Le Mazet - Atelier de la Truffe

We found Le Mazet on the Michelin guide and it did not disappoint. We were warmly greeted on arrival and loved the outdoor setting. The food was meticulously presented and the flavours were incredible. Our pork and fish main dishes were the standout, imaginative and mouthwatering. We also found the menu to be reasonably priced given the quality of the food. We look forward to our next visit.

This has all the elements of a true Michelin star restaurant so run here before it gets 1 or even 2 stars and the prices rise to a whole new level. We had not only 1, but 2 excellent evenings here in July. The service was impressive as was the food. The mushroom risotto with freshly grated Truffle was one of the best dishes of my life and the ambience was even though it is by the street as being in a fairytale where you are seated under the large tree that is in the middle of the restaurant l.

Delicious and refined cuisine The truffle shrimp risotto was rich and perfectly cooked. Paired with champagne and great service, a truly elegant meal. I’ll be back!

This restaurant was just down the road from our villa, I wish we found it before our last night! The food and service was outstanding easily the best meal we had in France this trip.

It is very rare that you find a restaurant where you can score every course a 10 out of 10. This jewel on the outskirts of Le Lavandou does just that! A real treat!

What a wonderful dinner we enjoyed! So well-matched flavors and beautiful layouts. The staff was attentive and kind. The only thing we could have wished for more was a slightly softer lighting but otherwise the evening was great!
