Le Lappe Relais

We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful boutique hotel in the mountains. The large pool and very nice view of the mountain. The whole place is surrounded by nature, you wake up to fresh mountain air. We enjoyed lunch and dinner several times during our visit, and every dish was delicious. What truly stood out was the exceptional staff. When we had an issue with our car, the entire team was friendly and went to help us fix it. We felt truly genuine hospitality throughout our whole stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax and have an amazing experience in Tuscany.

High up in the Chianti hills, this beautiful resort offers a panoramic of the stunning Tuscan valley, excellent facilities including a salted swimming pool, high quality rooms (with a jacuzzi in each room) and a very good restaurant with Tuscan food and wine to match. Last, the service, attitude, hospitality of the staff were incredibly warm and helpful - and will make your stay seem like your own home.

We loved our stay at this is unique, beautiful property. It is so quiet up in the hills and amidst the forest, and felt like a distinct experience from other places we stayed further south in Tuscany. The location feels very remote, but it was not hard to explore further into Chianti. Pictures may not always do the place justice, the rooms and entire grounds are very luxurious, it really feels like living in a private villa! The best part of our stay was the staff - everyone is so friendly and attentive, and Laura gave us great recommendations on how to explore the surrounding area. Cannot recommend the cooking class enough - Sara was such an amazing, fun teacher! Thank you to the whole team for a memorable stay during our honeymoon!

Beautiful property with great service and charming rooms. If you are driving -beware ! Google maps takes you on dangerous unpaved roads with huge ruts and drop offs. We had a big car otherwise we could have gotten stuck. See Brian W’s tip regarding address to enter in google maps and confirm with staff before driving there.

After a time, we returned to Le Lappe. We were here maybe 5 times and returned to have celebrations of my wife’s anniversary. |What to say, everything is going in old habits (thanks for god’s), so we had again great time here. |As we had a dog, we choose the room with own terrace Le Querce. Room was spacious with fireplace we used to use every night.|Breakfast is the best we gad ever. It’s a la cart breakfast where you can choose from fresh squeezed orange juice, to egg Benedict and puffy pancakes. Believe me, really great!!!|Service and stuff is great, very attentive and helpful.|But I have one thing to improve. Restaurant is good, but not great. I have a bit problem with price - quality comparison. |Honestly to say, I have better meals here on my previous visits.|Anyhow, Le Lappe is still our the most favorite places in Tuscany.|Thank you Lorenza for unexpected welcome. If you’re debating staying here on your trip, trust me and do it. Everything was incredible and it was by far the most romantic stay on our trip.

Sometimes I am reluctant to write a review because it reveals a secret that I wish could stay a secret. Le Lappe is a fabulous experience. Tucked up in the hills a short distance from Florence, it offers great hiking and day trips. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the on-site dinning is superb. Great wines and food. Overall, a chill experience in a beautiful part of the world. Advice to those that have not been to the property yet, do not trust your navigator! Stay on the main road toward Montegonzi. The turn for Le Lappe is well marked. If you are on the unpaved road, it will be a long an bumpy ride.

We loved our stay at Le Lappe Relais. The hotel is very well done and has amazing taste throughout. Excellent food that was tailored around what we wanted each day and very attentive, kind staff. The place itself is so elegant, with amazing taste in all the decor and a wonderful ambience. The rooms are very large and we had a nice private patio to enjoy, in addition to the great pool and seating everywhere. The gardens and flowers are beautiful as well - can’t recommend this place enough!
