10 Lovely Restaurants and Bars in Longueuil, Quebec | Eater Montreal

"Quiet and cozy, Le Mantra’s dining space is a great spot for group outings — but to get the real experience, plan for a lunch date at the afternoon buffet or the weekend belly dancing show. All buffet dishes are made fresh and move quickly — so they’re always piping hot and full of flavour. Don’t skip on the creamy, rich shahi paneer, which may be some of the best in Greater Montreal."

The BEST Indian food. If you do not try this restaurant you'll honestly be doing yourself a disservice. Amazing flavors, fresh food, kind staff. Such a pleasure. We have eaten here several times and we not go anywhere else; it's that good! Highly recommend!

First time and I was very impressed. Very friendly, the food was delicious. The lamb Madras was perfectly tender and nice and spicy. Naan was great too. Nice atmosphere.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved Le Mantra! The food portions were very generous, and everything tasted authentic and full of flavor. You can really tell they put care into every dish. The hospitality was great too — the staff were friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a place I’d come back to again!

Lunch buffer price with taxes and tips for two is $64, which is acceptable. The environment is clean and spacious, staff are friendly and always ready to fill your glasses with water. However, the food is a bit too salty.

First, no one was there when we arrived, we had to go look around the kitchen. You pay 2.50$ for a glass of tap water Too much vinaiger in the soup 2 of the 3 plate had dry chicken... The butter chicken was more like tomato soup chicken... Lots of boxes and stuff in the entrance Le waitress was sweet and mindful It's the only positive point

Great people! I visited this place with my friends and family and a couple of us tried the combo for 2. It was excellent. We were treated very well by Mini. She's extremely polite and takes very good care of customers. For the combo, we had pakoras which were excellent. Then she also offered to substitute the curries in the combo to make it customized. Finally, at the end she got all of us a gulab jamun and some green tea. What a gesture! Will definitely visit again and a highly recommended place! Thank you, Mini.

The food is very tasty, we could feel the spices almost in every single dish, nevertheless I have to say that I wished service was a little better, one of the waiters was super grumpy, I understand that nobody liked to work on a Sunday, but if you will have you you need to give your best. Anyway, we ordered the combo #2 for 2 people, it was more than enough, this included dessert and tea. The only thing I did not like at all was the tandoori chicken, it tasted weird, like if it had already expired, I could not eat it.

Yelp
Some of the best Indian food we've had in the Montréal area, leave alone the south shore. We went on a Friday and the restaurant was pretty full. Food took a bit of time though appetizers and drinks came out early which made it ok. The flavors were totally worth the wait! This is NOT your usual oily, cream laden Indian restaurant food. Every dish we ordered had distinct and unique flavors, well cooked gravies and appropriate spice. Special mention for the Kashmiri chicken. Well made bread and flavorful biryani completed the meal. We were a party of 7 and left totally satisfied with food, ambience and service.

Yelp
If you want 1 of the best Indian food A la carte Menu is awesome. You have to try this place. Well the lunch buffet is ok but a la carte is waaay better.

Yelp
Good Indian food. Authentic and tasty. The owner is present and she is charming. Quiet for supper. Traditional french neighborhood that probably doesn't appreciate this type of food. Cultural shock if your looking for pizza or subs. Large portions and fresh. Nothing prepared in advance here. Tacky decor but who cares. Reasonably priced. This is our third visit. We are working our way down the menu. Recommend

Yelp
Most of the food was not good. I usely go to indian restaurant and I'm satisfied but this restaurant changed my satisfaction. The rice was dry, not tasty. The dessert was out of date, we didn't eat the dessert. On the other hand, the tea was refreshing. Me and my friend thought that the food was not cooked today but from yesterday night. They just heat the food so that's the reason the food was not good because it was not fresh. It's better to go at night and not at noon during the buffet.

Yelp
I ordered twice from here, we decided to go with a combo for 2 and called to have it delivered. It was on the expensive side but it was worth it as we received a lot of food !! All the food was flavorful, we enjoyed the chicken butter & chicken pakoras etc. If you're into trying something different, you may want to try this restaurant.
