Was on a boat and had our skipper dropped us off at this place (yes, you can access this #restaurant by boat as well as land). The owner of this restaurant is also an #oyster farmer like many others who live and work at #capferret so you can expect to have the freshest seafood (oysters particular 😉). It is not a large restaurant by any stretch of imagination but that is what is charming about this place: you can have a seat right at the beach with the view of the ocean and also walk around the back and see how they work the oysters. Onto the food, we ordered a #seafood platter (oysters and #shrimp) with a bottle of #rosé. We had packed lunch in our boat so just ordered some #appetizers. They were super #fresh as expected and the owner was actually the one who opened our oysters so kudos for the service. The #wine was also impeccable as you can expect since you are in #france. Nice atmosphere by the coast. Very fresh shrimp with tasteful sauce. We accidentally broke a glass of wine and they graciously offered us another glass without extra charge. Thank you for the wonderful experience (:

Received a very warm welcome from the staff although I don’t French. Super fresh oysters , nice wine with beautiful view and good price.

Maybe one of the best place for Oysters degustation @ Herbe (Bassin d’Arcachon). Very well priced. Good staff. Good service. Good wine.

Exceptionnel, petit de coin de paradis au bord du bassin, un spot idéal pour une dégustation d’huîtres ultra bonnes, accompagné d’un bon verre de rosé ! (Et pâté pour les enfants si besoin). Gentillesse et bons conseils en prime.

Superbe endroit découvert grâce à un collègue, je diffuse mais pas trop quand même 🤣 de peur de voir beaucoup de monde. Nous étions un peu hors saison donc parfait pour profiter de la qualité superbe des produits dégustés
