"Once a Portland-based creperie, Le Happy has brought its French flair to Sandy’s Proctor Boulevard, ladling bowls of onion soup and filling buckwheat crepes with Gorgonzola and mushrooms. Those who prefer their crepes sweet can choose from fillings like Nutella and banana or coconut custard, or land somewhere in the middle with the Monte Cristo, a crepe filled with egg whites, black forest ham, Swiss cheese, and strawberry preserves. Beverages include cocktails like mimosas and margaritas, as well as a wide range of espresso drinks." - Levi Rogers

Yelp
The crêpes were so delicious. Yeah, on top of that the service was amazing.. very very friendly people. Would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
We were on our way to Portland and knew we would arrive too early to check into our hotel. This restaurant is very sweet, and would be a cute spot for a birthday party or other small event. The music was upbeat, cheerful, and French. A couple of people seemed to be on dates, and were enjoying the vibe. The savory and sweet "salad" crepe was our favorite. I thought the coconut cream crepe was too sweet, but my mom enjoyed it. If you're leaning in that direction, add the banana. I wouldn't make a special trip to visit this restaurant, but it was an unexpected treat.

Yelp
This was a cute little spot in Sandy that we just came across while driving through town. It was raining but they had outdoor seating that I'll have to try when the weather is better. The staff was really nice and service was quite prompt despite them being busy. I definitely appreciated that. And if it was busy when it was raining, I can imagine they would be just as busy of the weather was nice. Everything sounded really good on the menu. My sister ended up ordering several dishes that we all could share to sample. While everything tasted really good, the portions were a bit too small for me. But now I know. As far as price, it's slightly pricier but they do have a unique menu which you can't quite find just anywhere. I would go back to try the other crepes and dishes, and their drinks.

Yelp
Feeling like something a little different. Haven't had in for a while We shared the Bistro plate. Was tasty. Fries not crispy but, it's a forker anyway. Tasty sauce. Bacon crumbles could taste fresher Not a bad value Crepes not as good a value. Being gluten free I need to pop the $2.50 extra. Basically $17.50 gets me the cheapest tier savory crepe and a small frieze salad. Very tasty but very little filling. A satisfying meal will require a starter. Service was good. We were the only people there though.

Yelp
A perfect stop on our road trip for a pleasant rest and good food. Our young kids split the kids bacon and cheese and a Nutella banana. They loved it! A big hit. Our meals were delicious as well. The staff were kind and helpful (especially with our littles, which was so appreciated!). Very welcoming space as well.

Yelp
A cozy fun atmosphere with a wide variety of sweet and savory crepes. Prices are reasonable, good coffee and clean space. Highly recommend with friendly service and yet casual environment. #supportlocal

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch driving home from a family vacation in Bend and LOVED it! It's a remodeled home so it has a lot of personality and the decorations make it feel cozy and warm. The servers were so friendly, had fantastic recommendations, and the crepes were delicious. It's sometimes not easy to find delicious gluten free options in smaller towns, so we were really happy to find this place. We fully intend on this being a regular lunch spot when we head to/from the Bend area again in the future. Thanks to Le Happy Creperie staff!

Yelp
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Le Happy last weekend. We had a wonderful time. Everybody loved the delicious food and drinks. The service was excellent. Lots of smiles and just a wonderful atmosphere.

Yelp
Coming down from a hike toward Damascus, we were looking for some brunch. With a banner advertised, I made a few turns to park nearby. We were greeted by a busy but smiling server told us she'd be right with us. We were eventually seated in the corner next to a window. We reviewed the menu and there were a few tasty things. We opted in to share some good things including a Monte Cristo crepe. Oh, it was so good. I enjoyed the salad crepe and the avocado shrimp rice bowl. My nephew had the shrimp benedict. The table also had a box of cards that said 'talk to each other.' Each had a question and we went around the table answering them. It's a great idea! I am sure we will be back. Review #39 of 100 in 2023.

Yelp
I enjoyed my crepes, I think I actually prefer the dough for the sweet crepes instead of the savory. The food was good and had to order one sweet and one savory. Staff were very friendly, there were several people inside and outside so the order took a little while. The drinks were very tasty and pair well with the crepes. Don't let the size of the crepe make you think it isn't going to be enough. I was so full I needed to be wheeled down the street. Will be back for sure!

Yelp
The food was pretty expensive for what it was and didn't look all that appealing presentation wise (which my food never looks presentable when I cook either so I can't complain all that much). We were looking for pet friendly places as we like taking our small dog out for a breakfast walk and saw that this place said it was pet friendly online. When we entered and were looking to get a seat they said they didn't allow pets and that we couldn't even stay inside to order but online it said they do allow pets. The staff weren't very polite about us having our dog there either as if we had committed a crime. My husband took the dog outside and I ordered to go anyway just to try the food & sat on the front porch to wait for our food for a while. Later on, while passing by, I saw they have a covered patio out back but they never offered us any seating there so I don't know what it was all about. Either way I don't recommend this place, we just didn't have a particularly pleasant experience.

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch on our drive back to Portland from Mt Hood. Adorable little place with tasty crepes. We had the ham, Swiss and egg and the mushroom crepe. Both great and the crepe was delicate. Great mimosas too. Definitely worth a stop.

Sage R.

Yelp
Crepes were delicious, the service was excellent, staff was very friendly, and overall and very cute nice environment! Great drinks too

Yelp
This place is amazing. The food is utterly decadent, and enjoyed in an adorable house restaurant. I had the champagnion crepe--so rich! And excellently paired with a small salad. My girlfriend had the monte cristo which was also delicious. Service was also wonderful, and very prompt. There are so many things to try, so we hope to come back sometime!

Brad M.

Yelp
Food and drinks are really good. The owners are super friendly and attentive. All employees are friendly and provide a top level of customer service. The food is delicious for either meals or dessert! I haven't found a dish they offer that I haven't enjoyed.

Yelp
One of my FAVORITE places! A perfect casual date spot, great for stopping in solo or with groups too. Lovely patio seating in the sun. The crepes and salads always hit the spot - especially the Champignon. Try the homemade pear soda! Everything about Le Happy - from the ambiance to the food and service is wonderful. I cannot recommend them enough.

Kelsea S.

Yelp
I was very pleased with how cute this restaurant was and how clean too! Looks to have a full bar area as well! I ended up getting the shrimp Benedict crepe/loaded fried potatoes,I was SO pleased. More than Enough shrimp and all flavors came together so nicely. I also had a americano cream brûlée coffee and that was honestly the best one I've had. We will definitely be back for more. Thank you for the good service too!

Amy W.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. We sat on the beautiful outdoor patio! We gave it a shot for our anniversary and really enjoyed it. The server was good too. Will go back!

Cassia G.

Yelp
I was honestly shocked at how amazing their crepes were from being in a small town. They leveled up to some of the very best crepes I've had. The service was amazing both the waitresses were phenomenal. When you walk in you get small town vibes with a touch of classy. It was quiet and quaint somewhere you'd want to go for a date or bring the girls for brunch. They have the cutest little tubs of baby Nutella for sale. We had their savory crepes and their sweet crepes both done very well. My favorite was the spicy peanut tofu and the strawberry lemon curd crepe.

Dianepbh B.

Yelp
I have tried three times to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Today was disappointing. We ordered a mushroom crepe, a classic dessert crepe, french onion soup and warm kale salad. Two stars is generous. The portions were ridiculously small. The price was not worth it at all. The dessert crepe is supposed to have lemon and it was hard to discern. The soup portion was tiny. The mushroom was unappetizing. And the guy taking the order was not customer oriented. Even saw that my hands were full and though he was standing two feet away, did not bother to help get the door open. Last chance given. Not recommend at all.

Yelp
Oh my .... This place is dangerous, dangerously delicious. Great meal here and we're already planning a follow up visit. We love crepes, but this is the I only place I can honestly say the savory crepes are as good s the sweet crepes. You will love it. Great staff, amazing food.

Cindy T.

Yelp
Very good variety of both sweet and savory crepes! Absolutely delicious! Coffee options, cocktails and mock-tails. The service was fast, and with a smile. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to see us! The decor was fun and cheerful. I especially liked the cards at the table that gave you conversation starters to get people talking! I would encourage everyone to stop by!

Brett G.

Yelp
Always my favorite place for a good food and live music. My favorite is the steak with mushrooms and caramelized onions and a dessert crepe. So amazing every time!

Shannon B.

Yelp
The staff there was extremely friendly. The food was delicious and the service was quick. It's very nice and clean inside looks happy and beautiful.

Yelp
The Amazing: Lovely atmosphere and attentive service - the best in Sandy. No problem getting a seat. Food came out very quickly. The owners clearly care a great deal about the experience and it shows! The kids loved their sweet crepes. The Okay: The savory crepe's offered were good, but could stand to have a fresher whole ingredients and cooked over a little higher heat to develop a little more caramelization on the crepe itself. Several utensils were not clean and needed to be sent back. Mixed drinks were okay, but lacked the flair we were expecting from the descriptions on the menu. Everything seemed a little overpriced, but I think that might be the case with inflation in 2021. The disappointing: The French Onion soup was not French Onion soup. Real French onion soup is onions, garlic, butter, beef stock, white wine, brandy, and seasonings. It's topped with a couple of slices of fresh baguette and a generous portion of Gruyere cheese melted on the top under a salamander (an uber-powerful commercial broiler). What we were served tasted (and looked like) chicken broth with a tiny bit of boiled onions. It was topped with the SMALLEST croutons that looked like baguette (but were not) and had maybe a teaspoon of cheese barely melted. This is NOT French Onion soup, guys! Please don't pass it off as such. It's broth with onions. For the real deal, Google Preppy Kitchen French Onion Soup for a rundown on how to make the real thing.

Yelp
owners are lovely, kind people who work so hard to make their food delicious and experience welcoming. I appreciate how they hire high schoolers! such a lovely place to have in our community. food is SO good with many unique menu items. refreshing for Sandy!

Yelp
Today was our first visit as our usual Sunday breakfast place was packed. From the street the restaurant just looks like a tiny house right on the busy Highway 26. Boy was I wrong! As we walked up we noticed a beautiful outdoor fully covered patio surrounded by lush garden beds. Background music played at a volume sufficient to mask the road noise, but not so loud to be distracting. The patio was cool and comfortable even though the day was hot. So crepes...I really didn't know what to expect. Well I shouldn't have worried. Delicious, beautiful, and unique. We ended up ordering a second round. Whether you want something savory or sweet the menu can oblige. We tried both. And we saw many interesting drinks go by our table so if fancy libations are your thing they can provide. We will be back...

Yelp
I've been to France and can attest to the quality of this place. The food is genuinely amazing and put together with great attention to detail. The service is very friendly and the place has a casual, chill ambience (zero pretentious) and is always clean. Both savory and sweet crepes have been on point, the drinks are creative and appealing, and prices are very reasonable.

Sativa B.

Yelp
This place was so good. We stopped here after a long hike and ordered 2 savory crepes and one sweet one. All three were amazing and the (I think it was buck wheat) flour in the savory crepes was unique and tasty. The server was really friendly too and the fact they had a full bar was awesome. We would definitely go back

Donald P.

Yelp
Fantastic restaurant!! They've got a great relatively new outdoor seating area with a lovely fire (in process of being installed). The food is amazing. We'll definitely be back.

Deb D.

Yelp
Met a dear friend for lunch and it was awesome!! Great service and yummy food and drinks. Will be back for sure!

Yelp
First time visit to the highest rated restaurant in Sandy and found it disappointing. 3 of 4 meals ordered were delivered cold and were sent back and redone. Service was very cooperative and did not hesitate to offer recooking which was done. The crepe was very flat and lacking in both flavor and volume of filling. Steak bites were very tender and flavorful but still not very warm when reserved. Seasoned fries were very good. Onion soup though having a good flavored broth was very thin and lacking in onion, cheese and crusty bread bread topping. Would I go back? Probably. While the food didn't reach our expectations based on other review, we thoroughly enjoyed the friendly staff and the food was ok.

David H.

Yelp
Amazing crepes, great coffee and a really nice atmosphere. BUT....... Be prepared to be charged a split fee if your wife takes a few bites off your plate. Plus a surcharge for using a credit card, which is nonsense. Be prepared to spend about $45 for crepes and coffee with a decent tip. Wow. A bit overpriced.

Shelby Lee F.

Yelp
Super cute. Nice ambiance. Great selection of crepes - savory and sweet, coffee and drink options. Quick and friendly service. Would totally come here again!

Patrick M.

Yelp
Masterful cooking! The crepes were incredible! The poached egg on my mushroom crepe was perfectly cooked, it was so creamy it just oozed into the crepe and elevated an already delicious dish. My wife's chèvre and onion crepe was insane! We split a cinnamon, maple, cream cheese and pecan crepe for dessert! So good! We will be back...., often!

Allen H.

Yelp
pros: nice outdoor eating area, great fresh ingredients, lots of options, nice portions for the fruit crepes cons: little pricey, dainty serving of style over substance eggs, lean on the proteins per serving

Sarri T.

Yelp
WOW. We were desperate for a dinner spot and happened to see this as we were driving through town. Lucky us! We enjoyed savory crepes for dinner and shared sweet crepes for dessert. Service was super friendly. We sat outside- lovely evening! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Kayla C.

Yelp
We hosted our baby shower here and had an amazing experience. Great covered outdoor space with heater where we stayed dry and warm during a rainstorm. They let us pare down the menu for our guests, service was great, and food/drinks wonderfully crafted. Highly recommend for a private event!

Brier C.

Yelp
I would give it 5 stars, but there were hardly any onions in the French onion soup. The savory crepes are amazing! This is the first time we've been able to eat on site in there patio. It's quite lovely.

Julie D.

Yelp
Had Oeuf Deluxe and potatoes Anna. Delicious!! Plus an Irish coffee that has a nice buzz. Will be back!

Lucas M.

Yelp
I didn't realize this place only had three reviews or I would have done one sooner. I stopped by twice over the summer. Their crepes are delicious and the place is spotless. I think they must have a roomba or something. Coffee was decent. Loses 1/2 a star for being a little on the expensive side and also loses 1/2 a star for having oddball hours. I want a breakfast crepe well before 11 thank you very much. Super easy to stop at heading west through Sandy, even pulling a trailer.

Betsy M.

Yelp
Cute restaurant and the crepes were decent enough but not for the price. The French onion soup was a huge disappointment. I was actually looking forward to having French onion soup. It's one of my favorite things to order in a French restaurant and what I got was a giant clear mug of broth with two croutons and three pieces of shredded cheese. I didn't actually see any onions in it. Super disappointing. If they could please even google an image of French onion soup they would know what they have is all wrong. I would go back for a sweet crepe but it would be nice if people made the same effort toward savory French food as they do sweet French food. In short, fix the French onion soup or rename it.

Tj E.

Yelp
Great food. Portions aren't big but amazing. Drinks are some of the best I've ever had - hands down!

Mary S.

Yelp
I am posting this for the benefit of my Red Hat Society sisters. Recently I made a reservation for their outdoor patio. Weekday. Spoke to the manager and it was confirmed for up to 20. Told her it would more than likely be 12-14. AFTER I emailed the ladies of the group - days later - I get this call saying they require a $75.00 non refundable deposit. Needless to say this should have been mentioned when I made the reservation. I had brought two other chapters before when we ate inside with no mention of a non-refundable deposit. Have to say the last time I went was a group of 8 and three of them did not like the food and thought it spendy. I was willing to give them another chance since they have an outdoor patio but not for $75.00. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Laura R.

Yelp
Went to ale Happy for the first time today! The food was great along with the bloody Mary's! Thanks for a great meal and great service!!!

Stuart C.

Yelp
WOW, this place is really good. It take me back to being in Paris with my wife. My wife and I wanted to support our local business in this hard time. The ordering on line was very simple and user friendly. When I got the the store there was another person waiting for her take out. I'm glad to see others supporting them. The Crepes were thin and filled with ham, bacon and sriracha for me, mushrooms and gorgonzola with bacon for my wife and bacon and cheddar for our son. All of the crepes were very good. With the social distancing they brought the food out to our car for us. WE WILL BE BACK when we are able to eat out again. Thank you for being open and welcome to Sandy.

Kelly E.

Yelp
Delicious crepes with a selection for any appetite - welcome to the neighborhood! Looking forward to meeting friends here to enjoy a bite and a cocktail when we can gather together again.

Lindsay P.

Yelp
Not many outdoor eating options in Sandy and Le Happy Creperie wins our vote. Four of us stopped here for lunch and were so happy with their covered outdoor dining as well as delicious crepes and salad! Our group ordered a variety and we were all happy. My favorite was the Champignon with Gorgonzola, the crepe my husband ordered.....and I don't even like Gorgonzola. Open for dinner too and brunch I think. We will be back!

Brianna J.

Yelp
This is such a great addition to to Sandy! Great service, yummy crepes, and awesome cocktails! We'll be back for sure.

Anna L.

Yelp
I love this place! It is so unique from any other restaurant in town. The food is AMAZING and very gourmet. I had the Saumon Fume crepe, which tasted perfect. The drinks are also really tasty! The atmosphere of the restaurant is so cute and homey! And the staff was very friendly. Definitely going to come back!
