"The restaurant’s name is inspired by a chanson song. Inside, red bench seating, French movie posters and chanson playing in the background all recreate the feel of a Paris bistro. The menu is an assemblage of French village fare. Each plateful serves two, encouraging sharing. With an extensive list of wines from every region of France, many available by the glass, you can delight in the experience of pairing your dish with wines of the same region." - Michelin Inspector

French food may not be the first thing on your mind when visiting Japan, but if you need to change things up, this is the spot. The food was delicious and perfectly sized. The atmosphere was charming, cozy, and accompanied by great service.

Easily my favourite restaurant now in Tokyo. It’s elevated comfort food in an unpretentious setting. There is so much attention to detail the chefs put in. From table settle; atmosphere, wine list, choice of produce. The mix of cuts and cuts of beef chosen for each dish that highlights both the flavour and texture. It felt like an absolute steal eating at this quaint restaurant. It’s the great local Japanese produce paired with the origin ingredients of France, each speaking of its own terroir. I would have ordered everything on the menu, albeit I was dining alone (they can accommodate half portions for certain dishes with some limitations, but they do their best). Lucky for me, they open till midnight on weekends and I tend to stay in the Ginza area a lot and always fuss about getting food at acceptable pricing in this area. Might not be doing myself a service by highly rating this gem, they truly earned this! Thank you Sugawara-San! Amazing FOH service 👍

We had the best evening here celebrating my partners 30th. It’s a really cozy bistro with great wine choices . We sat on the second floor which was still really ambient ! We shared a bottle of wine along with a cheese board , a fish of the day , dauphinois potatos, and steak frites . Our waiter was very lovely , super attentive and really looked after us for the night . (I wish we got his name ) I’d mentioned it was my partners birthday on the reservation and they surprised us both with a birthday dessert plate alongside our espressos . Would really recommend this place for real quality food , excellent service and cosy ambiance . Reservation needed !

A truly delightful experience. The atmosphere at Le Nougat is calm and peaceful, perfect for having a conversation without any interruptions. The place is very clean and cozy, and the staff provides excellent service. What really stands out, however, is the food and its authentic flavor. I started with a beautifully made ratatouille, full of those characteristic French flavors. Then I had a tenderloin with French fries, accompanied by an exquisite sauce—the meat was tender, with no nerves, and perfectly cooked. To finish, the profiteroles were the perfect sweet ending, simply delicious. Highly recommended. Without a doubt, this is a place I’ll be coming back to.

Wow, everything about this small neighborhood restaurant is top notch! We had steak and fish, both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The lentil bean side was so unbelievably good I could have eaten three portions--who mentions lentils in a review! ;) The meal was extremely affordable and the atmosphere lovely. 5 stars, no note!

My friend took me to his favourite French bistro in Ginza. What a hidden gem! The foods were amazing and the price of wines was so reasonable. It became my favourite restaurant too.

Yelp
A quaint and smallish French bistro serving authentic home-style dishes. There's a bar downstairs and dinner seating upstairs. A good selection of wine and they have a lovely Reisling! Cosy ambience and great food. Creme brûlée was fabulous

Yelp
Ooh la la, what an amazing feast! Started out with a fresh light orange carrot salad and nicely seasoned ratatouille. For my entree I didn't want French fries with my steak . Our waitress was very accommodating and switched to potato au gratin for a minor fraction of cost,Dessert was to die for, highly recommend the Baba Rhum and if you still have room, try the light puff cream with ice cream and homemade warm chocolate sauce over it. Waitress was very kind. We had a window seat which was nice. Overall , a wonderful memorable experience.
