"To call this Swiss hotel “Le Mirador” is a bit of an understatement. The word “mirador,” or lookout, is the same term assigned to tourist-crowded platforms on Spanish roadsides, the kind where everyone piles out of the car to take snapshots of a silvery sea or a faraway horizon at sunset. That’s all well and good, but the “mirador” at Le Mirador Resort & Spa is something more — it’s a jaw-dropper of a backdrop, a spectacle of nature that verges on the sublime." - Tablet Hotels

Back at le Mirador where we had not been for 25 years as service and rooms/ bath rooms had repeatedly been disappointing at that time. We are very glad we finally tried le Mirador again. We found an excellent service, warm welcome, perfect jr suite and had an excellent dinner at a very reasonable price. We liked the bar too. The view is one of the best worldwide and the very generous balcony with table, 2 chairs and 2 sunbeds is just perfect in summer.

Great place! Gorgeous views of the Alps! We stayed for 1 night. It was the first night of our honeymoon travels. We were upgraded from a standard room to a two-floor suite with a lake view. After a short exploratory walk of the facilities, we came back to our room and found out a surprise 0% alcohol champagne and chocolates. My pregnant wife absolutely loved this. It literally made her day. Once again, thank you for the amazing stay! We look forward to visiting again next year with our newborn.

From the moment we arrived at Le Mirador Resort & Spa, we were treated with the purest attentiveness. Check-in was so pleasant and friendly that I almost wished I could check in every single day. Before we had even finished our welcome drinks while admiring the breathtaking view, our bags were already in the room and the car was parked—an effortless start to a wonderful stay. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, and I would highly recommend including it with your room. Our server, Wilma, took exceptional care of us each morning and made the experience even more special. For dinner, we had the pleasure of being served by Clément, who was an absolute delight—attentive, professional, and warm. The resort itself is stunning, with so many highlights. The spa is a must for relaxation, the fondue dinner was unforgettable, and the gym offered one of the most spectacular workout views overlooking the lake. This stay was nothing short of amazing, and we will most definitely be back. Highly recommended!

What a great experience at Le Mirador, the service is really good and the staff very kind. Putting only 4 stars as our initial room (superior room nb 202) was way too small (one side of the bed against the wall in the corner). I understand this is the old building and every room are different as mentioned on the website, I'd advise not to offer it to customers as it diminishes the standard of the hotel which is top notch. We upgraded with a discount to a junior suite and could really appreciate the whole experience. The staff at reception was understanding. We'll come back ;)

This hotel is such an amazing hidden gem! The most spectacular views and beautiful hotel decor complete with interesting sculptures outside, lovely food and very nice area and location. But what really made this stay exceptional is the staff: hands down the best service I ever experienced in Switzerland (which I have often found to be surly, unhelpful and inflexible but I experienced completely the opposite at Mirador!). The staff throughout the hotel is exceptional: very well trained, helpful and eager to solve any problems. Highly recommended hotel and I’ll definitely be back!

We visited Le Mirador Resort & Spa in September 2025 to celebrate a family birthday. The location is breathtaking, with panoramic views over the lake and Alps. Staff were attentive, and overall the atmosphere was luxurious and relaxing.||||The main issue was with the booking process. I reserved a Junior Suite Prestige for 3 adults and 1 child via Booking.com, and the hotel’s own description mentions “Maximum occupancy: 3 people & 1 baby.” As my nephew is 4, I reasonably assumed the room was suitable. On arrival, however, we were informed it was not allowed, and we had to upgrade to a Royal Suite at CHF 2’600 per night. This was a significant additional expense that I had not planned for.||||The stay itself was enjoyable, but I would advise families to be cautious and confirm directly with the hotel regarding occupancy rules before booking. Clearer communication from both the hotel and Booking.com would have prevented this unpleasant surprise.

Me and my husband spent the day at the hotel spa, we had a couples massage and had dinner at the Le Patio restaurant. I have no words to describe the view of the hotel, we had never been to a hotel with such breathtaking views to the lake and mountains. The spa is amazing, the receptionist and masseusses were so lovely and caring. They were always checking in on us to ensure we were having a great experience at all times. The pool and jacuzzi of the hotel are incredible! We had dinner at the restaurant Le Patio and that was the cherry on top of the cake: delicious food, wonderful service and they even surprised us at the end of the meal with ice cream and a candle!. The whole experience at the hotel was 10 starts! We will be coming back for sure for an extended stay - super super super recommend it!

The hotel has exceptional views and the rooms are well designed to give guests the maximum opportunity to enjoy the views. However, as with many restaurants that have great views, the kitchen does not to need to try hard to attract customers. The menu is this uninteresting and not very well executed.
