I want to start by saying that I love Le Labo products—the scents are not overwhelming and have a very fresh quality. I also have their candles and lotions, and Le Labo is definitely my go-to brand at the moment, so this review is not about the products themselves.
Unfortunately, my recent in-store experience was disappointing. When we walked into the store, there was no acknowledgment from the attendant, despite us being the only customers for at least 10-15 minutes. The attendant remained at the register, keeping to himself, which made the situation a bit awkward. When I tried to ask about the products, he would give short answers without elaborating.
As soon as another customer walked in, the attendant immediately greeted them and started providing detailed assistance, which left me feeling overlooked. I understand that retail can be hectic, but considering we were the only customers at the time, I don't understand why there was such a lack of engagement.
If I were new to the Le Labo brand, I might have walked out without making a purchase. We got what we needed and left, but I hope the customer service can improve to match the quality of the products.
