"There is no doubt that the boss of this house tucked away behind the old port serves only fresh produce – “I don’t know how to cook anything else!” Take a seat in the modish, comfortable interior and be prepared to enjoy deftly crafted fine food rich in Mediterranean twists. A few examples: truffle-flavoured scrambled eggs; farm-reared Bigorre pork, white beans in chorizo, hazelnut crumble and sage gravy; amber rum baba, mascarpone chantilly, upside-down pineapple and kiwi pie. Exquisite service." - Michelin Inspector

Visited today with family for lunch after much research on where to go. Decided on Lauracee. Food and service were excellent. Liked the fact the restaurant and menu are quite small. We speak limited French but waiters were very polite and happy to assist. Lunch menu is excellent value at €29. My wife has gluten intolerance also which they were happy to accomodate and work around. Would highly recommend.

Food was very good but missing a little young people presence. Very classic - chic French dinning.

One of the best steaks and desserts we’ve had. Literally a restaurant worth flying to Marseille just to eat in. Amazing food quality. Hats off to Elios and the other waiter on the same shift for being amazing translators and super friendly!

It’s right next to my airbnb so went over for dinner alone. It was an excellent meal through and through: i counted around 17 different ingredients in one dish, expertly blended together to create a magical journal of the taste buds. The only flaw is the portion is a bit too big. It’s a lot of food to eat for dinner. The price is so reasonable for the food, every cent well spent!! It’s so nice to eat in Europe when the currency is at depressed levels (apologies :0) and no tipping. It was a steal really!!!

Food is well executed seasonal French fare at reasonable prices (25-30€ for most mains, 15-20€ for starters). Good wine recommendations from the waiter without trying to upsell you. Ambiance is a typical upscale restaurant vibe that is comfortable without being too stuffy.

I loved the presentation of all the plates, very appetizing! Food ingredients are superb. The spirit of attention to the details has been applied to all the aspects, food, dishware, interior design and service! Great experience!

Had lunch at this restaurant on the 10th of November. When you get here one of the waiters gets the door for you, greets you, and you instantly know you're about to have a very enjoyable meal. The place looks immaculate, with elegant decor and VERY comfortable chairs. I had 4 course meal composed of 2 starters, a main course, and desert. All of the dishes were recommended by one of the waiters (on this day they had 2, and one didn't speak very good english) and they were all very good tasting and with good visual presentation. During my meal I noticed they greeted a lot of costumers by name, which is always a good thing. Then, a surprise: the head chef/owner came out to talk to the costumers on each table! All in all I can say this is a restaurant where you will be well taken care of. It's the kind of restaurant where you can have a nice business lunch or a date. My only regret is not getting the names of the waiter and the chef so I could give them a special mention.

Outstanding ! Whether service or food, this small upscale restaurant is just perfection. We returned a few months later: the second time was even better.
