Cozy restaurant that serves delicious French dishes with Japanese influences. Excellent and friendly service. The open-faced ravioli was silky smooth with a salty cream sauce on light, smooth noodles and sumptuous crayfish. The meat was delicate and juicy - cooked quite well. This appetizer was a group favorite! Fricasse mushrooms had a warm brown cream sauce and poached egg. Great appetizer too - quite juicy. The escargot was delivered without shells in a croissant like tiny hut / bowl. Creative and tasty with garlic, and other garnishes. The scallops were slightly seared and so moist. Served with yams, capers berries, and other garnishes, it was a nicely portioned meal. Not too heavy. The beef stew was heart warming and savory, with very tender meat and a great brown sauce. The staff shared a side dish of delicious mashed potatoes, which complemented the beef stew very well. Special thanks to Anna and Rania for welcoming us to this restaurant, sharing insights into their menu favorites, and for the great overall service. Much appreciation to Chef Hide for the fantastic meal! 😊

I’m so happy we dined here ! The food and service were spectacular! Amazing well prepared dishes, attentive staff. The prix-fix menu is worth it and gives you a taste of everything they have to offer! A hidden gem. Small restaurant but great !

This was not dinner. This was a trascendental experience. And for what you pay, it's really good bang for your buck. We loved it, every single dish and the waitress was extremely polite and welcoming, very patient with my rusty French, even if she spoke English.

Google
It is a cozy gem with genuinely caring staff and the best duck foie grass (hot option) I’ve had to date - amazing! The duck dish itself is also a winner. We tried the beef stew and the stake. The beef stew was very tender along with well balanced risotto. I would come back again, over and over again- what a great find!

My husband remembered this restaurant from many years ago. He raved about the Foie Gras and the Scallops. So, we had to return! We were not disappointed. The Foie Gras is heavenly. The crayfish ravioli was delicate and cooked perfectly. Our entrees were the duck breast, which was cooked med rare just as we asked, and the scallops with peas and sweet potatoes. The portion size is generous and I definitely had to take my time to eat a respectable percentage! The two servers worked well together. The environment is pleasant. Music is softly playing in the background so it is easy to talk. We were too full to eat dessert, but my husband had an espresso. The helpful young lady behind the bar called a cab for us. On the way out I got a wave and a big smile from Chef Hide! I gave him two thumbs up! Definitely give this place a try! It’s small, relaxed and fabulous food.

Elegant and simple setting with friendly service and beautiful meals. We had the escargot, mushroom tomato, duck, lamb shoulder, scallops and the chestnut cake. The lamb shoulder was the best, so supple and beautifully seasoned.

We had a business lunch in Le Hide. Place is small and comfortable. Our waitress was very helpful and helped us to choose dishes. Every dish we have ordered was tasty and special.

Great new spot I was introduced to. The service was great. The food was delicious, and the wine...yeah, we got two bottles! LOL Definitely worth it. We didn't have reservations but were taken care of before they even opened! I would definitely go back!

Yelp
Le Hide is a dinner only restaurant open from 6:30-11pm located near Arc de Triomphe. The French likes to eat late compare to U.S. I highly recommend making reservations as this is a smaller restaurant like limited tables. We came on a Thursday night and it was packed with customer waiting outside. For Appetizer, we had to get the Foie Gras because we are in Paris, which is a French delicacy. Portion was very generous and it paired with an orange/citrusy sweet marmalade, which offset the strong flavor of Foie Gras. The crispy brick crab reminds me of a Indian samosa but stuffed with crab filling - very good! My fav was the Escargots, traditionally version. It was served out of the shell in a puff pastry that almost taste like a pop over. It was so unique and delicious. For Entrée, I had the duck breasts with sweet & sour sauce that was addictingly good. My sister had the lamb shoulder. It was fall-off the bone tender meat. I didn't like the dessert. The apple torte was very tangy/sour. The ice-cream helped but it wasn't what I had expected. Service was excellent!

Yelp
We ate a fabulous meal at Le Hide. A small cafe off Av. Mac-Mahon, Le Hide has a full menu of classic French dishes done their own way. People are unlikely to just stumble upon the location and the tables are usually filled. Beautifully presented, the dishes were just a tasty. They have a fixed menu or an a la carte options. Enjoy!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! We are staying at a nearby hotel and on our first walk we bumped into it. It was closed but it caught my eye. Thankfully I made reservations for the same night and I was not disappointed! In fact we are thinking of booking this place for another night! Delicious food, friendly staff French vibes!

Yelp
I've tried this place twice now and have been impressed by the quality of the food and service both times! They also have a wonderfully curated French wine list with a region map. It is a quaint restaurant with less than ten tables. I would recommend a reservation or to arrive right as it opens to get a seat. Be prepared to spend 2 plus hrs on dinner here, trust me it's worth it.

Yelp
The interior was very snug. Staff was super friendly but service was a tad slow. Every dish was good but nothing was exceptional. Maybe we hyped ourselves a tad too much?

Yelp
Great food. We arrived close to closing and they managed to fit us in. The staff was very good and the four of us all enjoyed our food.

Yelp
A delicious hidden gem close to the Arc de Triomphe. The quality is Michelin-worthy at reasonable prices. Staff so friendly and helpful. It's a tiny restaurant so recommend a reservation so you don't miss out.

Yelp
My mom and I had a lovely dinner at Le Hide last week. The staff did not speak much English and unfortunately we do not speak much French, but the service could not have been friendlier. I had a starter, entree, and dessert - each item was better than the next! My dessert was some sort of chocolate mousse with flaky dough and it was amazing. My mom loved her duck and said this was the best meal she had the entire week we were in Paris. I'd highly recommend Le Hide!

Yelp
The restaurant had a cozy ambience excellent service and fabulous food. Totally recommend.

Yelp
What a find! We passed this restaurant on our way back to the hotel and noticed how packed it was on a weeknight so we dropped in. You need a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us and the wait was worth it. The two waitresses were wonderful and attentive, and the food was outstanding! Chef Hide is cooking and keeps his eye on his customers. This was one of our best meals in Paris.

Yelp
This place is near the Arc de Triomphe. I chose it because of other Yelp reviews, but it was a good choice. We arrived at about 9, with no reservations. It sits on a side street that's not very busy, and the place was full when we got there. Waited about 15 mins for a table for 4, and we were all impressed. Try the roasted beef, or the duck. We ordered like 7 desserts and they were all worth it. Definitely a good stop to eat dinner. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Great little, tucked away spot in Paris. Very authentic French food with wonderful service and attention to detail. Small-ish and quaint, not too fancy but just right. Loved and will go again!

Yelp
This place was solid, pretty good for the price. Both of our entrees were very good. The fois gras thing was good, but beware that it's very traditional. I liked it but my partner did not... "advanced". Overall, good food, fun location, good service, and for sure there's some English spoken here and they make you feel welcome (which depending on your Parisian experiences, won't be the case everywhere you go). Cheers!

Yelp
Service was great with zero complaint considering their there no tables available but they welcomed us with open arms. The venue is small with no outside service. I was looking forward to an outstanding steak after several traditional Parisian dishes but was sadly disappointed with my ribeye steak. The ribeye steak, which was a 12€ upgrade was rough and horrible cut for the price which bland presentation for the price. The partner I dined with also complained the scallops were not up to par with previous restaurants we had dined at while in Paris. Out of the 3 meals we had in Paris, this was our least favorite.

India W.

Yelp
The service was horrible, and the food was inedible. Even though I could not physically cut or chew my duck, they made us pay for the dish.
google avatar

Jojo S.

Yelp
Beautiful menu, wonderful food and excellent service! Try the Syrah!!! The only thing better than the amazing food is the warm, sweet hospitality from the staff! My favorite restaurant in Paris!

Yelp
Wow very good - Make reservations if you can. Had the monkfish and it was delicious. Very good service - spoke English

Yelp
Wish I could give it 4.5 stars. Food and ambiance fantastic! Service was super lacking. Still would definitely recommend

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant in Paris. We came here on a whim searching for a casual, comfortable place to get dinner on a Monday night - let me tell you, Le Hide delivered. This is French-Japanese fusion, but don't let that throw you - the menu is 80% French to 20% Japanese. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the beef bourguignon, scallop salad, pate, and escargot. Their wine list is just long enough to ensure that you find something you like without being overwhelming. And the environment is quiet and homey. We weren't planning to repeat any restaurants while in Paris but wound up liking it so much we came back on our last night. The food was better than any of the Michelin-starred places we tried, and we can't wait to come back next time we're in Paris.

Yelp
I come here every time when I come to Paris. It's my fav restaurant. Everything was good and the service was pretty welcoming. If someone can only eat one meal in paris, this would be the place I recommend!

Yelp
My 1000th review should be a high note. The honor goes to Le Hide. I researched and researched restaurants in Paris before my trip. I chose Le Hide because I found it fascinating that Japanese chefs go to Paris to establish not Japanese restaurants, but classic French. Le Hide had a unique and approachable menu. To start, we had the escargot in brioche and the special soup of the day - pumpkin with foie gras. For entrees, we had the beef stew and duck. They gave us an extra portion mashed potatoes. For dessert, we had the poached pear and creme brûlée. Everything was delicious and decadent; perfect execution. Highly recommend! Make a reservation!

Yelp
Best meal in Paris! We all shared our dishes, crawfish ravioli and crab appetizer were amazing. Also had mushroom and food gras with fig sauce. Monkfish, Scallops and Beef were all winners. Add the desserts for 38€ and it was the best!!

Tricia B.

Yelp
Lovely neighborhood restaurant. The food and service were very good but don't be in a hurry, it's a meal to be savored. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, prefect for a romantic dinner.

Yelp
Simply an amazing hidden gem near the Arc du Triumph. Great French fare, wine and that cozy social ambiance that I've missed for several years now. As for a recommendation? Just go...if you can get in. Not many tables to choose from.

Yelp
Extremely good food and affordable prize. The service is on the standard. A decent place if u wanna have a drink with your friends

Yelp
You know when you see all the amazing reviews and then like a few bad ones you tell yourself the bad ones must be wrong and to just focus on the good ones? Yea, feel free to believe the bad ones on this one. We arrived precisely for our 7pm reservation made two weeks in advance. We were seated right away at whatever table was available. The place was full with one table remaining (or so we thought). Took the waitress 30min just to take our order. Then three more couples showed up and somehow they managed to seat them - one practically in our lap. Literally they pushed our table (wo even asking us) to another table and then pushed another table to us and took the chair that all our stuff was on. Okay cool. 40more min for the apps. My fois gras was tasty but oily, my husband's escargot was just three snails in a piece of bread with a puddle of oil (or maybe it was butter...who knows). This btw were the star dishes of the night. The duck my husband had as an entree was inedible, he couldn't even cut through it. My scallops were okay, just basic, nothing special. The dessert was a poached pear drowned in bad chocolate syrup. Would not recommend. All in all the only reason this place got three stars and not one is because the apps were decent. Would not come back.

Yelp
For our first dinner in Paris we stopped in at Le Hide. The staff was super, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was intimate. As a vegetarian, there was no main course option for me on the menu but the combination of the mushroom starter dish with their bread basket made for a hearty meal. My husband very much enjoyed his steak. The highlight for me was the attentiveness and positive demeanor of the servers who checked in regularly with us to make it a really delightful experience.

Yelp
Really glad we were able to get a booking at this restaurant as it was in walking distance from our hotel and the reviews were solid across the board. For the meal, we went with the 3 course pre fixe and I started with the absolute highlight, a generous portion of pan fried foie gras that might have been one of the best dishes I've ever had. For my.main course I had the duck a l'orange which I enjoyed with the mashed potatoes, but the endives were a bit too bitter and overcooked. The service was wonderful as was the wine, but it only fell short in two areas: we weren't seated until 30 minutes past our booking so we crammed under the awning outside since it was raining. The second, was the desserts, neither of which we overly enjoyed including the apple tart which was more of an apple chutney.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. A treat to eat here. The ambiance in this very small establishment was wonderful.

Yelp
A small restaurant with big taste! Great service, very friendly. Food was varied and excellent.

Yelp
Best restaurant ever. World class service and best food we had in 6 days here in Paris. From starters to dessert. 100 stars. Best place we've been to so far!

Yelp
The Hide is a very small out of the way restaurant. But its allure is the Menue. It seats about 20 at a time. When seated and the menu arrives, begins the gourmet indulgencies. I had the entrecôte. 350 gm of Rib Eye. It was a little thin compared to the Colorado Rib Eyes to which I am accustomed. I ordered it "Pittsburg style". That the chef accommodated perfectly. Along with puréed potatoes and green beans...Select cheeses were the perfect dessert. A bottle of Bordeaux capped a perfect dining experience.

Yelp
Waiter was rude and rush us and I was with my 12 year old daughter. We minded our own business and just wanted to enjoy the food.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in Paris. HANDS DOWN. Intimate, Delicious, Welcoming.. Few of the adjectives to describe a remarkable place such as Le Hide. Tucked right near Champs Elysses, this restaurant is not touristy or gimicky at all and the staff speaks really good English! For 32 euros, you can get two courses. For the quality of the ingredients and overall presentation of the meal, this is quite worth it! I highly suggest getting the crepe with duck confit or escargot dish! The way they cook their escargot isn't like your regular French restaurant. They season it just like a burger and give it a juicy texture! When it comes to main courses, I highly suggest one of their steak choices! I am not a huge meat eater, but their steak is one of the best. Pair that wish their mashed potatoes (that are not super creamy like the US), you are in FOR A TREAT! My overall experience at this restaurant was DIVINE and I highly suggest for people to make reservations a day in advance. If you do walk in, you should go after 9 or 10 because they seemed less busy on a Saturday night at 10 when I came in!

Yelp
Simply Superb. Hideo is a Japanese gourmet chef who does French food with a Japanese refinement. I was lucky in that I was able to get seated without having to have made a reservation. Timed it right (Early evening). They have an awesome prix fixe menu with lots of choices. I had a lobster bisque followed by a Pan Fried Monkfish for 26 EUR. Everything tasted just perfect and I was treated reasonably well even without having purchased any wine. Perfectly happy to take on the French evening.

Yelp
Thanks yelpers!! Among all the places to eat im happy to see the yelp community supports local/non chain! We had a really nice time here on a Sat night (make resos!! Even if its the night of instead of walking in... this is a SUPER tiny place). Maybe 25 seats max? We called at 7 for an 8pm reso for 2... while we were there they must have turned away 4-5 different walk ins. -talk about making use of the space they have! Le Hide is off the Arc de Triomphe.. about 10 min walk on a side arm of the circle (either uber or take the stroll or metro near the ARC).. A beautiful intimate restaurant pumping out some fantastic seasonal foods. Chef makes many remarkable dishes... so many options for this little place! We opted for starter+ main plate:32 euro I had: -the sous vide duck crepe- woodsy, creamy, velvet like texture. -scallops perfectly seared with different seasonal radish, greens, and a lovely cream sauce. Hubs: -black truffle lobster bisque soup -beef "stew" on creamy risotto. Ok this is not your mamas stew... it was a lovey elevated meat dish with delicious hearty veggies over this amazing brown red-wine like sauce. Wine: a nice bordeaux enough for 2 glasses each (sorry forgot the metric conversion for 1/2 crafe-ish) Overall one of our best meals here!! The service was friendly... they did speak english and had american menu translations. We had 0 room for dessert... im sure that would have been fabulous also! Bravo! Well done Le Hide! Try to make it on your list during your stay in Paris

Yelp
A must do local experience ! We have been there twice ! Fabulous experience . Great service , menu , and wine .

Yelp
It was our first night in Paris and we wanted to Celebrate a Birthday in a Special Way. We heard that this place had great Foie Gras. We were told right. It was delicious. One ordered it fried in Butter which I thought was a bit of an overkill but it was delicious. The restaurant was small and we were encouraged to arrive early. By the time we were done dining, every seat was filled and there was a line. Everyone was pleased with their choices. I would love to return to Paris soon & there are so many great restaurants to visit but for sure this one is worth a second trip.
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
Went here for the last night of our Paris leg of our honeymoon. Had fantastic French wine to choose from, I had the veal and my wife had the beef stew. Both were amazing but the stew was the highlight of the night. Desserts were new takes on classic recipes and we couldn't have been happier. Thanks to them for making our night memorable.
google avatar

Yelp
Figured we walk by since our hotel was close. We tried but there was nothing available and we were very kindly turned away. We stood outside wondering where we'd turn to next when the door opened and the woman said she could get us a table. We took it. Dinner was so amazing. Pot Roast... The flavor, the spice the taste was like nothing I've had before. Fork tender, you touched it, it fell apart but in a way that you wanted to study the structure of the meat. The risotto it was plated with was a perfect addition to the plate. We tried to book a table for the following night but that is the night they're closed so we booked it for the following night. I'd eat there every night if I stayed longer in Paris!

Yelp
Great food with an awesome chef that takes cooking seriously! The staff is amazing and has been here for years.

Yelp
This little restaurant is tucked into a wall, it is a corner hideaway. But the food and service here speak loudly. Everything we had was first rate and super delicious. Menu is traditional French, and you order by choosing from options on a three course dinner or two courses if you prefer. I advise taking the three course option. My wife started with a crab brick, followed by the pan fried and sauced scallops. Then, for dessert, she had a plate, which was a cup of creamy espresso, a tiny glass of cognac, and a dollop of sherbet. I started with a fricassee of mushrooms in sauce. From there, I had a beef stew, which was presented in an unusual way on a plate instead of a bowl. The beef being of one piece, which was fork tender. With carrots and sauce. Delicious! Finally, I had a poached, pear, smothered in a thick cool, chocolate sauce, with vanilla ice cream. One of the best desserts I have eaten ever! We shared a bottle of white wine. Very good. And the whole thing was reasonably priced compared to the US. The service was relaxed, Parisian style. Efficient.

Yelp
Tiny gem of a place. Fabulous good, great service and staff. Chill vibe with locals mixed with tourists. Really special and again amazing food- small menu but fab.

Yelp
My experience as well as my family's (5 of us) was outstanding at Le Hide. We stopped by the Arc Triomphe and then made our was for dinner on our fist night in Paris to Le Hide. The ambiance, the service and the food were all amazing. I can honestly say this was the BEST meal I have ever ( I ordered the scallops). We live in a US city known for its food so that is saying a lot. The other 4 people in my family felt the same about their steaks and lamb. The escargot and desserts were to die for as well.

Loren L.

Yelp
I have very bad experience with the service. They don't respect reservation. We arrived late because my kid has some allergy reaction on the way and we detoured back to our hotel for medicine, and we were also very far from the restaurant. Our reservation was at 7:00 and we arrived at 7:25. The hostess told us our table is given to someone else, because we are not on time. We told her the reason, but she said the restaurant is full, and we can come back at 8:30, I told her we will because we don't want to change our plan as last minute with two young kids. When we came at 8:10 to check. She send us away because the restaurant is full. I told her why they don't honor our reservation at 8:30? She can't answer. I saw many reviews said the food is good for the price. I think it might be a good restaurants for people who cannot afford better service.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was perfect as were our meals. This is a top-notch restaurant with a chef who is both creative and attentive to every detail. The sauces and seasonings were some of the best we've ever tasted. Delicious!!

Michele D.

Yelp
This was an unexpected and charming surprise. We were staying in a hotel just a few doors away and, out of convenience, we decided to try it. The wait staff, perhaps the owners, were so delightful. My friend and I both had the prix fix of a starter, main course and dessert. We ordered different dishes and shared. Everything was so delicious. I highly recommend Le Hide.
google avatar

Tanya H.

Yelp
Definitely coming back!! My mom also loved this place. Slow but caring service, and I even appreciate the slowness because it seems that the main chef who owns the place makes the dishes himself: that's such dedication and hard work, especially with how full the place is and he seems to be 50-60. You can see him making the dishes. beautiful dishes with so much individual care, they were each beautifully balanced flavors, good portions, and absolutely delicious: best meal I've had in Paris so far. Slightly more expensive than other bistros but so worth it. When we left, he even looked up from his work to wave and say goodbye with a warm smile. Such love for his own work! You must go here!

Yelp
So delighted that we were able to dine at this charming restaurant. We began our experience by being greeted warmly. My husband had the gnocchi and the monkfish and I had escargot and scallops. The food was delicious. We noticed many people had to be turned away because they did not have reservations. We really enjoyed Le Hide.
