Pretty bakery, decent pastries and coffee. Bad customer service and negative atmosphere. I wanted to have my food to stay in the inside part of the cafe but after seeing the two girls in line ahead of me get very rudely yelled at by the cashier for trying to, I certainly didn’t want to ask to stay.

This boulangerie gave us an unforgettable but absolutely terrible experience, ruining what should have been a pleasant moment in Paris. The woman behind the counter hardly spoke English and behaved in a very rude manner. She insisted that under no circumstances were we allowed to sit outside on the terrace, repeating that all drinks and pastries were “only take away.” The absurd part was that other people were clearly sitting outside, so we could not understand the problem. Since they refused to give us plates or serve the food “for here,” we had no choice but to order takeaway and sit on the terrace anyway. Then another employee rushed over, pointing at our order and trying to chase us away because, according to her, it was forbidden to sit at their tables with paper cups. We understand that places may have their own rules, but we repeatedly asked — even begged — to be served properly on plates, and the staff refused. This is the opposite of customer-friendly service. Frankly, it was humiliating and very disappointing. Shame on this boulangerie. After a long, pointless argument we simply left and found a much better place. Definitely the worst memory we have from Paris.

What a lovely place to enjoy an afternoon! The hot chocolate was just perfect—not overly sweet, with a warmth that felt comforting. It truly made the experience special.

This was around the corner from our hotel and we had croissants and coffee here every morning. Both were great and the atmosphere was just a nice quiet neighborhood place where you can watch the world go by. Classic French experience without hustle bustle.

Really good brownies although a bit weird that when you’re in the coffee/ bar uit must go next door to order your cakes. Bit expensive for drinks but really cosy. Potted a few famous french actors.

Very disappointing. The thin chatain waitress unkind, in addition, there is no rush, not many clients but yet she forgets to come back to you after asking. They served my cappuccino in a finger burning water glass cup.

AVOID unless your happy to be charged double...or more Visited 23/06/18 Visited this cafe for breakfast during my trip. Food was average and so was the service. All products were clearly priced on the counter and our order was taken by a pleasant lady. However, when we went to pay the bill we were informed that all our prices were doubled or in some cases even more than double because we were seated in the cafe rather than having the items as a take away! Not once during our visit were we informed that the prices differ based on this. Also it is the responsibility of a business to label the prices to reflect this (like they do in businesses such as Costa Coffee). The owner appeared somewhat sympathetic by claiming other cafes may do the same...which I fail to believe as my week-long trip was coming to an end and this was my first encounter. Please avoid unless you're happy to pay extortionate price for an average (or less than average) cafe with an average atmosphere which may be targeting unexpecting tourists. If only I knew a 1 croissant, 1 pain au choclat and cappuccino would cost me more than €10 I would have not visited.

One of the favorite bakeries in Paris. Bakery is door to door to the cafe so you can have your coffee with freshly baked croissants.

Stereotypical French cafe close to the French Central Bank. I had a cappuccino and a tartlette chiboust. A chiboust is like a sweet cream with apple. A little too sweet for me but I wanted to try something I hadn't tried before. Service was good and servers spoke English to help explain pastries and offerings.

Fantastic pastries, beautiful area to sit outside and eat. Traditional pleasant, grumpy French baker. I highly recommend you get a croissant. Someone brought some to one morning and it made my day.

Love this cute little place. Had a butter croissant and chocolat chaud. My fiancé had the chocolate croissant and he loved it. The croissants were flakey and soft in the inside. The bakery had beautiful tile and the ceiling was beautiful. It really made me feel like we were in Paris.

Le moulin is your typical boulangerie patisserie. I was enticed to enter by the delicious looking pastry display. I ended up ordering an apricot tarte which was very delicious. Normally I would go for something prettier like a tarte framboise, but hey, substance over style. It was very refreshing, lightly sweet and tart. A definite winner. Seating inside was pretty minimal, but they do have a good amount of seating outside. This place is a solid 4.5. Ordinarily, I would've probably given a place like this a 5, but Paris just has so many amazing places to eat that I have to raise the bar. To me, a 5 in Paris is something that is so special I would visit again. That's why this place is not quite a 5, because although my tarte was delicious, I do not feel compelled to revisit as there are so many other patisseries to try before my short time here is up.

An amazing little bakery! Once we discovered it, we went every morning for fresh croissants, pastries, baguettes and more. Everything there is absolutely mouth-watering but the croissants are out of this world. In addition to all the desserts in the window, there are sandwiches available as well. There's a coffee shop next door that you can take your baked goods to and eat to enjoy there with an espresso. I also saw some servers drop coffee off at the bakery but I'm not entirely sure how that works. Whatever you do, hit up this place during your visit to Paris. There isn't anything else like it.

My wife and I stumbled on this Pasterie by accident wandering around Paris. I loved it. We had a couple very nice pastries, cafe au lait, and tea. The service was good and the food was very good. It's a charming little cafe (pasterie really) on a bit out of the way street. It's also right down the street from Basilica of Notre-Dame des Victoires, a beautiful church that doesn't have the crowds of Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris or Basilique du Sacre Coeur.
