A fun stop for about 30 min during the tour of the city. I did expect it to be bigger, and it was quite crowded on a Saturday mid-morning. Leaning about the use of the old aqueduct system was interesting and some of the architecture was picturesque. While this garden may be amazing for locals or folks in the region, it was a bit less impressive for myself as somebody from Florida.

Le Jardin Secret is an impressive place, located in the heart of the Medina’s narrow streets. The walk to get there is enjoyable, with many small shops to explore along the way. The garden and its architecture are stunning — truly a feast for the eyes. You can’t get enough of the beauty, and of course, it’s the perfect spot to take hundreds of beautiful pictures.

Tranquil oasis in the heart of Marrakech Medina. A must see and experience attraction. Worth spending time to enjoy the gardens and relax at the rooftop Cafe whilst the Marrakech hustle and bustle continues outside the walls of the gardens. Experience plant 🪴 and tree🌳 species from 5 continents beautifully landscape. Water fountain features prominently. Great history to the location which is well explained together with local artwork. Highly recommend 👌

Le Jardin Secret is a beautiful and well-maintained garden with a wide variety of plants. The garden provides fascinating historical information, accompanied by clear audiovisual displays showcasing the restoration and construction process. It was lovely to see people enjoying their time, relaxing under the shade of orange and lemon trees. I especially appreciated how the garden highlights and gives extra attention to its water and irrigation system, which is both functional and a central part of its charm. Free wifi access and toilet is available for visitor.

Le Jardin Secret in Marrakech is a lush, hidden sanctuary that offers a peaceful retreat from the energetic Medina. The garden is a captivating blend of greenery and traditional Moroccan architecture, creating a harmonious balance between nature and design. The vibrant citrus trees, their branches heavy with ripe fruit, stand out vividly against the manicured grass and aromatic herbs below. Visitors meander through pathways lined with olive trees and exotic plants, with the soft trickle of water features guiding them through the space. One section of the garden displays striking succulents and desert flora, adding a dramatic contrast to the lush greenery nearby. The aloe plants, with their spiky, sculptural leaves, thrive in the arid environment, showcasing the diversity of plant life curated within the garden. The view from inside the riad is equally enchanting, with open windows framing tranquil water basins and delicate aquatic plants swaying gently. Sunlight filters through the wooden beams, casting warm, dappled patterns across the smooth tiled surfaces. The combination of flowing water, natural light, and earthen textures creates a calm and inviting atmosphere. At the heart of the garden lies a shaded pavilion, where visitors gather to rest and take in the serene surroundings. The architecture reflects the elegance of Moroccan design, with ornate green-tiled roofs and carved wooden details that echo the rich cultural heritage of the region. The presence of the garden feels almost timeless, as though stepping into a living work of art. Le Jardin Secret is a space that invites stillness and contemplation. Whether admiring the vibrant citrus groves, the resilient desert plants, or the delicate architecture, every corner offers a new perspective and sense of wonder. This peaceful haven is a must-visit for anyone seeking a quieter, more reflective side of Marrakech.

Very beautiful place to visit and just sit in the garden enjoying the plants and water flowing. The way the water is irrigated into the garden is also pretty neat to learn about if you’re into that. My husband and I enjoyed a stroll through and an escape from the hustle of the alley way and streets.
