"This secret garden lies opposite the small railway station. The welcoming restaurant is the den of a youthful team, led by an ambitious, talented and seasoned chef, Gilles Leininger. In addition to his signature “artichoke” recipe, which won a prize at the 2019 Bocuse d’Or competition, he crafts dishes that keep pace with market availability and his inspiration: roasted scallops, Jerusalem artichoke and truffles; turbot in a Tom Yam sauce; squab and duck foie gras pie… The other secret of this contemporary-styled establishment is its exquisite leafy patio in the back garden." - Michelin Inspector
My Favorite Airbnb in Marrakech: A Turquoise-Tiled Riad Inside the Medina
"Riad El Ayadi is a serene guesthouse located in the heart of Marrakech's medina. It features ample lounge areas, tranquil inner balconies, a turquoise-tiled plunge pool, and beautifully decorated rooms with local textiles and antiquities. Guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast in a Moroccan-themed dining room."
A beautiful oasis in the middle of the city. We had a peaceful walk around, sitting and enjoying the planting. We paid the extra to go up the tower which has great views over the city and is an interesting building to find out about from our guide.

Excellent place to visit whilst not overcrowded. Spent time relaxing in the gardens and admiring the plants and water features. Has several cafes, including a rooftop one with excellent views and photo ops looking down upon the garden.

Especially loved the cafe, craft demos at the entry and gazebo, the art gallery above the cafe that had tables and chairs, and the video room at the far left end of the garden, which was equally hidden!! Not to mention the huge variety of trees, plants, cacti... Well worth the 100 MAD entry.

Wonderful little garden in the middle of the Medina. A very interesting history and a calm oasis to sit, contemplate and take in the atmosphere. Good little cafe to eat & drink with very reasonable prices.

Let's just say it is not very secret as it is in the middle of a busy street in the Medina.
But it doesn't matter as the garden is beautiful. This used to be a ruined Riad which was renovated back in 2016 and they did a marvellous job.
Lots of different tress and flowers to see, as well as an intricate watering system.
There is also a cafe so you can relax and enjoy the peaceful moment there.

The garden was nice and I enjoyed the variety of plants from all over the world. However I don‘t think I would visit it again. It‘s rather small and the price is quite high for tourists.

A beautiful and calm riad—a traditional home built around a central garden. Once you pass the high, windowless walls, you find a peaceful paradise filled with the sound of water and the shade of amazing trees. The water channels and fountains are everywhere, making it so relaxing.
Helpful tips: Don't forget to look up at the detailed painted ceilings and the green-tiled cupola. Also, take a moment to just sit on one of the benches and soak in the calm. A perfect escape from the busy medina.
