Decent hotel with an excellent location. Not that far from the airport and tours offer pick up from the hotel as well which is convenient. Room size is standard compared to city hotels. However both nights the aircon despite being on felt like it was turned off! Apart from the night aircon and feeling extremely hot, the room was nice and my stay was good

This hotel was great! Very nicely designed and the staff here we're top notch. Super friendly and accommodated us to fix the only complaint we had. The complaint, and reason the rooms got 3 stars, was because the first 2 rooms we tried smelled musty, like too much humidity in the carpet or something that caused a moist smell. The staff there quickly moved us to better accomodations and were happy to help. 10/10, would stay here again. Ps. Our room attendant, Thuong Phan, did such an amazing job caring for the room over our 5 day stay.

The convenience and time saved after our flight set a perfect tone for the rest of the stay. Reliable Airport Pickup: Following the fast track, the hotel's arranged Mercedes Limo was prompt and professional. The seamless transfer to the hotel, even amidst potential city traffic, ensured a stress-free transition to the urban oasis. Accommodation : The room was modern, clean, and provided a tranquil retreat from the bustling city. A highlight was the suite's panoramic views of the Saigon River, which added to the overall ambiance. Surprise Engagement Decoration: The hotel staff's attention to detail was outstanding. They went above and beyond to arrange a beautiful and personalized surprise engagement decoration in the suite, making the special moment feel truly magical and unforgettable. A wonderful hotel by nearly every metric. I've cumulatively stayed here around 40 days over the past few years. Breakfast buffet is large and worth the price. The service is excellent with friendly and conversational staff around every corner. The gym is good. My only gripe is the sauna is only open from 6am-8pm. I can never use it because I like to sauna before bed. Absolutely not a deal breaker. I have yet to find a good hotel sauna in Saigon. Stay here, you will not be disappointed

A fantastic stay in the heart of Ho Chi Minh city in District 1. We had a room with river view and everything abt this stay was perfect! The room, amenities, lights, charging ports, shower taps were just right and it was seamless. We used the buffet and club lounge and the staff were professional and courteous! The hotel was within walking distance of all sightseeing places and makes this a great hotel. I travel frequently and once in a while encounter hotels where things work so seamlessly well! Exceptional!

Precision crafted service and stay! The welcoming check in was well assisted by Vincent allowing us to visit the club lounge prior to room being ready for clearly check-in, a great service to Marriott loyalty. The room was spectacular from the views, furnishings, and cleanliness, and seeing Ba Son Bridge light up from 6 pm to the color changing magic afterwards. To the club lounge it cannot match the Sheraton Grand Opera Saigon, but Le Meridien wins for the most elegant staff and views. Selection was more desserts and drinks focused and seating does not focus on dining tables vs comfy seats. Although staff does keep up well with cleaning tables, only most proactive or certain guests are asked to be served drinks. Location is wonderful and not noisy, close to little Japanese town and very foreigner friendly and modern HCMC Metro. Certainly a wonderful stay and look forward to visiting again.

We had hoped for a stay that matched the standards of its JW Marriott counterpart, but unfortunately Le Méridien Saigon was a genuine disappointment. One of the most significant issues was the lack of proper soundproofing. The room windows appeared to be single-pane rather than double-glazed, which meant outside noise carried through very easily. We stayed over the weekend and struggled to sleep both nights in different rooms — and in a city like Saigon, where the energy continues well into the night, stronger noise insulation feels like a basic and necessary upgrade for a hotel of this caliber. Breakfast was similarly underwhelming. The baked goods in particular fell short: the croissants and pain au chocolat were bready and stale, and the donuts tasted more like glazed bread than fried pastry. Even the local options were inconsistent — the phở gà came with dry, crumbly shredded chicken, while the bún mọc broth lacked depth and dimension. That said, there were a couple of bright spots: the fresh coconuts were a lovely touch, and the barista-made hot drinks were truly the highlight of the breakfast experience. The staff were generally lovely and shout out to the receptionist staff that offered me a room change at 10:30pm. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, especially at this level, and we left feeling it could benefit greatly from both infrastructural improvements and more attention to quality and consistency.
