Montreal’s Best Greek Restaurants | Eater Montreal

"When it comes to the picturesque, older-school restaurants that line Duluth, Jardin de Panos stands out; open in 1978, it’s also the first restaurant to have opened on the street — period. A Greek BYOW, its affordable food and attractive enclosed courtyard make it a consistently popular bet." - JP Karwacki

"A jaunt to Jardin de Panos is like muscle memory for a lot of Montrealers. Generous plates and a crackling summer courtyard are the hallmarks of this four-decade-old Greek restaurant." - Holly Tousignant

We were excited to have dinner here but it was honestly disappointing. The atmosphere is beautiful but it was very loud, the service took a very long time, and when our food finally did arrive it was just ok. There was nothing wrong with it, just nothing crazy or exciting unlike all the other food we’ve tried in Montreal so far. Kind of a bummer. We opted to go elsewhere for dessert.

Google
A classic Greek restaurant funded in 1979 . Very cold lamb was served and it was disappointing . Very slow service and they didn't care that much. Reasonable price /quality ratio. Bring your own wine.

Giorgio Russo

Google
Very good. Honest food, no alcohol but you can bring your wine. Service was amazing, our server, tall young guy, green eyes , blond, was all over and always smiling. Thanks

Jean-Nicolas Gosselin

Google
Food was good overall, but chicken skewers were meh. Wonderful service and great atmosphere at this BYOB/BYOW restaurant. Calamari portion is on the smaller side for a main course.

Google
I am vegetarian and they do have a few veggie options. But I took a risk and ordered Salmon. It was well done cooked, melted on my mouth, and leave me enough room for dessert-I tried at home- Don’t forget to take your own wine 🍷 Tables placed pack to pack.

Google
Wonderful night ! Excellent food and great service . One issue don’t bother making a reservation as they do not respect it. They let people off the street take a table before you? I was asked to wait outside and as I went outside the stairs are uneven and I fell and hurt my ankle and elbow! However 40 minutes later we got a table and it was really great 👍 if they can respect a reservation I would go back but. It after this.

Google
great service, warm and cosy athmosphere, wonderful old-style building with french windows and wooden details in the interier. A spacy garden covered by the roof so you can seat there even during the rain. Some authentic greek dishes in menu. Calamari and tzatziki were just perfect, no difference from the ones we tasted in Greece. Moussaka was tasty but not exactly the same as in Greece, though I anyway enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Jessica

Google
Fantastic atmosphere and food, good pricing and authentic flavour, the patio seating wasn't very comfortable and was a little cramped but the ambiance more than made up for it.

Yelp
Friends who love to walk in Plateau City Walk can stop by this Greek restaurant, family style ~ lunch and special entrees directly with soup Bread and dessert Cost-effective! The calamari rings are fresh, whole squid The meat and seafood are FRESH! Dinner reservations are required. Lunch is a little more accommodating and there are still outdoor spots available. Greek yogurt!!! Crazy recommended!!! It's seasoned with gherkins, celery, carrots, and then it's like a cream cheese without the sugar but with a light flavor!

Yelp
This is an exceptional restaurant with the best Greek cuisine. I was brought here by my friends who live in Montreal, and I knew they would take me to the best. This really was. When you walk up, there is a pergola area with seating area in front of the restaurant, but, once inside, there are several elegant indoor dining rooms as well as a large garden patio in the back which is partly covered. The garden area is where we chose to dine, and it was beautiful with lots of plants and flowers to provide a pleasant ambience. Some people were dressed up and others came casual. This is one of the few restaurants where you can bring your own wine. I had never heard of that. They do offer a variety of drinks, water and coffee, etc. The menu has everything from steak, chicken, seafood and vegetarian, along with desserts. We were there for lunch, and ordered the lunch special which includes a soup or salad as a starter, the main course, plus a selection of desserts. I went twice to this restaurant. The first time I ordered the chicken kebab and shrimp. The second time I ordered a steak. Both times the food was absolutely delicious. The lentil soup was wonderful. The salads were very fresh and delightful. The desserts... One day I had vanilla ice cream with "sour cherries", and the second time I had baklava... Both were amazing! The service was impeccable, friendly, and prompt. All the staff and our servers were great to work with, and fully bilingual. That was a plus for me as I've had difficulty with French even though I am fluent in Spanish and know enough Portuguese to get along in Brazil. I wish we had one of these restaurants back home in S. Texas! I fully enjoyed the restaurant in every way and believe you will too. I will certainly go back when I return to Montreal.

Yelp

Yelp
My uncle likes to frequent Le Jardin de Panos for big family gatherings but this was my first time. It's a BYOW Greek restaurant that's across the street from Khyber Pass Restaurant. We dropped in on a Tuesday (around 12:30pm). There's two large terrasses. Service is lacklustre. The menu is split into appetizers, main dishes and desserts. They have a lunch special (from 11:30am to 3:00pm) where you get get an appetizer, dessert and drink included with your main dish. - Bread - Fried squid ($12.00) - small portion of calamari. Standard fare. Skip it. - Pikilia ($20.00) - the baba ghanoush and taramas (Greek fish roe) were solid. - Grilled haloumi cheese ($16.00) - two pieces of haloumi. Okay but not memorable. Another skip. - Lentil soup - tasty. Enjoyed this more than the cream of pepper soup. - Cream of pepper soup - light but less flavourful. - Grilled lamb chops ($28.00) - cooked to our requested medium rare. The roasted potatoes were okay but not crispy enough. The salad was boring and limp; didn't even finish half. - 2 Souvlaki stick plate (pork) ($19.00) - pork souvlaki was overcooked. - Steak filet ($34.00) - steak was the second best of the meats, mostly due to the fact it wasn't overcooked. Nothing memorable about the taste. - Salmon filet ($25.00) - salmon was a touch overcooked. - Shish kebob ($20.00) - Baklava - not too sweet. - Chocolate delight - was told it was light and creamy. - Galactobouriko - not too sweet. - Karidopita - walnut cake. This was good. - Coffee - Tea Run of the mill food at LJDP. Can't say I'd come back anytime soon.

Yelp
Fantastic spot for lunch on a Sunday in August. We each had Greek Salads which were huge and served with very fresh vegetables including a large portion of ripe tomatoes. It was very busy. Our server was prompt and friendly. This is a BYOB and most people know to bring their own wine. (We did not know). There is a shop about a block away that sells wine so now you know!
google avatar

Susan K.

Yelp
This is a large restaurant, BYOB, does not take reservations but has a huge outdoor terrace in back (can be covered in winter). Waiter naturally recommended the most expensive items in the menu but we ordered what we wanted! We started with the large appetizer plate which we barely made a dent in. Everybody enjoyed what they ordered: moussaka, lamb chops & chicken brochette. Tried to sell ice cream but we needed to walk some of the food off before doing dessert!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here late on a Sunday evening. Nice outdoor patio in the back but they sat us in the corner and the service was terrible. We had to get up and ask someone to take our order. Then we were pretty much ignored for the rest of the dinner. We kept having to flag people down to get service. Food was just okay. The chicken and pork skewers had an odd dressing and the bread was stale. Salad didn't come with feta and they don't serve pita - two Greek staples! Very disappointed.

Yelp
I'm only giving it 2 stars because the fried calamari was somewhat decent. This isn't Greek food. I've had better Greek food at Jimmy The Greek. There was a review someone left on google that said this was "the best" Greek food in Montreal. This is far from "best". I think he meant, this was the best Greek food within a 1km radius. This was terrible. I would rather drive to Pantheon in Danforth, Toronto then walk here. What a joke. They don't even have classic dishes. The best part is that it came out to $70 and we ordered an app and 2 dinners and i'm still starving after eating that "food". It tastes frozen. The best part is that we waited 40 minutes for the main course and the fact it was 1 grade over dog food, is a joke. I tipped the waiter well because I felt bad honestly. NEXT PLEASE!

Yelp
Came for a lunch date and was surprised to see it was actually pretty busy. It's a BYOW so that's always a positive thing. Service was a bit slow the waiter wasn't around it was hard to get a hold of him. Before we left we noticed that our food came with soup or dessert but he failed to mention that so we took the cake to go and had to pay $2 on top to take it with us and it was just a little square of something not very appetizing. Best part was our Pakilia which was a little Platter of mixed dips and veggies and feta.

Yelp
Great food, great location and great atmosphere. Staff are very friendly, the terasse is beautiful and it's a brinf your own wine! My favorite dish is the chicken brochette with shrimp, highly recommend!

Helen B.

Yelp
Came here last year and the service was great. The servers were full of energy and very charismatic. The food was very tasty, and the overall ambiance was great. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. You can bring your own alcohol!

R M.

Yelp
Peter and Eva!! Amazing!! Have such great experiences. Such good Greek good. And they are so much fun.

Meredith W.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious, with a beautiful courtyard. When I arrived around 6:30pm on a Thursday, there was almost no wait (less than 10 minutes) for courtyard seating, even though it was full the entire time I was there. I had the artichokes, as well as the calamari and shrimp, which all were the perfect companion for the rose I brought. If I lived here, I'd definitely be a regular.
google avatar

Alex J.

Yelp
Lamb tasted fine. Scallop was bland but serviceable taste wise. The mixed appetizer platter tasted below average. The dolmas were super soggy and almost tasteless. 2.5 star food taste wise but my wife got sick and even my rather well fortified intestinal trek (I survived Indian and Thai street foods with no mishaps) complained. I also saw two things that suggested to me our experiences were not outliers. Table next to us returned a soup and other diners left the soups almost untouched. I also saw a few tables with no food at all and were just drinking wine and/or tea. I find the decor rather outdated and lazy but it seems to be a popular spot for local old people to gather for a chat.

Yelp
Came here on a date with my grilfriend. The food was really good and the terrace is beautiful. The best came first. The lentil soup was delicious. We each ate it with a bit of bread. It was such a delicious experience. Then came the chicken brochette with shrimps. It was so damn good and overflowing. Those diahes were big. Their side salad was also very good. The fried calamari were ok. A bit flavourless. I think that was the least fun part of the meal. Everything else was enjoyable and cozy. The service was very polite and considerate. I want to come here to have more of that soup and try other dishes.
google avatar

Yelp
As an English speaking patron there were no menus to make a decent selection. Had to resort to Yelp for the limited photos available. It's supposed to be a recommendable place but I have no patience for slow service. Food must be good here and will not say anything negative about that. Oh, and the Wifi sucks.
google avatar

Cody R.

Yelp
Outside patio is beatiful to sit, relax and have a good meal! Very reasonbly priced with good portions. Fried calamari app was a delicous starter. Went with the filet mignon and shrimp which was cooked to perfect with tons of flavor. Bacon was wrapped around the filet pieces which was a nice touch. Its byob/wine which is also very nice.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Traditionally decorated BYOW with fresh Mediterranean fare. Calamari were perfectly cooked and fresh bread was in abundance (I'm big on carbs). The steak with shrimp was standard, nice portion size however lightly spiced, could have used more OUMF on the meat but other than that it was a hit. Salmon wasn't anything fantastic, could have used a dill butter sauce or some other form of added flavor, but the actual cook (and even picture perfect grill marks) did not go unnoticed. Potatoes are salty but help round the lacking of other big flavors in the dish. Same goes for the salad which would be better off with less dressing. Overall a great place to grab fresh food for a decent price + added bonus of BYOW.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Long wait but worth it! Not to mention it's also BYOW ;) Great for groups or dates. There is a beautiful garden in the back. The plates are plenty and will leave you full and satisfied! Definitely try the baklava cheesecake if you have room for it.

Yelp
1. The place is very nice 2. The main dishes were great: calamari and salmon 3. They have very good soups: lentil snd spinach creme 4: Best time to go is between 1 and 4 PM on weekends when they have a special offer: 20$ per pers with 3 courses. 5. The waiter was quite loud and too hurried 6. The mix of their entries is not excellent because of the spinach pastry, cold and sleezy

Aya A.

Yelp
We waited for two hours in line, and one hour for the food after ordering. We were happy to wait as we heard good things about the restaurant. Food was extremely basic, got the bacon wrapped filet done medium but it came well done. The two souvlaki plate was also mediocre. Seasoning was essentially salt and pepper with some citrus. We got calimari as an appetizer but it never came, we were asked after we had our mains if we still wanted it 2 hours later, we said no. Overall kitchen seems extremely unorganized. Our server was very kind. We would not come back as there is always a huge wait and the food is quite expensive for such an average meal. Nothing special here.

Yelp
The BEST $60 I have ever spent!!! I had read many reviews about Au Pied Du Cochon, across the street, and was prepared to go experience some authentic French cuisine...but then we saw the line in front of Jardin de Panos. Authentic Greek food at a reasonable price? We decided to give it a try. For starters, we had the dolmades which were covered in a rich, creamy lemon sauce- Superb! I had the lamb chops for my entree and my boyfriend had the filet mignon. Both were perfectly cooked to order and delectably seasoned. For dessert, we shared the baklava and galaktoboureko. Wow, SO rich and SO very good ( not to mention, they were only $2.95 each). Overall, a great experience!
google avatar

Matthew A.

Yelp
Le Jardin de Panos is yet another very popular "bring your own wine" restaurant on the plateau. Greek menu, I love sitting outside in the garden terrace. There is this huge really old tree in the garden which makes it feel woodsy. The tables are very crowded together, but it is still enjoyable. No smoking even on the terrace. I enjoy the chicken brochette (kabob) which comes with roasted potatoes. We came in about 9:00 and the place was still packed. Our waiter was a bit rushed and pressed us for a fast order. We took out time and enjoyed a very nice meal. Abt. $15pp which included tax and tip.
google avatar

Sarah R.

Yelp
I loved the outdoor courtyard setting, and the food was quite good! Our visit started somewhat poorly with the waiter telling us not to bother speaking in French and that the only fish they had was salmon and, when clarifying, that included shrimp. This was of course not true. Once the owner began serving us, things significantly improved! We enjoyed the spanokopita and tzatziki as appetizers. As others have said, there was no pita served with the tzatziki. I had the chicken brochette and shrimp dish. Everything was really well cooked and flavoured and, with rice, potatoes, and salad, there was lots of food! We stayed for quite a while to finish our wine and did not feel rushed. The restaurant was quite busy compared to the other greek place on Duluth, which is a good sign. Give it a try!
google avatar

Yelp
Best greek food i know fresh tasty :) Filet mignon shrimp brochette is the best Taramosalata is amazing so is the pekilia
google avatar

Katerina B.

Yelp
This restaurant is never empty and you'll know why once you've tasted their food. I must say I was not a big fan of Greek cuisine until I had my first dinner at Le Jardin de Panos. My favorite is lamb cutlets, served with baked potatoes and fresh salad. I must tell you it's simply delicious. It gets busy after 18:00 and especially in summer when they open their terrace, sometimes you may have to wait to be seated, but trust me it's worth the wait. This restaurant is perfect for family dinners, romantic dates, dinners with friends, moreover, it's BYOB (bring your own bottle) and the prices are surprisingly low.
google avatar

Rob B.

Yelp
Good ambiance. I had the calamari and filet mignon. Yummy... Service was fast and friendly. The baklava was amazing. The coffee was also top notch. Overall a great experience. BYOW, with an SAQ around the corner...

Anna N.

Yelp
Great BYOB place. The food is delicious and the service was great. Our server even let us try a dessert for free in case we didn't like it since it was a very traditional Greek dessert. Only reason I'm giving 4/5 and not 5/5 is because the plating could be a bit better in relative to the price. The taste is there, but the plating is extremely simple
google avatar

Mayte P.

Yelp
Traditional Greek ambiance and byow. Le Jardin has always been a staple of the St. Denis area. It's always packed and always full of people having a good time. I always enjoy myself except this most recent visit. A large party of mostly women and people of the LGBTQ community were having a birthday celebration on the top floor and our waiter, who was serving them as well kept making remarks about the group to my party, not understanding them, and referring to himself as 'at least I'm normal'. I find this kind of talk about customers to be inappropriate and unprofessional. His attempt to chat and connect with customers was not appreciated in my books.
google avatar

Daniel C.

Yelp
Reading the many reviews for this restaurant perhaps the owners of this place should thank the restaurant across the street for requiring reservations that would even make the Pope's secretary blush. Having said that this place proved to be a wonderful alternative despite my intimate familiarity with Greek food in Astoria, Queens. The decor and atmosphere adequately provides a mutually exclusive place for couples looking for a romantic meal and people with children looking for a family meal. Prompt service and seating were a plus. I noticed that it was a BYOB establishment and sometimes that makes the dining experience more comfortable because the interaction with the waiter takes out that long recitation of the wine menu. We had the chicken souvlaki and scallops. It has been a while since I have been to Canada but has salad been always included in meals? I don't complain since it negates the need to order a salad separately. My reference point for Greek/Cypriot food are the various restaurants in New York's Greek enclave so naturally we couldn't but help compare. The chicken was tender and not that block of tough meat that sometimes souvlaki can become. The portions were generous and the scallops were cooked just right. The sides added that perfect touch. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves, ate a wonderfully cooked meal and soaked in the ambiance (not everyday that I hear French spoken more thank Greek at a Greek restaurant). The owner added a nice touch by giving my daughter a piece of chocolate on our way out. Even if the place across the street has a table, this place is worth a visit in its own right.
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
We visited this restaurant on our first night in Montréal and fell in love with it instantly. The terrace was beautiful--it was quite romantic in the evening! The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I would strongly recommend the Shish Kebab. I was expecting an average dish since it's so common but it really surprised me!
google avatar

Ara K.

Yelp
Served ice cold filet mignon brochette after 45 minute wait. Server says must speak to manager first before removing it from bill. Never will I step foot in this place again which needs a major cleanup and upgrade to it's dated decor dating back to the seventies. Pass.
google avatar

Yelp
Most important thing to know here is: TAKE YOUR OWN WINE. They do not have any wine, or beer, or any sort of alcoholic beverage. So if you don't want to be washing down your amazing Quebecois/Greek cuisine with a diet sprite, buy a nice bottle and carry it with you. Also, the convenience store across the street has vinegar for wine and its dear. Next, there will be a line outside. It took me nearly an hour to get in, in the Montreal winter. Well worth it for a good meal. Right past that little hurdle, the food is amazing. Large hearty portions of whatever you order; I had the lamb and it was fantastic. The bread they serve it with is fresh and fluffy like a pastry, and the salad dressing - complimentary salad - was just the best dressing I've ever tried. So truth is I went here after I got turned away from Au Pied Couchon (across the street), which some people will claim is the best restaurant in Montreal and hence obviously requires reservations six years in advance (and don't try to claim you're from their courteous neighbour in the south, it makes things worse). Fantastic decision in the end.

Alexa E.

Yelp
Our meats were overcooked (charred pieces) AND undercooked (almost raw) when we asked for all meat to be medium-rare. (See pics)
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Personally, I really like Jardin Panos. It's nothing special. It's just your typical Greek restaurant a la Casa Grec or Vieux Duluth. If you're looking for a rustic chicken brochette, filet mignon brochette, with the regular salad and rice, and an entrée of tzaziki, go ahead. Try it! The food is consistently decent. In a world of mystery meat, Panos will deliver average every time;) What I like best about this restaurant is the outdoor Terrasse. It's very cute. Like for a lot of people in the area, this is more of a summer destination rather than a middle of winter spot.
google avatar

Natacha S.

Yelp
I'm rating this place a 3.5* Ambience : this is really what makes the place. The terrace is beautiful and left quite natural. It's different to what you normally see. I took a peek at the indoor seating and it seemed to be quaint aswell. Food : nothing to disappoint. Great grilled brochettes. I ordered the filet mignons brochette and really liked it. Their spanakopita recipe is nice too. Their menu really isn't extensive however. Everything delivers and is tasty, but nothing really had a punch to it. Service : expect to wait before being seated, this place is quite popular. However, once seated, you are very well taken care of. Overall: definitely a go-to place.
google avatar

Eddie F.

Yelp
Best Bring your wine Resto out there The lentil soup is amazing and the calamari is delicious The pikilia plate is awesome The plates are huge, I've been there a few times and I'm never disappointed. The Chicken brochette, Shrimps and Scallops are Great For Dessert the Tiramisu or the Galaktoboureko are to die for All in all it's a great place to eat, especially in the summer with their huge outdoor terrace
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
We were seated on the terrace, even though it was pouring. If I am learning one thing about Montreal, it is the dedication to savoring the out of doors in the short window the city has. The terrace is covered and it works 97% well, we still got a few drops. But it was a nice atmosphere regardless. The service was fast and attentive and our waiter answered our questions well. The boyfriend ordered the shish kabob and I ordered the combination filet mignon and shrimp kabob. The meals came quickly and were more plentiful than I expected. They each come with a green salad, the kabob, rice, and potatoes. The meats were delicious on both plates. I was very impressed with the perfect tenderness of the shrimp. My fliet mignon was almost all medium, as I had ordered it, but one of the three pieces was a tough more done, but it did not ruin the flavor. It was so good that I ate until I was uncomfortably full.
google avatar

Bertha F.

Yelp
The courtyard is such a pleasant setting. So cool and relaxing on a summer day (or evening). Food is traditional and flavourful but inexplicably, they don't serve pita. When I asked about pita, the waitress screamed "OXI!" at me with her eyes. Occasionally, the strong smell of industrial disinfectant would waft by.

Catherine H.

Yelp
took my son for lunch . we had a platter of appetizers with a plate of calamari . great deal at lunch if you order a plate you get a soup, salad your main dish , dessert and coffee for basically the cost of the plate. food was great. i use to live in this area and came when they first opened , same owners years later .. the food is still very good . service excellent and all in all we were very happy. nice terrace as well.
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
Great Greek food! Calamari was fabulous! Brochettes couldn't be beat. Wonderful place for the kids as well. And the price was right being able to BYOB. Best of all, the service was out of this world! We were there on a very busy Saturday night and we couldn't have been treated better! Would go back in a second!!!
google avatar

D. H.

Yelp
Just ate at Le Jardin de Panos with my family and I'm a fan. The host was welcoming and our waiter was charming. We had the filet mignon and lamb kabobs which were very good but could have used a little more searing. The kids menu was greatly priced (the best I've ever seen!) for the amount and quality of food. The dessert were very good and the cappuccino was creamy and hot (which in my book is a good thing). They do not serve liquor but you can go across the street and buy your own beer or wine to go with your meal. All in all it was a fun holiday experience and we look forward to visiting again when we're in town.
google avatar

Michael N.

Yelp
There was a line out the door, and upon watching the other patrons waiting for a table holding their BYO wares, I dispatched myself to get a bottle of beer for the appetizers and a bottle of wine for the mains. Fortunately there was a place nearby. The food did not disappoint. It was certainly home made and turned out to be great. I was short on imagination so we did not stray from the typical order of Dolmas, Artichokes, Calimari for starters and then Lamb for mains. My friends got the Shisk-Kabob which they swear were the best they have had. If you are in Montreal please go, it will not dissapoint.
google avatar

Jilbert N.

Yelp
What poor customer service! My girlfriend and I went on a double date and both ordered the Shish Kebab. Our waiter was prompt and courteous but when our food came we noticed it didn't look quite right. After cutting into it and confirming with the wait staff we realized that it was pork. I asked nicely to have our meals changed as we have dietary restrictions. I apologized for the confusion but argued with the owner/manager after she charged us for four meals when it is clear that shish kebab is usually beef or lamb. Owner was stubborn and not friendly. Will not be going back anytime soon!
google avatar

Orly R.

Yelp
I have no idea how this restaurant got more than 2 stars out of 5! The service was horrible, the food was not edible and the bathrooms were so dirty! The waiter was acting like he was doing us a favour by taking our order and when the food finally arrived thirty minutes later, it was wrong! I would not recommend this restaurant and I will not be returning.
google avatar

Randy H.

Yelp
First time for Goddaughter convocation had everyone raving about the meals of two families. Lots of shish-kabob but I had the terrific Moussaka. Started with appetizer which had everything on the plate!
google avatar

Maria V.

Yelp
Tasty, but very salty! As a fan of Greek food, I'm often skeptical about Greek restaurants in Montreal. More often than not, the food focus more on quantity than quality, without much of an authentic flavour. La Jardin Panos was no exception, yet I was still impressed with it. The restaurant outside is a cute white old building which has touches of charm. The inside? Nothing to brag about. However their terrace is beautiful, while birds chirp quietly around you. I do recommend going mostly during the Spring/Summer time. Now the food.. Keep in mind the restaurant does NOT serve any alcohol beverage. You may bring you own. The menu has a lovely abundant of variety, but not much authenticity. Thinking of sharing a dish? Think twice as they charge you $5.00 to share. Thinking of bringing your own dessert, wait.. Who does that? Well if you do, that's $2.00 extra. We've ordered an appetizer along two main courses, which come with soup or salad, and dessert included. The appetizer was spanakopita. Very tasty, filled with generous amount of spinach, wrapped in a very tough, rubbery dough. Absolutely no crumbly or crusty factor. Main course was a Moussaka, which was a very generous and delicious portion. Served with oven baked potatoes and a salad with a salty dressing. I chose the leek soup to be part of the combo. I'm very convinced that either the chef never tasted it or simply used salt as the base of the soup. Which had no taste at all expect the harsh abundant taste of salt. As for the leeks.. I saw minimal traces of them. I simply couldn't finish the soup. Far too salty! Our waiter was just "Ok", till the end of our meal where he asked me no less than three times if I'm sure I wouldn't want a dessert. With a laughter attached to it. I don't find being pushy at all funny. I will think twice whether I'd want to go back.

Yelp
Awfull!!! Employees smoking next to our table ,noisy grease removal truck at 7 pm friday night. No response when we complained... waiter didn't want to be there ( I understand him) and average overpriced food. There are too many good restaurants in Montreal to waist your money and time here

Yelp
Nice ambience, friendly staff BUT food was disappointing! The fried calamari was served with a wedge of lemon and no sauce! When I requested for some type of sauce/dip the waiter said "what u order is what u get, the chef is very particular on how he serves his food"..... The calamari, rice and salad all lacked flavor and I have no intentions of going back. Pricing def does not do any justice.
