Beautiful old hotel, with big rooms and lots of charm. Everything was clean. People were friendly and great service. One employee even rushed us to the station so we would not miss our train. Breakfast is good. The beach setting cannot be beat. Very pretty and lots to do for kids. Tons of restaurants and shops nearby. We chose this place because we wanted to be near the water, and it did not disappoint.

The hotel in my eyes has seen better days – it’s a classic grand hotel that feels quite dated. For the price, I personally expect more. Unless you book a room with a sea view, there’s unfortunately little to justify the high cost: for example, there’s no pool. What really surprised (and disappointed) me most was the fact that a sunbed on the beach directly in front of the hotel costs an extra €90 per day. This is something I simply don’t expect from a 5-star grand hotel. On a positive note, I’d like to highlight the excellent housekeeping team – friendly, attentive, and professional. Their service really stood out.

A piece of history in Cabourg. A beautiful grand hotel right on the beach, with friendly staff, a great breakfast, and plenty of Belle Époque charm. I’ll be back! There was, however, one surprise: using the hotel’s private beach costs an additional €90. Perhaps this reflects a difference between French and German hospitality. When I pay €350 for a night, I expect to be able to spend an hour on the hotel’s beach. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible in my case. Therefore: 2 stars for service!

Stay couldn't have been better. Got a balcony room facing the English Channel for our first trip to France. Accommodations were over the top. Spacious suite with outstanding staff and service. Well run hotel!!

We had a marvelous stay at the grand hotel in Cabourg. It’s a magnificent structure with beautiful common large rooms. The bar area and lobby are spectacular and very inviting. We had drinks before going out to dinner in the bar every single evening. The mixologist prepare exquisite drinks, and our dinner was excellent!

Excellent location. Luxurous building. Efficient and froendly service.|Big room. Big and very good bed. Shower in a bath, unfortunately. Good breakfast. Nice service. |Parking in front. One 22 kWh charger for an eletric vehicle in front but I could’n get it charging.

Very poor service – definitely not a 5-star experience! When we arrived, no one greeted us and no assistance was offered with our luggage. Reception is not available 24/7, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be 5-star. I requested an extra blanket, and it took over 30 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, it was dirty and came without a sheet – completely unacceptable. On top of that, the staff’s level of English was poor, making communication difficult. Extremely disappointed with the service and overall experience. Would not recommend.

Very satisfied by the service, especially at the reception where we had a good surprise upon our wedding engagement event: the reception guys have set up the hotel room with roses and gifts! Tx a lot for this warm welcome :-)
