Le Lappe Relais

We loved our stay at this is unique, beautiful property. It is so quiet up in the hills and amidst the forest, and felt like a distinct experience from other places we stayed further south in Tuscany. The location feels very remote, but it was not hard to explore further into Chianti. Pictures may not always do the place justice, the rooms and entire grounds are very luxurious, it really feels like living in a private villa! The best part of our stay was the staff - everyone is so friendly and attentive, and Laura gave us great recommendations on how to explore the surrounding area. Cannot recommend the cooking class enough - Sara was such an amazing, fun teacher! Thank you to the whole team for a memorable stay during our honeymoon!

If you’re debating staying here on your trip, trust me and do it. Everything was incredible and it was by far the most romantic stay on our trip.

After a time, we returned to Le Lappe. We were here maybe 5 times and returned to have celebrations of my wife’s anniversary. |What to say, everything is going in old habits (thanks for god’s), so we had again great time here. |As we had a dog, we choose the room with own terrace Le Querce. Room was spacious with fireplace we used to use every night.|Breakfast is the best we gad ever. It’s a la cart breakfast where you can choose from fresh squeezed orange juice, to egg Benedict and puffy pancakes. Believe me, really great!!!|Service and stuff is great, very attentive and helpful.|But I have one thing to improve. Restaurant is good, but not great. I have a bit problem with price - quality comparison. |Honestly to say, I have better meals here on my previous visits.|Anyhow, Le Lappe is still our the most favorite places in Tuscany.|Thank you Lorenza for unexpected welcome. Sometimes I am reluctant to write a review because it reveals a secret that I wish could stay a secret. Le Lappe is a fabulous experience. Tucked up in the hills a short distance from Florence, it offers great hiking and day trips. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the on-site dinning is superb. Great wines and food. Overall, a chill experience in a beautiful part of the world. Advice to those that have not been to the property yet, do not trust your navigator! Stay on the main road toward Montegonzi. The turn for Le Lappe is well marked. If you are on the unpaved road, it will be a long an bumpy ride.

We loved our stay at Le Lappe Relais. The hotel is very well done and has amazing taste throughout. Excellent food that was tailored around what we wanted each day and very attentive, kind staff. The place itself is so elegant, with amazing taste in all the decor and a wonderful ambience. The rooms are very large and we had a nice private patio to enjoy, in addition to the great pool and seating everywhere. The gardens and flowers are beautiful as well - can’t recommend this place enough!

I recently spent two weeks at this charming villa in Cavriglia, Tuscany as part of a large group celebrating a friends 75th birthday. ||||The main villa was built in the 13th century and is the quintessential Tuscan villa perched high on a hill with sweeping views from almost every window. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, most baths have jacuzzis and rain head showers with endless hot water. The lbeautiful infinity pool was a welcome respite during the hot days!||||We found the food exceptional. Breakfast was served buffet style with a wide assortment including yogurt, fresh fruits, cereals, and pastry's in addition to eggs, either scrambled our cooked to your liking. Lunches were seated and varied but always included a perfect freshly made pasta course. The dinners were indescribably delicious and consisted of four courses! Two weeks and no menu item was repeated even once.||||Lastly, but first in my mind was the wonderfully gracious and always helpful staff led by the House Manager (Principessa del Le Lappe), Valentina!. Her staff, Paolo, Franco, Alessio and Sampath could not have been more helpful. Special thank you to Leesa and Sara for their kitchen magic and to Alketa for keeping our rooms and our clothing spotless. ||||We may have arrived as strangers but we left as friends!

We were 20 guests that rented the whole villa last week of September and we had enjoyed the stay very much. Beautiful rooms and delicious food everyday. The staff welcomed us for an earlier check-in and had prepared our activities for some of the days, (cooking class, truffle hunting and wine tasting) Can highly recommend Le Lappe if you want to enjoy great Italian food and wake up to perfect view of the valley. Staying at Le Lappe has been absolutely amazing! We showed up at the gate quite randomly without a booking, but this was no problem at all. Caterina made sure we got an amazing room and we ended up staying 6 nights while the original plan was to stay 2 nights. Everything about Le Lappe is just perfect, from the pool, to the lovely garden, beautifully designed rooms and super friendly staff. It’s a hidden piece of paradise where you can find ultimate relaxation! A special thank you to Caterina for helping us with everything and planning nice trips such as wine tastings. We will definitely come back here and I can’t wait 😍.
