"The Grand Hôtel de Cabourg, once frequented by Marcel Proust, is one of the best-preserved seaside hotels from the Belle Époque and a gem of Art Deco architecture. Le Balbec – one of the hotel's restaurants – is located in the gallery, which overlooks the seafront, and where serving precise, refined dishes with an abundance of beautiful flavours is a matter of pride. For food lovers in search of lost time!" - Michelin Inspector

Beautiful old hotel, with big rooms and lots of charm. Everything was clean. People were friendly and great service. One employee even rushed us to the station so we would not miss our train. Breakfast is good. The beach setting cannot be beat. Very pretty and lots to do for kids. Tons of restaurants and shops nearby. We chose this place because we wanted to be near the water, and it did not disappoint.

We had a marvelous stay at the grand hotel in Cabourg. It’s a magnificent structure with beautiful common large rooms. The bar area and lobby are spectacular and very inviting. We had drinks before going out to dinner in the bar every single evening. The mixologist prepare exquisite drinks, and our dinner was excellent!

Very poor service – definitely not a 5-star experience! When we arrived, no one greeted us and no assistance was offered with our luggage. Reception is not available 24/7, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be 5-star. I requested an extra blanket, and it took over 30 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, it was dirty and came without a sheet – completely unacceptable. On top of that, the staff’s level of English was poor, making communication difficult. Extremely disappointed with the service and overall experience. Would not recommend.

My wife and I had a great stay at the Grand Hotel in Cabourg. It’s right on the beach, with amazing views, and feels like a step back in time in the best possible way. The rooms are fully updated and comfortable, and the overall service was great. Cabourg itself is quintessential Normandy: charming, walkable, and amazing old homes and architecture. It was also the perfect home base for everything we wanted to see—Mont Saint-Michel, the D-Day beaches, Étretat, Honfleur, Houlgate, Deauville, Trouville, the cider route—everything was an easy drive or day trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better combo of beauty, comfort, and location.

One of the worst hotel I have ever seen - extremely old, there are smell of the mould in the room , it is so hard that not comfortable to use the bathroom. There is no any design or style in the hotel - just a purple rugs which also looks extremely strange. Nice restaurant at the first floor for dinner, ok for breakfast but again - nothing special, where big part of the menue ( eggs Benedict in my case ) was not allowed for order .

The stay was absolutely amazing. Our room was spacious and clean. Our room was facing the city center and the outside garden. Breakfast was awesome. The restaurant has a sea views. It’s spectacular. The breakfast was very delicious. The city center was just within easy walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery markets and shopping close by to the hotel.

The staff, food, room, location and the town were incredible. We’ll most definitely be retuning to this perfect hotel!

This hotel is awesome - it's exactly what I would expect from old black & white romantic movie - glamorous, beautiful, classy, with incredible views, ridiculously fantastic amazing food. Would absolutely come back here... repeatedly. I've now been to this hotel three times, and my only regret is having only come here when it has been cold, so I haven't been able to enjoy the beach.
