Very good macaroons! I was in France in October and they’re very comparable. I have not found anything comparable to the ones in Normandy France. They have other food too but didn’t try anything else. Highly recommend!

This place is the best. Stopping for a cappuccino, pastry, and some macarons are a guilty pleasure. Highly recommend.

Very disappointing experience today. My husband and I stopped in for coffee. I have to say that we have gotten coffee here before and it was good in the past. Today a young girl made our lattes, and my husband even ordered an extra shot and both tasted like water, $11 went right into the trash, extremely disappointing. If you have a cafe that serves just 2 things, coffee and dessert, then please care enough to ensure your staff can provide acceptable service

This place is absolutely amazing!!! My favourite in all of Pennsylvania. The chocolates are perfection and very reasonably priced.

I came for an Affogato which was delicious, vanilla and decaf espresso. In addition, I wound up having a savory croissant with spinach and feta, again delicious. The helpers are adorable, cheerful and very helpful. Highly recommended.

I love this shop and I’m never disappointed! The almond croissants are to die for, as are the beignets. Well, everything is delicious always, but the pistachio gelato is my favorite!!! I like to try something new every time I visit. :)

This is my favorite little French cafe in the heart of Doylestown, Bucks County, Pa. Quaint, inviting and an olfactory delight, Le Macaron is a must visit on your next trip to Doylestown. The staff is friendly, the prices are within expectations and the chocolates and pastries are amazing. Personally, I cannot pass up the Almond croissants. Their texture, with just a hint of buttery almond at the center, is unsurpassed in my experience. It's a cute little cafe. Seating is limited. In nice weather they have some limited seating and even supply a water bowl for your canine companions outside (no pets inside).

All I had here were the croissants- they were delicious! My favorite was the ham and cheese, but the plain and chocolate ones were also great choices too. My only complaint is they were small. For the price I expected something bigger. Service was good. Parking is scant and could be tricky depending on the time of day.

Gelato -- 5 stars, Macarons -- 3 stars Violet gelato? Yea, I'll try that. Absolutely delicious though the kid's cup was the prefect amount. Grabbed an assortment of macarons for after dinner -- unfortunately they were nowhere as good as the gelato. Several were underbaked. Of the flavors we got, the basil white chocolate was the one that stood out. Who knew a "pesto" macaron would be so tasty? The mango, cassis, and salted caramel were almost devoid of flavor. I'll definitely stop in again for gelato and give some of the pasties a try, but I'll likely pass on the macarons.

I have been meaning to try out le macaron since they opened and finally got around to trying them out. I used to buy macarons all the time when I lived in Philly and occasionally I'd be lucky enough to find some local ones and Im happy that there is now a local spot to me. I'll start by saying the staff is awesome and the establishment looked clean and their cases were filled with yummy treats. Be sure to also check out their refrigerator case with macaron cakes and ice cream sandwiches. The macarons were beautiful but just okay in taste. They were pretty sloppily made and uneven, not that it matters much to me. The mango was more jelly filled and the grand mariner with chocolate was my favorite that I tried. The lavender white chocolate was the one I was most excited for but it honestly tasted like fruit loops. I tried some of the lemon meringue tart which was good, the crust a little hard but had nice flavor. I'll be back I'm sure to try some other goodies in the future but it won't be a routine stop for me. If you're looking for macarons or other French pastries in doylestown- this will do but there are definitely better outside of the suburbs.

Ordered a small box of chocolates, don't specifically remember all the flavors- the turtle was pecan, the light blue was some kind of milk chocolate, I think the yellow was a caramel of some kind, the white was hazelnut? They were all delicious and would buy them all again. Staff was friendly shop was cute. If I am ever in the area again would definitely stop in.

Amaizing and so aesthetic for a date with a friend! I would definitely go back and order more of their macarons.

Perfection! A must stop on Doylestown. A lovely little shop with a wonderful selection of flavors I've never seen before. The Macarons are perfection. I just tried the lavender and it was amazing. They also have a lot of other delicacies including some pastries that are as delicious as they are beautiful. Friendly staff. The shop is right on the corner with indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend

Drove 45 minutes to taste the macarons. My partner and I make a point of tasting them everywhere we travel and these macarons can rival those in Paris. They are DELICIOUS. I can't wait to taste more of their offerings. chocolates, eclairs, gelato, they have it all. The cappuccino was very good also. Louise was friendly and very helpful. I am addicted This is one of my favorite places to go for a treat. The macaroons are delicious. I have to budget myself though because they are expensive. It is worth the cost though.

Wow!!! Every macaroon was fantastic, as well as the pastries. The Napoleon is super thick and creamy so may not be for everyone, if you like more of the pastry layers. The gelato was great as well! Excellent dessert stop in Doylestown!

It's rare to find the combination of great owners and a fantastic product but that's what Le Macaron offers. My favorites are the salted caramel and the coffee macarons, but I've thoroughly enjoyed EVERY thing I've ever purchased from them. The box of six is probably the best deal in the house, try it, your taste buds will thank you!!! The owners are just those great down to earth people that you can totally share a beer or glass of wine with. They are engaging, welcoming, and just fun people to talk to. They offer those little touches that remind you to support small business. I know that every purchase is going to their kids university fund, or to put groceries in the fridge. It honestly makes me want to shop there even more. TLDR: Phenomenal pastries, better people. Can't wait to come back!!!

Nice service, cute shop, but the macaroons are underdone in the center and definitely needed more baking time. The flavor of the black currant one was great, the flavor of the mango one was more savory than sweet for some reason. Pricing is unrealistic to the point where you wonder how high they were when marking up their prices. As someone who makes macarons for myself, I know how much they cost in the real world, and here you are paying for their space rental, employee salaries, and the owners' salaries. I suppose that's the cost of doing business in Doylestown.

They have so many different flavors of macarons - definitely try a few! Basil, Lavender, Coffee, Salted Caramel and more. The mochas we had also perfectly hit the spot :)

Yummy macarons!! Chewy with a slight crunch. The place has a really cute atmosphere too. Can't wait to try their other pastries! Would definitely recommend

Ok, this place is seriously OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD!! When we walked in, the scent of freshly baked croissants wafted towards us. The woman behind the counter was friendly and accommodating. I ordered two savory breakfast croissants, a chocolate croissant, and an assortment of macarons. Everything was melt-in-your-mouth good! Everything was devoured in minutes. I will be coming here all the time!!

Top notch chocolates, croissants, and gelato. Good espresso drinks. Good breads and various other French items.

Such a surprising gem to find in Doylestown! I've been let down by many a macaron- it seems everywhere serves them but they're rarely the texture and flavor that they are meant to be. Le Macaron does it right. They have a huge selection of flavors and each one is perfectly delicate and flavorful. My favorites that I tried were the Lemon Cream and Lavender White Chocolate. Planning to order a box for my mom and mother in law this year for Mother's Day!

i'm gluten free and can eat all the macarons here! super tasty and i always bring them home for the family
