 pm the garage doors usually come up, so they did not validate my ticket. When I was leaving, the parking garage gates were not open, and then I had to go back to the restaurant to ask them again to validate my ticket. I don't blame this on the restaurant, as the parking garage gates are supposed to open after 7 pm, but it was an inconvenience for me. Overall, this place is not up to the standards for their prices, and we are not sure if we would go back.

Julie D.

Yelp
This was a hopping place right near the water in Kirkland, Carillon point. Nice views. Parking in garage waived for two hours when validated. Everything was delicious. The foie gras was creamy and smooth. Fun place to try with a good menu. Lots of locals there.

Yelp
HIDDEN GEM OF BELLEVUE! Positioned in a quaint area of the Seattle metropolitan area, Le Grand Bistro Américan was the perfect place to end my week with some recently-connected coworkers. From the robust wine selection, to the perfectly crafted appetizers, even to the most PERFECT bowl of beef I've had in a while...this place has MADE the list for years to come. Reservations weren't required, but they definitely helped us to get seated faster on a busy weeknight. Next time I'm in the area, a return trip will be made!

Yelp
Really enjoyed our dinner! The service was fabulous. The view was perfect. The drinks were tasty. I am a big French onion soup fan and unfortunately this french onion soup did not impress me. It just wasn't seasoned enough, just pretty bland. However, the entrées more than made up for it! I had the Bison short ribs and they were out of this world! My husband had the Seafood Paëlla and was super impressed. Dessert was also delicious. They had stuffed olives for martinis which I appreciated. All in all everything was phenomenal, except my slight disappointment with the French onion soup. I still recommend and will definitely be back!

Yelp
This is not a vegetarian friendly restaurant - hence, the low rating. If you eat meat, there is plenty for you. As a vegetarian, I left unsatisfied and hungry. The service was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. There are two entrees that are vegetarian - one was a vegetable squash thing and the other was the Farrow. I chose the latter. Farro is like a grain. The fish had beats, some vegetables, stew, and farrow. I don't like it at all. The veggies were bland, the cheese had a weird taste, and for me, the dish was not enjoyable. The parmesan fries are delicious. The bread and butter were great. If you are a vegetarian, I would make sure you like the two entrees listed in the menu. I wasn't a fan of the food. My friends who eat meat, liked it.

Yelp
Had an amazing birthday dinner!! Superior service, phenomenal food and great location on the water. We started off with a couple tasty cocktails and the tuna crudo, very fresh and tasty. For our entrees I went with the beef bourguignon and was blown away by how rich and flavorful everything was. We also ordered the Brussel sprouts which were also packed with flavor! My wife for the pan roasted chicken which had a nice crunchy skin, cooked perfectly in a delicious truffle sauce. They even comped us a birthday dessert which was a wonderful and appreciated surprise. We can't wait to go back and try more on the menu!

Kim S.

Yelp
I agree with other reviewers. Go at sunset on a weekday for a drink and the view. Food is below average. Service, ambience, didn't cut the mustard. Slow and unprofessional.

Maddie L.

Yelp
My boyfriend took me here for Valentine's Day dinner and it was our first time trying Le Grand. For drinks, we ordered an espresso martini and the passion fruit cocktail (forgot the exact name of it). My passion fruit drink was very strong. Just tasted like gin and I had to wait until it watered down to drink it. Definitely not worth the $18 in my opinion and I wouldn't get this again. For food, we ordered the calamari and bread and butter for appetizers, the black truffle mushroom risotto ($40) the seared scallops ($50) and the macaroni ($15) as a side. Our main entrees were from the specials menu. The calamari appetizer was delicious, we loved it. However, the size of the dish was very small for $19, not much calamari at all. The mushroom was risotto was pretty tasty but the dish wasn't very hot. Wish it was hotter, it was just warm. The seared scallops were good along with the macaroni too. No Our server was very sweet and attentive! Multiple staff members came by throughout our visit to check in on us which we appreciated. We did have to wait awhile for our drinks to come out, our food, and the bill. Great ambiance here as well! We sat outside at the fire pits and it was the perfect intimate vibe with the view of the water/city lights. They even have blankets draped on the chairs. Perfect for a date night! All in all, it's a good spot but it's a pricey restaurant. The food was good but don't think it was necessarily worth the price. Our bill came out to almost $200 without tip. Loved the outside area here but not sure if we'll be back.

Joy Q.

Yelp
Great spot for friends gathering and date nights! It is located on the waterfront of Kirkland and offers two hour validated parking. My pro tip: make a reservation during sunset time (check the exact sunset time !) to get the best view from the restaurant I got lucky and sat on the patio on a lovely day. Service was super attentive and made our dinner a great experience. My favorite dishes of the night: bread and beet dip. The pork chop was okay. Didn't like the olives

Yelp
We've been going here for almost a decade and it's been rough lately, I haven't done any updates, because we just always hoped they'll pick it up again. Now they also decided to change their menu, some changes are good, some are not. Their appetizer charcuterie/cheese make your own combo got removed and replaced by a super expensive "chef's choice" platter of mixed meats and cheese. I mean at $36, you have to serve me half a butcher shop to satisfy the cost. I'm not about to spend that kind of money and can't pick my own. The calamari appetizer was super small also, the bread basket is mainly a thin cracker and two more small pieces of bread... nothing compared to the basket of baguette they usually served. Dinner was ok, my husband was missing his steak frites, that got replaced by a much more expensive version of a steak dinner. Not impressed. They were out of mussels, so I went with the duck dish. The duck was good, but missing a decent side dish. We ended the day with a simple chocolate pot the creme, now at a great low price of $14 (yikes). I think they are trying very hard to become one of those French places with tiny portions and a huge price tag, not at all what a French bistro is all about. I'm sad to say that albeit the still nice service and great views, the restaurant is no longer the comfy place I loved and appreciated for their simple, delicious dinners, nice portions, fair prices and great choices. I guess it's time to get out there and look for that again elsewhere.

Linda P.

Yelp
View, service and food all good. I will say one of our guests ordered the Seafood Paella and was not impressed. She said the mussels are much better. My husband had the Onglet à L'Échalote which was absolutely delicious. We will be back.

Brian P.

Yelp
Classy place to enjoy a meal with a view. Corkage fee is reasonable. Food was tasty. I would go again to try more of the menu options.

Brilliana H.

Yelp
I really enjoy going to Le Grand Bistro for the cocktails, oysters, and views. The restaurant is close to the Kirkland waterfront, great for a stroll before or after. The outdoor seating is first come, first serve. They have some tables in the south patio with fireplaces. The service is good, we are always promptly seated with or without a reservation. I LOVE the oysters, the other food is not bad, but a little overpriced in my opinion, but you are paying for the views. I enjoy the cocktails, just had their seasonal Pink Hues which tasted like summer! They can validate parking for up to 2 hours. Recommend trying for a date night or catching up with the friends.

Matt S.

Yelp
The risotto was the grossest thing I've ever seen in my life. I had to really dig in to it to even find a grain of rice. Do they even use Arborio rice? It's questionable. The marinated olives ate disgusting. They can't even do marcona almonds right. Hard pass.

Jody S.

Yelp
There's a plethora of restaurants in Belleve/kirkland, it's time to try others out. We had made a reservation a month ago. We arrive and are seated, it takes 20 mins before our drink order is taken. A lovely server that is understaffed (then do not seat more than you have staff for!) then a considerable time before the bottle of wine arrives, then another 15 mins before our food order is taken. Mind you, you only have a 2 hrs parking allowance. I order the lg French onion soup and Mac n cheese to be served together. The soup arrives first and so I mention again, I'd line them together. I wait another 42 mins before getting a few noodles in a soupy cheese sauce, my soup is now cold. I probably could have over looked one digression but being practically ignored for long periods of time and then eating cold food made me disappointed to say the least. You can imagine how thrilled I was to find out we had to pay for parking because it was impossible to have dinner in the two hour window allotted . Maybe I wouldn't have cared but to pay quite a bit for drinks and dinner and my take away was "never again"! Paying to park was salt in the wound.!! One positive was a beautiful view! Unfortunately, mgt had nothing to do with that!

Nancy W.

Yelp
The atmosphere was beautiful. It was clearly stated that my cocktail was going on someone else's bill as there were seven of us. Marco, the waiter was very pleasant. The cocktails were good although we waited about 10 minutes for sugar for the coffee. The onion soup was to die for, the calamari was overcooked. Three people ordered the beef burgundy and one order clearly had a lot less meat than the other and the woman noticed right away. Even though there might have been three pieces in each bowl, they were so much smaller. The squash risotto was excellent, my duck was good but cold while the vegetables underneath were hot and had no orange flavor whatsoever. The ratio of vegetables to duck was too much. As far as the dessert, the cheesecake was just so so, the chocolate mousse was grainy and you could definitely feel it on your tongue, the sticky pudding was lacking in flavor. When it came time for the bill, my drink was on someone's check along with my dinner order. It took three more times to try to get it rectified and it was still not right but we all paid our bill because we were on the Argosy Christmas ship and we were running late. When I asked the manager while he was taking dessert orders if he knew what was going on who's bill, he said, we have it all in the right place and sort of dismissed me. But in the end it was just such a mess. I would only go back for the onion soup so with that, it would not be worth it to me.

Kristine L.

Yelp
We have been coming to this restaurant for more than 15 years, it been through many different owners. We have now been about 7 times in the last 4+ months and it has totally changed. the menu, the recipes and the prices have gone over the roof.. we will now only come for a drink on the deck on occasion It has lost if French flair and not as great as it once was.

Christina S.

Yelp
Beautiful view, great service and food is good but it I was a little disappointed. I ordered the chicken and mashed potatoes but the chicken was fried chicken and it's supposed to be boneless from the description and well it had bones. I thought it was pricey for an ordinary fried chicken. But the mashed potatoes was good. I ordered a chocolate dessert and it was okay. It wasn't as sweet and again - not a wow factor. View was great and easy parking at the structure as they have an entrance.

Eva G.

Yelp
Used to come here often when I wasn't a pescatarian as they had limited meatless dishes. They have changed their menu to my surprise but I was disappointed that at 11:15 they already ran out of shakshuka. How does that happen? Alternatively I ordered a Bloody Mary, potato pancakes with dill and salmon, which was plate wiping delicious. *chefs kiss* Coffee and cocktails are also decent. Top though: They used to be on OpenTable and now through Resy and it's a little buggie so just make sure you get the time you need. I had to call and that was an issue in of it self as the hostess was overwhelmed.

Brendan c.

Yelp
Extremely overpriced and a mixed bag. To call this place a Bistro is false advertising as the food quality isn't up to standard. Drinks are subpar. Mixed cocktails are fine but nothing worth returning. Their homemade ginger beer is pretty terrible. Maybe brunch is better than dinner but dinner is a mixed bag. Stick to the front page as their entrees seem to be well below subpar. Oysters, charcuterie and cheese boards are great (maybe due to the fact the chef has little to do with it). They are great sharing plates. The chicken live mousse is amazing and the Country Pate great. The charcuterie plating shows little finesse or style. Some of the cheeses taste pretty similar with nothing bold or surprising. Starts and salads are good. As for the second page, if you must buy something stick to the steaks. "Les Grilles" are clearly the only thing they can't screw up royally. But for a "French Bistro" I don't think a New York Strip should be only the menu. I've been to other French Bistro restaurants and they cut their own French steak cuts such as fuax-filet. Similar but not the same cuts. Also for a "French Bistro" they can't cook anything French. Moules Fites is okayish. The menu says "a touch of cream" but it's the primary ingredient in a poorly flavored sauce. The Frites are greasy, soggy and the wrong cut for this dish. As for the most French Bistro dishes, the Cassoulet is an abomination. Cooking dish is undersized so the meats sit above the beans and are cooked to death. Seriously the duck confit is dry and hard, and the sausage is burnt, dried out and flavorless (get a new supplier). The dish is half tasteless bread crumbs. The beans taste like they just came from a can. (Have any of these chefs been to France or at least opened a French cookbook? Food doesn't show it.) The decor is bland with generic french posters. I would say it looks like a chain French restaurant but it's not that good. Maybe that's the "Americain" part. Servers are nice and quick.

Kendyl T.

Yelp
We came here for dessert after date night and it was so good! We were sat outside facing the marina and ordered 2 desserts and espresso martinis. Wry delicious. Our server made sure we felt special that night and we enjoyed talking to them.

Yelp
1. The team. - beverage manager Sho is a rockstar in his industry. 2. While I miss the Tahitian tonic, they are wonderful with their craft cocktails. Tell them what you want and you'll get it. Fresh never canned. 3. Happy hour, from 2 to 4 certain days of the week, is a wonderful treat 4. Sit outside on their deck and enjoy the views. You can make a reservation but you cannot get a guaranteed deck table. However if you go during the week you will have a better chance 5. If you're sitting inside, the acoustics are much better than the restaurant across the way. 6. OK I wish they had a tofu dish I wish They had something for vegans. 7. Their butter lettuce chèvre chaud salad is always a hit. They had this on their menu when they first opened. It's wonderful to see that it is back. As you can tell, there are a variety of people in my party: some vegan ,some meat eaters. There's usually something to nibble on for everyone, but I do encourage (import them to make a wonderful tofu dish or beyond burger. Even in France there's a lot of vegan options these days If you been around the Seattle restaurant scene you might see some familiar faces from the old days at Il bistro amd Roy's and ... it's kind of fun that way. I'm almost afraid to give them a five-star review because I don't want them to get too popular, as we love being spontaneous mid week and finding a table What else am I forgetting oh yeah in the fall and winter they're hot leaded drinks are delicious. A big shout out to the very experienced and creative bartending team. Thank you Sho, thank you Raj at the front desk, thank you Andrew taking orders. I do miss Derrick another waiter. Well and just thank you owners and the team!!

Nina G.

Yelp
I've now been here for dinner and brunch. Luckily I didn't review this after my birthday!! dinner there (mostly because life got in the way and I forgot) but am reviewing this after brunch!! Firstly, this place is awesomely (is that a word?) located!! On the water play carillon point in Kirkland. So I know that already sets you up for success because it's beautiful and amazing. My birthday dinner back in late summer was not very good. It was a party of five and even with a reservation (we had one) it was still a long wait and even though I told them the occasion and importance, it made no difference and getting in the line for outdoor seating was going to force getting out of line for indoor seating. It didn't make any sense and was super stressful! When we did finally get seats at a table outside, the service was mediocre at best. The food was also mediocre at best. The waitress barely paid any attention, and we even had to cancel a final dish for one of the guests because it wasn't coming in time and the rest of the party was almost done eating the rest of the food. Needless to say that there was no extra nice acknowledgment of my birthday or anything at all. Just very underwhelming on all accords. And for a nice fancy place, it was just simply not worth it at all again the only thing that saved it was that it was located in the most beautiful place overlooking the water. Although the dinner experience was not great at all, I decided to give it a shot again, a few months later, because it was in the middle of a North Seattle group, and us coming from Bellevue. So again location played a role though I was hesitant. But the view was the number one selling point so I could show off my city to out of towners. Brunch did not disappoint. Whileslithtly overpriced, the service was great and friendly. There were a few servers that always checked in on us and the dining experience was very pleasant. All plates were finished completely - the potatoes that came with my smoked salmon Benedict were notably outstanding!!! Obviously the view is 150% incredible so that doesn't hurt :-). But the brunch experience is the way to go!!!

Lisa C.

Yelp
First of all, the view from Carillon Pointb is gorgeous. So you can't go wrong there. I went for dinner here with co-workers at 5:30. There appeared to be plenty of tables, but as the night progressed it was hopping. Our server was attentive but it seemed that she told us the cocktails and wine were coming about 4 times before she brought them...1/ hour later. I think the appetizer selection was my favorite. Interesting Charcuterie with a variety of pâtés, they had delicious Kumamoto oysters, and a charred octopus with a yummy purée over it. For my main course I got the Bouillabaisse. It was good, but possibly could use some more spices. For dessert we got the chocolate mousse and crème brûlée. While I think it was high quality and interesting food, in comparison to my favorite restaurants, the value was average. I think you are partially paying for the view too.

Jill P.

Yelp
Excellent food, superb service and valet parking. Can't get any better than that........My husband and I ate there at their annual champagne dinner with a different pour of champagne at each course. It was all amazing, and our server was on point. I cannot wait to go back again!

Adelie S.

Yelp
Great view and decently good food - the best item on the menu was definitely the demi-volaille chicken dish. The beef bourguignon was good as well though the portion was smaller with less meat to sauce ratio. Docking off one star because we made a special note to the server that it was my husband's birthday but they did not do anything special at all, which was a disappointment given that this is supposed to be an upmarket restaurant. Parking is ample but only validated for 2 hours. Not sure if we'll return but glad we tried it at least once!

Eva M.

Yelp
Le Grand Bistro is one of several restaurants at Carillon Point, Yarrow Bay, Kirkland that have beautiful views, if we're lucky enough to score a good table. They have patio tables outside with heaters. +0.5 Stars for the Venue We had reservations for 8pm on a Wed; they close at 9pm. I was betting on a moderately quiet setting by this time. I was wrong. They are still hopping busy, inside and outside. The capacity didn't particularly look like it's at 50%, but their tables are set fairly spread apart to begin with so I'm not going to complain. The place did thin out, as expected, over the course of the last hour. The Food - the bar goes up to align with the prices: Seared Black Cod, $34 - 2.5 Stars Menu: Toasted fregula, roasted corn, cherry tomatoes, pea vines, broccolini, romesco sauce, orange beurre blanc The black cod has an amazingly well seared skin while the fish is perfectly tender. There were some fins in the piece of fish though. I swallowed a piece and was chunking water to dislodge it from my throat. The toasted fregula were too toasted for some parts so there are pieces that are too rock hard. Too bad everything is all mixed together, so I was sitting there sorting hard bits from edible bits. This dish would be better to increase the sauce without toasting the fregula. The broccolini was missing too; I found a couple of end tips, but that's all. Canard A L'Orange, $32 - 4.5 Stars Menu: Pan-roasted duck breast, with butternut-yukon has, scarole, orange brandy demi glace This dish was well done, no complaints. More duck would be nice. Fried Oyster Mushrooms, $15 - 3.5 Stars Menu: King Oyster mushrooms, parmesan, dill oil, horseradish-buttermilk sauce The tips of the mushrooms need to be cut higher. It was quite chewy. The rest of it was good. The breading and frying was good. Service was sufficiently attentive. Our waiter looked very tired. We're the low maintenance type of customers and prefer to be left alone, so that worked out well.

Yelp
Delicious food and beautiful dining space. We came for brunch and got a booth facing the marina which was beautiful! We shared the coffee cake which was really good and crumbly. I ordered the shakshuka for my meal and was satisfied although I expected it to be spicy because the waiter warned me it was spicy. I wouldn't call this dish spicy at all. I wasn't a fan of the yogurt sauce but could see how people would like it - just not for me! Parking in the garage below is validated by the restaurant for up to 2 hours which is super nice because it is all garage or paid lot parking around here. I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
Usually a good choice for brunch, lovely view and location but not today. Our server was pleasant enough just slow and inattentive. We ordered the Pork Belly with poached eggs and the special of the day, Crab Benedict. The pork belly was undercooked, skin wasn't crispy and as undercooked all the way through, extra fatty. The flavor of the dish was lovely and spoilt by the pork belly. Poached eggs cooked perfectly I will add. The Crab Benedict was like "let's play spot the crab". Grated crab sprinkled on the poached eggs, certainly not $32 worth. Quite disappointing. Our cocktails were excellent Espresso Martini 10 points!

Yelp
Reservations were easy to make on open table. Parking can be a little confusing. There is a garage directly under the restaurant and a specific set of stairs that will lead you straight to the restaurant lobby. There are not a lot of sign in the parking garage that will show you where exactly to park. Parking here will be validated. Don't forget to bring up your ticket! I tried the daily special, asparagus quiche with a side salad. The filling was so tasty and flavorful and the crust was buttery and flaky. Service was really great and views were lovely.

Yelp
Met up with friends for brunch and had a great experience. We sat outdoors and unfortunately the side that's closest to the water wasn't open since it's uncovered and they said they don't have a way to wipe down the seating. It was still a bit chilly so had to keep the jackets on but not so cold that it made it unpleasant. I got the duck hash and it was pretty tasty but heavy. If there were ways to maybe add a bit more crunch that would elevate the dish a little more. Overall the dining experience was pleasant, food was tasty and the company even grander!

Yelp
The food prices have considerably gone up! The menu options have changed. Check out their menu. Table bread cost $9.00. The crab salad costs $38.00! I didn't order the crab salad. My friend ordered Egg's Benedict. The ham was dry. Very disappointing dining experience.

Yelp
Had a family dinner yesterday. Four out of five people went ill couple hours later with food poisoning symptoms.

Yelp
went here with my older Aunt and uncle. Service was not great. The younger waiters seem annoyed by old people. Food was OK. Nothing to write home about. Prices weren't bad considering the location. I got the eggs Benedict. ham was very dry, portion was very small and the potatoes were good, but the size varied from the size of marbles to one of them being the size of a half of a large potato. Very inconsistent the part that bothered me the most was the lack of respect for the elderly. I mean, yeah, I'm sure very rich 80-year-olds might not be the most polite or the best tippers but still pretty rude. you would think they would be nicer considering 90% of the people in the restaurant were elderly. maybe they're just jealous of the 50 foot yachts parked out front. IDK.

Yelp
Delicious food and gorgeous views, but incredibly slow service. My friends and I came here for brunch on a Sunday in March. We were seated promptly but after ordering, the food took almost an hour to come out. Our waiter sparsely checked in on us and made no comment on the wait time once the food finally did arrive. On the plus side, the smoked salmon was wonderful and was the perfect quantity for brunch. However, the long wait time and lack of communication left a poor impression. I likely won't be back anytime soon.

Yelp
This is a lovely brunch spot overlooking the lake. We have been here multiple times, although never for dinner. The coffee is amazing, the food is good, but service can be slow at times. Overall consistently good, parking is easy (they validate parking in the underground garage), and a nice place to visit as long as you are not in a hurry

Yelp
We came here to celebrate a birthday. They were able to accomodate our large party when my husband called in. We were excited try this place after discovering it when we stayed at the Woodmark last year. I got Les Deux Canards, it was perfectly cooked! Juicy and a little crispy. My husband got the Rack of Lamb special which also good, very tender, not too gamey. The brussels sprouts, fries, mac & cheese, and oysters where also a big hit with our party. The pork belly from the charcuterie was particularly good. We'll definitely come back to try other things on the menu. I want to try the steaks and french onion soup. It was nice that there were stairs from the garage that went up to the restaurant so we were able to avoid being outside in the rain.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday before Mother's Day with my husband and child, they set us but 15 + more minutes later not one single person approached us to even offer us water, not even I'll be back with you, I know we were the only Latinos there but hey we still even going to pay and consume like every other white person there. What it upset they several servers walked by us and looked at us, made eye contact with 3 and none offer us like I said a water, even though they walked by with a jar of water in his hand, offered to the table next to us but again ignored us, they even checked on the table behind us and next to us. NEVER AGAIN, I will even let my friends and family know to avoid this uncomfortable place.

Yelp
Wow, the food was mediocre at best and the service was slow. I guess the view is the only plus. Would not go back.

Yelp
We had reservations to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we made the reservations specifically during sunset so we could enjoy it. Upon check in we were told we had a few people ahead of us so for us to wait.. We waited for 15 minutes to be seated catching the last bit of sunset. Once we sat down it took 10 minutes for someone to just bring us water and another 30 minutes to have a waitress come to our table, and she did seem kind of annoyed or rude. We ordered our food, 30 minutes after that they come and told us what I had ordered was no longer available. That was very frustrating, not that they ran out but that we have been there for an hour and 20 minutes at that point. They were apologetic for not having the dish but that's not what they should have apologized for. At that point I didn't want to even order anything so we waited for my husband's dish to come out. We kept waiting and waiting, we were about to just leave and after 25 minutes it finally came out. Almost an hour after we had ordered. Dissapointing experience for sure, I don't think it's worth it and I wish we would have gone elsewhere.

Yelp
Enjoyed a lovely brunch with friends! Despite the crummy weather we had a yummy meal, tasty drinks, and good conversation.
