"This secret garden lies opposite the small railway station. The welcoming restaurant is the den of a youthful team, led by an ambitious, talented and seasoned chef, Gilles Leininger. In addition to his signature “artichoke” recipe, which won a prize at the 2019 Bocuse d’Or competition, he crafts dishes that keep pace with market availability and his inspiration: roasted scallops, Jerusalem artichoke and truffles; turbot in a Tom Yam sauce; squab and duck foie gras pie… The other secret of this contemporary-styled establishment is its exquisite leafy patio in the back garden." - Michelin Inspector

My Favorite Airbnb in Marrakech: A Turquoise-Tiled Riad Inside the Medina

"Riad El Ayadi is a serene guesthouse located in the heart of Marrakech's medina. It features ample lounge areas, tranquil inner balconies, a turquoise-tiled plunge pool, and beautifully decorated rooms with local textiles and antiquities. Guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast in a Moroccan-themed dining room."

Le Jardin Secret is a peaceful oasis in the heart of Marrakech. The contrast between the busy medina outside and the calm, perfectly designed gardens inside is simply beautiful. The greenery, flowing water, and elegant architecture create a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. Climbing the tower offers lovely views over the rooftops of the medina and the Atlas Mountains in the distance. A hidden gem that’s both soothing and fascinating - well worth a visit!

Le Jardin Secret offers a calm and orderly visit, especially since it was not crowded at the time. Walking through the garden was pleasant, and the space felt well maintained. We spent some time at the snack bar, which was comfortable and provided a nice break during the visit. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and suitable for a short pause from the busy city outside. However, beyond the greenery and quiet setting, there was nothing particularly striking or memorable. It was an enjoyable but fairly simple experience, essentially a garden to walk through and appreciate briefly. In the end, the visit was decent and relaxing, but not especially remarkable or unique.

A beautiful calm garden get away from hustle of people and busy shops. We attended late afternoon. The cafe area was very quiet and we had no wait for the roof top visit. We also were the only ones who were on this visit. Its pretty quick, however the guide was happy to answer any questions. I wouldn't recommend the rooftop visit if it wasn't a clear day.

Pretty and well maintained gardens. It isn’t huge and it seems to be busy most of the time, but it’s still peaceful and a nice break from the business of the streets outside. Paid the extra fee to go up the tower, the guide for this part was very good and gave us lots of info and facts, pointed out sites of interest. I enjoyed seeing things from a bit higher up than the usual roof terraces of other restaurants etc.

A beautiful oasis of calm away from the hustle of the souls just outside. Managed to stay peaceful even though quite busy. Two beautifully planted gardens, each with its own style, with tasteful water features and many places to sit quietly. There was a short queue for tickets all the time we were there but not long to wait. You can buy in advance online to save waiting.

Lovely hidden gem of gardens laid out carefully, inviting exploration providing shade and interest and with all types of plants with little signs with their names and country of origin. Thoughtfully laid out with comfortable seating sited in areas for rest and contemplation. A relaxing and rewarding experience and a terrace for tea, coffee and cakes or snacks.

Don't just come to see the gardens, relax and enjoy tea or coffee in the gardens, or enjoy lunch on the terrace overlooking the gardens. The cafes highlight the riad and allow visitors to slow down and soak up the beauty and detail of the garden without the bustle of the surrounding medina. The Secret Garden is really two gardens. An exotic garden with plants from five continents, and a cafe with non-alcoholic cocktails, tea & coffee, ice creams, bruschettas & sandwiches, and desserts. An Islamic garden surrounding a lovely pavilion with a lovely terrace above with food and drink from Café Menzeh. Throughout both gardens are peaceful places to sit and relax, chat, sketch, or journal. A tour of the tower and it's views of the medina cost extra.

Excellent place to visit whilst not overcrowded. Spent time relaxing in the gardens and admiring the plants and water features. Has several cafes, including a rooftop one with excellent views and photo ops looking down upon the garden.
