"An oasis of sophistication and serenity surrounded by nature amid the hustle and bustle of the city. Le Jardin boasts a luxurious ambience in the style of a winter garden in which the decor and atmosphere will leave a lasting impression. This is the perfect space to enjoy at any time of day – for breakfast, which includes an interesting choice of teas and coffees to complement the menu, light snacks or lunch and dinner. The cuisine here is based around classic international fare, and is always showcased by meticulously prepared dishes. One example is the roasted sea bass which is served on a bed of lightly caramelised asparagus and heart of palm and finished with a vermouth emulsion – a combination that will leave a lasting impression on the palate. There’s also a kosher menu (prior booking required), and make sure you save space for Le Jardin’s desserts, which are an absolute must." - Michelin Inspector

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The decor and interior design are absolutely beautiful, creating a stunning atmosphere. The food was excellent, and I truly enjoyed the overall ambiance. I would also like to highlight the outstanding service provided by Ricardo, who had an amazing attitude and ensured our orders were delivered perfectly. Overall, this restaurant has left a lasting impression on me, and I look forward to returning.

We went for lunch at this wonderful hotel. The decor is simply spectacular everywhere you look, truly incredible. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the restaurant Le Jardin. We ordered a carpaccio, which was very good. Then my 90-year-old aunt (an important detail) ordered the duck mixed with rice, which came with two little duck bones. Imagine the risk of choking on that! My dish was a fish called 'Namorado,' which tasted good, but it came with tough mushrooms and what were supposed to be artichokes, but they were extremely hard. I asked for a bit more bread, and it arrived when I had already finished eating. We kindly asked the waiter to let the chef know about the bones, we even showed them to him. The waiter apologized, but do you think anyone came to say sorry? Manager? Chef? No. My aunt demanded two coffees on the house. In places like this, you expect excellence. Sadly, it's not the case. It’s only worth stopping by for a coffee just to enjoy the stunning decor.

Food was mostly good, the shakshuka was bland, but pastries were very good. Service was very spotty, having to call on waiter many times to serve the breads or coffee. But it’s a nice experience at breakfast, and the place is beautifully decorated.

The restaurant is iconic and nicely done. The hotel is a nice one. Receptionists were friendly. But there is a lack of service in matters of table, manners and how to serve. The food was tasteless and extremely boring. Well presented but tasteless. The octopus was okay, but just okay. I won’t return and I recommend maybe if you want to visit the hotel and go to the bar, as restaurant no.

Stayed at the hotel and was seated within few minutes without reservations for lunch although the place was packed. Love the outdoor space. Salad felt like it was pre-prepped as ingredients chilled and it arrived super quick. Filet mignon cooked perfectly. Service is a bit of hit and miss (like asking for salt multiple times) but overall think everyone had best intentions. Love the space so would come back next visit.

Had lunch with my husband at Le Jardin yesterday. It was all beautiful! Ambiance among the luscious greenery of this Old São Paulo historical mansion, now being adapted for a Rosewood Hotels property. The food, service, table furnishings were all of the highest quality. Close attention to detail and perfectly crafted food. Our lunch was initiated by an appetizer of delicately baked hearts of palms with fresh baby greens and baked ripe grape tomatoes. Proceeded lunch with the fresher baked Sea Bass with heart of palms and I had the Shrimp in a special shrimp sauce over rice and other accompaniments. The wine list is also excellent, both by the bottle or by the glass. We ordered two lovely and light weight desserts, the lemon tart artistically crafted in a dome shape, adorned with fine herbs forming tiny flowers on top. It was delicious! My husband had the Pavlova style meringue, filled with beautiful Brazilian tropical fruits. The final note… We ordered two Espressos to end our meal. We are treated with a lovely and dainty silver tray with our espresso cups, perfectly cut cubes of “Baba Au Rum” served in a glass domed plate, accompanied by two tiny elegantly crafted crystal glasses bordered in gold rims with the “M” insignia of the original family that owned this lovely early 1920’s mansion. Our visit to Le Jardin will be remembered for a long time. Bravo! We can only hope that the Rosewood being built in Miami Beach will offer as high standards as of this São Paulo property. Bravo!👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼

In a recent trip to São Paulo I had a fabulous breakfast at Le Jardin, the quality of the food was outstanding . The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was great. I really like this time of the day and the breakfast of Le Jardin was really enjoyable. The Croissant is perfect, I just have a hard time with croissant in Brazil, but this one was very good so were all the other pastries I tried. By the way I loved the immune shot with cúrcuma

This was our second time coming to Le Jardin in Sao Paulo. Our experiences have been wonderful for the most part; great food, wonderful ambiance, and friendly staff. The only reason we're giving 4 stars is because the first time we dined here, there seemed to be several mix-ups. One at the entrance, where our reservation still lead to a 30 minute wait for a table, and one in the kitchen, leading to us having to wait over an hour after our appetizers for our mains. It's worth a mention, but don't let that discourage you from a wonderful evening here as our first experience proved to be rare with our 2nd visit lifting our expectations once again. Located on the ground floor of the Rosewood Hotel, you enter the lobby feeling like you've been transported from Sao Paulo to a secret oasis. You'll be greeted by an attentive and professional staff who seem delighted to see you to your table. Both visits we took a table inside so we cant mention much of the terrace, but it looks spacious and fresh from the large glass windows separating the two dining sections. The ambiance is elegant and sophisticated yet rustic and novel with it's custom seating, soft lighting, private tasting rooms, and walls filled with literature. While sat at your table, you feel well connected, but are still able to keep a private feel. The food is exceptional and we had to get the Flank Steak at both visits. It's caramelized onion sauce and potatoes gratin were simply too irresistible not to order again. We've also had the truffle pizza which was tasty, but must wholeheartedly recommend the Lamb Osobuco. Each bite had us giddy with flavor. The wine pairings were extensive and you'll be hard-pressed to find your perfect pairing to whatever you order. If you are not a wine connoisseur (as we are not), the sommeliers will be happy to recommend a pairing based on your preferences. Perhaps the best way to end the night is to walk a few steps to Rabo di Galo, grab yourself a drink, and listen to some live music, courtesy of a rotating roster of world-class talent. Le Jardin started a bit rocky for us with a long wait time, but stuck the landing at our second visit, earning a full recommendation from us. We look forward to returning soon.
