This is a truly beautiful restaurant, and the food was probably the best we've had since moving to Toulouse 3 years ago. It's also astonishingly reasonable - 35€ for what we thought was a 3 course meal, but with the amuses bouches and mignardises turned out to be 5 courses. There were also lovely snacks with the aperitifs. The wines are a standard set price for all the glasses so you should allow the staff to select you something that will go well with your meal. They are knowledgeable and enthusiastic and know what goes well. The only reason I put four stars instead of five was because we were seated and then waited a really long time for anyone to give us menus, and also the last explained really fast and enthusiastically and I didn't understand all of it so I had to get a translation to be sure I'd understood. That wouldn't be an issue for a native speaker. There was also an issue with them not knowing the fish of the day - we had 3 different versions lol. We loved the idea of the surprise menu, where you don't know what you're getting but unfortunately there were two of us with dietary allergies so it wasn't safe to take that option. The food was spectacular, both in flavour and presentation. Very much enjoyed and will definitely go again. I told my partner on the way home that I think it has overtaken La Gourmandine as my favourite restaurant in the city and surrounding areas.
