"At the edge of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Grand Hotel Cayré has stood on the corner of Boulevard Raspail and the Rue du Bac since 1920. From its Jazz Age heyday as a hub for writers and artists, it needed a little TLC. A head-to-toe renovation was completed in summer 2024. General manager Mickael Meunier, previously of the city’s happening hotel Les Bains, orchestrated the renaissance. In style and ambience, Le Grand Hôtel Cayré embodies the spirit of the Roaring Twenties. Interior architect Michaelis Boyd dressed the interiors with antique mirrors, embroidered fabrics, and art deco–style lamps and crystal chandeliers. The art-filled Annette is an all-day restaurant that aims to be a neighborhood institution. Bruno Brangea, previously head chef at Ducasse Paris, oversees the brasserie menu (pâté en croute, eggs mimosa, beef tartare). The Officine Bac (the Dispensary) is a sexy drinking den where Oscar Blackstone creates cocktails inspired by the botanicals used by chemist naturalist Raspail. Other welcome attractions include a gym and a “refresh room” for guests arriving on red-eye flights. Leading up to the 123 guest rooms, the original staircase features a sky fresco painted by Mathias Kiss. Two standout suites offer all-inclusive mini bars and Eiffel Tower views. L’appartement du Collectionneur, on the seventh floor, is a showroom of 20th- and 21st-century furniture and decorative arts. Think modernist pieces by Pierre Sala, furniture by Rinck, and fabrics by Pierre Frey. Very lovely little boutique Hotel. Freshly renovated in July 2024. Very modern clean and full of friendly staff. The rooms are very clean and cute. The hotel has a restaurant, and two bars, its very nicely decorated. In a good spot, nice little shops, bistros and eatery's in the area. Markets on a regular basis close by. Perfect end to our stay in Europe.

The Grand Hôtel Cayré has been beautifully renovated while still keeping its French charm and style. The staff were welcoming and so friendly morning, noon and night. Sarah especially made our stay so special and treated us like a member of the family. She helped us use the Ubers and made recommendations for restaurants and places to shop. The location of this hotel is perfect looking out to the Boulevard Raspail in the best area of the Saint Germain. I have been to Paris many times and this was by far my favorite experience. I am looking forward to our next stay and would highly recommend Le Grand Hôtel Cayré!

Our hotel stay was great - the hotel itself is exceptionally clean and fresh. The room was lovely and comfortable, although a bit on the smaller side. The staff was great, we appreciated a welcome note and a thoughtful gift on arrival for our anniversary! The best part is definitely its location - we walked to all the main attractions in the city and options for dining and shopping were numerous. Haven’t used a car once. Service was lovely and special note regarding the restaurant - the food was remarkable! Highly recommended both the hotel & restaurant Annette

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Cayré was incredible, a beautiful experience in every way. The hotel itself is stunning, with a unique charm, and truly embodies luxury and comfort. However, we did experience some minor coordination issues with the housekeeping service during our stay. Thankfully, Sarah and the wonderful front desk team were able to swiftly resolve these and made sure they didn’t impact our overall experience. A special thank you to Sarah by the way, whose beauty is only matched by her kindness and the radiant smile with which she welcomed us to the hotel. She put stars in our eyes from day one and especially in the eyes of my little sister Dea which eagerly awaited Sarah’s return on her days off, counting down the moments until she could see her again. Sarah made our entire family feel so special, and we’ll always cherish these memories. Thank you, for your warmth and for making our stay unforgettable.

He went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met with a smile. His recommendations for local dining and tips for navigating the city during the Olympics were invaluable. The location of Le Grand Hôtel Cayré is also worth noting. It’s perfectly situated to provide easy access to various Olympic venues, as well as some of Paris's most iconic attractions. Whether I was headed to a game or exploring the city, everything was conveniently accessible. The rooms at the hotel provided a luxurious retreat after a day full of activities. Comfortable, beautifully furnished, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for, they offered a true sense of relaxation and privacy. I highly recommend Le Grand Hôtel Cayré to anyone visiting Paris, especially during large events like the Olympics. I have been staying at Hotel Cayre for years every time I go to Paris. I love the location and the value. The hotel was renovated and I like the renovation. The new hotel is much warmer and inviting. My room was small and wish there were more drawers and storage space, but not a dealbreaker.

I had reserved 2 double rooms in October 2024, for a period of 3 nights.(4 adults)|The hotel is extraordinarily beautiful and elegant, the staff is very helpful at the reception as well as at the bar and restaurant.|The cleaning services in the room are very poor; the rooms were not cleaned until this was complained to the reception.|Also no |the daily coffee was refreshed only after complaining about this at the reception. (the appointments on the tablet in the room, where you request everything you want, were made by us according to the instructions at the reception)|The breakfast was very bad, poor and monotonous compared to the level of the hotel.|Every day it was the same (identical) menu, consisting of simple scrambled eggs, coffee, juice, and 4 croissants shared between 2 people. Anything you request to add to the egg preparation costs 5 euros.....there is no such thing |normal. I can't imagine that if I had stayed 7 nights at this hotel, I would have had to eat the same breakfast 7 mornings; anyway, 3 identical breakfasts were more than enough for the next 5 months of life.

Our stay was nearly perfect, though the room cleaning could have been better. Sarah at the front desk made all the difference! She introduced us to her Milky Tea, spoke to us in Turkish and Arabic, and somehow managed to get us restaurant reservations when no spots were available. Her warmth made our experience unforgettable. Thank you !
