After four weeks in Italy in Rome and Apuglia, I’ve had cozze spaghetti at least seven times. This eighth time at Le Macàre was easily much better than the rest. The most generous serving of cozze was combined with a different kind of creamy sauce for an amazing flavour. I also tried the crustacean risotto with lemon. A very original flavour combined with lots of fish. This was preceded by lovely starters, including perfect meatballs, melanzane and red onions on crusty bread. Service was attentive and enthusiastic but not distracting. I think we are more likely to come to Alezio again when we next visit Italy because of Le Macàre.
