📍 Location – ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)|Not as far from the center as it looks on the map, but let’s be honest: in Saigon’s humidity, you’ll be summoning a Grab before you know it. Ben Thanh Market is walkable if you’re brave, but if you want the full chaotic city life right outside your door, pick somewhere else. For a business trip? Works fine.||🛏️ Rooms – ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)|We had a double queen room—fine, but smaller than I expected. The bathroom, however, was nice: separate tub and shower, plus a massive glass wall between bed and bath. Cute for couples, awkward for friends… thankfully there’s a curtain for modesty.||🍳 Breakfast – ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5)|It looks impressive, but the flavor doesn’t match the spread. Pastries were dry, beef was chewy, juices watered down. Big disappointment for a brand like this. Halal options exist (and labeled), but taste still fell flat. At ~500,000 VND per person, it’s just not worth paying extra—better to hit a local café nearby for coffee and a croissant at a fraction of the price.||💪 Amenities – ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)|Now we’re talking. The gym is excellent—well-equipped, spacious, and gym-bro approved 💪. Right next to it, the rooftop pool on the 9th floor has a killer view. Not huge, but refreshing after a sweaty day in the city or a workout.||✅ Overall – ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)|Le Meridien Saigon is fine, but for the price I expected more. Friendly staff, good gym, and a nice pool, but the rooms are small and breakfast underwhelming. You can find better value—and a better location—elsewhere in Saigon. Next time, I’ll be booking closer to the action.
