I wanted to like this place but unfortunately my meal was not very good & our waiter disappeared on us, mid-meal. Beef bourguignon should be flavorful and hearty, theirs was bland & thin. The calamari & salad were quite pleasant, but if you’re going to be a French restaurant, you have to get the staples right.

Amazing food. The skirt steak was delicious, crispy and perfectly cooked. The wine and dessert was fantastic. The servers were very kind.

Food was good. Menu prices were good. Atmosphere was a neighborhood joint that drew several families with small kids. Small dining space that filled quickly but turned over quickly too. Small space was a bit too loud for me when tables were full. Service was meh. Staff was friendly enough but Long waits for first order, drink refill and asking for extra ketchup came close to giving me an argument. Importantly, the place charged a credit card surcharge that was not mentioned on the menu at time of ordering. I'm sure of this because they were VERY clear on multiple signs that they only took cash or American Express. Only found out about the surcharge when the final bill arrived, and they really should tell you about that charge before you order. It might even be the law in NY/ NYC but I'm not sure. I might go back but the surcharge thing really pisses me off, especially when the tip gets included in the service charge percentage calculation.

Lamb burger and veggie pizza were good. Took a little while to turn out food, but overall a good spot!

Google
Avoid this place. The service was incredibly slow—it took about 40 minutes to get our dishes, and after we finished eating, we waited another 15 minutes for the check. When we finally received the check and got our credit card ready, they informed us after another 5 minutes of waiting that they only accept Amex or cash. If you don't have either, there's an ATM at the entrance, which charged us a $2.75 fee. We will never return.

Google
What a gem in the middle of a residential area. The owner is as down to earth as they come, stopping often to check on us. Greeting at the door and ensuring quality. The dishes were cooked perfectly and portions were filling. Enjoy! PS.. the gherkins are a pleasant surprise!

Great neighborhood spot with fantastic food. We're so I'm love with the pizzas that we never tried anything else.

I eat here once a week and it's got amazing outdoors dining. Food is great and the service is always quick. It gets busy so make sure to get there early or make reservations. A gem of Windsor Terrance.

Yelp
I love this neighborhood gem!!! Located in Windsor Terrace, Le Paddock has been serving French comfort food for years. I have not been in awhile but but coming back home this time, I made sure to visit. Staff is always welcoming and super nice. Eating here is always a great experience. The resto is cozy and has outdoor patio. I had the Mussels (Moules Mariniere) with Fries. Full bar and the cocktails are delicious! The bartender made me an amazing espresso martini (not featured). You must know, parking is not that bad or take F/G to Fort Hamilton. Also, the resto takes cash or Amex only.

Yelp
Service was friendly, quick, and welcoming; ambiance was warm but a little darker for some tables than others. We came here to try their restaurant week menu and ordered the escargot, salmon risotto, cassoulet, crème brûlée and chocolate cup de creme. We also ordered the deviled eggs from their regular menu. Escargot: 2/5, like other diners have noted, the flavor is on the blander side, which could be improved to your own liking with some salt. My wife's plate came with lots of sauce whereas mine barely had any, so there's also inconsistency in terms of its preparation which is unfortunate. Deviled eggs: 1/5, overly mustardy which overpowered the entire dish, where there's no other flavor present; no sweetness, no savoriness, just the burn from the mustard. Salmon Risotto: 2/5, the salmon at first arrived pretty raw in the inside, which is evident in the picture. They fixed it for us kindly, which we appreciated it. However, the risotto were also quite tough and not soft like it normally would be. Flavor was also on the blander side and we had to adjust it to our liking by just constantly adding salt. Cassoulet: 3.75/5, not your typical cassoulet which is often served with breadcrumbs, and came with some beans, 3-4 pieces of sausage, and a duck leg with some pancetta bits. The duck leg was perfectly cooked, juicy, and tender. The rest of the dish felt small, like half the bowl it came in was empty when they could've added more beans just to make it more hearty. Definitely had better but it's not bad. The creme brûlée and chocolate cup were both 5/5 for us, for they were both perfectly crafted, big in portion, aesthetically pleasing, and just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess! I would definitely get them both and I promise you won't regret it; whoever made the desserts did everything right! Overall it was a decent experience for us; though we have high hopes Le Paddock can definitely improve and reach the 5 stars I know they have the potential of achieving! So give them a shot and definitely get the desserts! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Yelp
Only takes Amex in 2025. What? There needs to be better visibility of this in Yelp so you don't waste your time traveling here.

Yelp
Love this neighborhood spot. The owner is so friendly and kind. He has a way of making you feel individually welcomed, which is just peak hospitality in my opinion. Food was delightful- I got their mustard crusted salmon and it was just *chef's kiss*. Perfectly cooked and flavorful.

Yelp
This restaurant knows their craft. Each mouthful brought pure joy. Each time I visit, another menu item gets tasted. Personnel deliver excellent attention whenever I visit. This place stands among local culinary highlights.

Yelp
I came here for dinner with my friends and had a reservation. The restaurant was mostly emptied when we arrived but they sat us in the middle where the fan was really strong and blowing our hair in our faces. Not a great start. We asked if we could move to the booths further away but they said it was reserved. We asked if they could lower the ceiling fans a bit and they said they would but I'm not sure they actually did it. Hair ties it is ladies! We ordered a good amount of food for a table of 6 to share. While the meal was ok, we were not blown away. The escargot was rather bland, kale ceasar was ok but didn't taste like a ceasar, the fried calamari was ok, the shrimp pastis was good, I didn't like the Pate de Campagne, La Windsor pizza was really salty from the blue cheese, the mussels was good, the beef bourguignon was ok and my friend ended up adding the skirt steak because she wanted more meat and they forgot to make our risotto. The steak was cooked medium rare as she wanted and was good. They did allow us to cancel the risotto since we were done eating and they didn't make it yet. Our server was really nice though and let us try different wines because we were not sure which bottle we wanted to get for the table. It's a small place inside so can get crowded. I highly recommend making reservations if you want to dine here. FYI: They only take CASH or AMEX.

Yelp
This spot left me with a strong positive impression. My dining experience was extraordinary. Every worker offered politeness and assistance. The restaurant delivers beyond basics. This spot offers a novel experience.

Yelp
My family appreciates how well they accommodate all our tastes. The taste quality stands among my lifetime highlights. The pricing structure is sensible. The workers combine technical excellence with genuine hospitality. Tasty food & comfortable space.

Yelp
Le Paddock is a great gem in Windsor Terrace. The family did brunch one late Sunday morning and overall it was a solid experience at this equestrian themed restaurant. I would 100% recommend you check it out if you're in the neighborhood. Pros: + Delicious burger + Chill outdoor, intimate neighborhood vibes + Friendly service + Exceptional fries. Perfectly crispy + Close to Prospect Park + Great for friends, family brunch Possible Cons: - Amex or Cash only - Burger cooking was a tiny bit off - Rare burger came out too rare and medium was a bit too well done.

Yelp
This place has quickly become one of my favorites. It's got this really cozy vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxed meal. The staff always makes me feel welcome. The food is always solid and looks just as good as it tastes. I've been back a few times now, and it's one of those spots that just never disappoints. It's the kind of place where you can count on good food and a great atmosphere, so I'll definitely keep coming back.

Yelp
3 and a half star rating Nicely sized portions, good service, and decently priced food. We came here for brunch on Sunday. It was busy but not too crowded. We were seated immediately. There were a few wooden tables, a no frills kind of place. I had the French toast, which came with real maple syrup, and fresh berries, which were strawberries and blueberries, included in the order. The French toast was alright but very eggy. My friend had coffee, the soup of the day, and the beet salad. She didn't have any complaints about the coffee or the soup. She said that the beet salad was good but could have used less acidity from the citrus in the dish as it seemed to overpower the natural earthiness and flavor of the beets. We weren't blown away by the food...maybe we picked the wrong items on the menu to have. Next time we are in the area we will order different menu items and give this place another try.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and spoke french. Every dish was good, just a little loud in the restaurant.

Such a neighborhood gem. Fantastic service, gourmet dishes.. but successfully brought to bring the kids so super family friendly. Great vibes.

Yelp
Wow, last night just seemed to be a perfect evening. Wanted to try a place that was close to my friend's house and ended up finding a gem. We both had worked later than usual, and we both arrived about 8pm. There were a couple of tables available and we took the table on the far end of the restaurant. My friend had a huge and expensive bag and did not want it on the floor nor on the radiator next to us. The 1st person could not find 5 when the owner came over. He grabbed one from the closet without a fuss. He even made a few jokes about it, and I was laughing my head off!! That's how you start a great evening. This place is so cozy and romantic, and the staff is super attentive. It was the right amount of attention we both needed after our long day. Barry was our waiter and had such a good demeanor. He shared the specials of the night, including oysters, for a lower price!!! There was no way I could resist oysters! The other special was Cod and shrimp with a hint of curry on a bed of mashed potatoes. Let me tell you how good this dish was!! Although we shared that main, there was nothing left, and my friend eats very little food. We also indulged in a fried calamari appetizer prior to the Cod dinner. Totally forgot about our drinks!! My friend had the muscadet, crisp and dry, while I had Cardero Maduro brown ale on tap, which was quite nice. The reason why I went 5 in rating was all the above.; good, service and the ambiance! It is certainly a place to revisit. Btw, the bread is so fresh!!!

Yelp
I went there last month. It was very warm and cozy place. The food was good. I didn't know that there was this place around my neighborhood until I found it on the restaurant week program. I really had a good time.

Yelp
Dinner food and service is great: lunch is another story. The service was indifferent (I had to get my own salt and pepper inside) and the food was awful. The calamari was coated with oil (probably because the fryer oil was too cool or old) and the "kale Ceaser" didn't even have Ceaser dressing on it. The server was apologetic. Clearly the management doesn't care about serving a decent lunch. It appears the owners don't monitor these reviews, so I don't expect anything will change.

Terry W.

Yelp
First time at this restaurant and pleasantly surprised. Potions are large, big enough to share-and I don't usually like to share. The pork chop was tender and tasteful and calamari not chewy, with flavorful sauce. Only issues I had that prevents me for giving 4 stars is the steak and noise. While it is hard to do anything about noise, especially since there are few restaurants now that are quiet enough to talk and not scream at friends, restaurant can do something about steak. It is a hangar steak, nice size but was chewy. It was ordered medium. Friend who had it rare liked it. Maybe the temperature but didn't like. I would recommend this restaurant. Try it when not busy and less noisy.

Yelp
Loved the vegetarian couscous dish. Perfect for an unexpectedly cool, rainy evening in Brooklyn ~ I'd enjoy it in nicer weather too. The base tastes great. Crème brûlée was Très magnifique :) Staff were helpful and spirited. Appreciated the outdoor seating. I'll be back!

Yelp
This is a lovely stop in Brooklyn--a French café with a horse theme and heated outdoor seating area. We went for weekend brunch. The food was fantastic but I had to remove a star for service. Our party of four was seated immediately indoors and within a few minutes, we ordered our drinks and food. I had a fresh, lovely mimosa that wasn't too sweet, and my husband had a Bloody Mary that was spicy and delicious. Usually, I don't like them but this one was enjoyable. My kids ordered fresh mint lemonade that would be wonderful on a summer day. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our drinks. 45 more minutes passed and I asked our waitress when we could get the deviled eggs we ordered for an appetizer. She said she forgot to put them in and that our meals were almost ready, so we never got them. This was disappointing. After almost an hour overall, we finally got our food. I had an omelet with a little too much cheese, but the roasted potatoes it came with were delicious. My husband had Merguez, which was a lamb sausage and lentil dish topped with egg. He enjoyed it but it was a small portion for the price. My daughter ordered quiche but it was bland and mushy, with a soft wet crust. She loved the fries, and my son enjoyed his burger. We noticed that other tables got their food faster, and other tables were served bread. We were not. If we are in Brooklyn again, we will give it another chance since most of the food was good, but I'd rate it a 3.5 due to the service and a couple of issues. They make it very clear that they only accept Cash or AmEx.

Yelp
It's an excellent local restaurant. I'm rounding up from 4.5 stars as it's not worth a trip from far away.

Yelp
I am in LOVE with this place! I came here for brunch, and I was drawn to Le Paddock because of the cute outdoor seating area. When I went to check out the inside...cute as a button! Very provincial, French bistro esque. Not too fancy or elegant, nor too casual of a joint. A great middle ground. The service was great, they were attentive and friendly and warm. The FOOD! Oh. My. Gosh. How delicious! We shared the quiche and the poached eggs with gravlax. So rich and savory, the pastry crust was tender and buttery, everything was perfectly salted. I have to ask what they put on the potatoes because they were out of this world. I was also pleasantly surprised when the bill came, and it really was very reasonable for a nice brunch meal at a French restaurant! I WILL be coming back, and sharing this spot with visitors from out of town when I want to impress.

Yelp
Pre Covid Le Paddock was my go to brunch location in park slope. The food was always good and they had the best eggs. I decided to go and check them out after three long years. Well I must say the customer service definitely changed. The staff did not seem to be very welcoming like previous years. It was very dry I felt like I walked into a pub. We arrive about 40 minutes before the change from brunch to dinner so while eating another waiter comes over and states we will be changing over to dinner and place our bill on the table. I honestly was not thinking that he was excepting for me to pay at that time but then he came back over and was like hi we need to switch the register over so I was like ohhh I'm sorry I didn't know you wanted me to pay and gave him my credit card. At this point I'm like well Where is my original waitress? Well, she's outside have her lunch I guess!!!! This really turn my mood on the customer service side. Overall, the food was still good but when it comes to my service I really don't care how good my food is, my service plays a strong component on how I feel when I have to dine out and enjoy my moment.

Yelp
Haven't been in a few years, decided to pop in after pandemic brunch. The food is what I remembered, flavorful and tasty. Initially service was good. I guess our waitress got off of work, neglected to tell us, and we just see her casually eating her lunch outside. I am used to a waitress/waiter formally stating, "hey guys such and such will be taking care of you from here on out". The proprietor or manager proceeded to tell us that they are switching from brunch to dinner and that we need to close our bill before we were really done. No problem, I don't care but I did feel like the service lacked the WOW factor. I left disappointed to say the least. Casual detour ambiance and tucked away location, one of the main reasons I gravitated here 6-7 years ago.
google avatar

Chris G.

Yelp
We ordered on a Sunday at 1pm. We were still waiting for our food after 20m. The waiter asked us again what we ordered. Five minutes after that, my wife found a cockroach crawling up her leg. We bounced before the food could come.

Ann A.

Yelp
Excellent comforting food on a cold day, very nice waiter, good wine selection. Enjoyed the music very much during my lunch visit. I would return to try dinner or brunch.

Yelp
Great cocktails, delicious food and fun ambiance. The server was helpful and attentive.

Yelp
Just had a perfect meal (we had skirt steak, duck salad, risotto) at Le Paddock. Outside patio is lovely, Staff was on point, and the food was done perfectly. If we lived just a few blocks closer this would definitely be our local.

Le K.

Yelp
I don't know what happened yo this place, because it used to be reliably good (I live nearby.) Last summer I stopped in for lunch, ordered the fried calimari and "kale Ceaser." The calimari was very greasy, probably because it was cooked in lukewarm or old oil. There was nothing "Ceaser" about the kale - it was some tiny pieces of kale with oil and vinegar. I told the server how bad this meal was, and he seemed disinterested, but agreed to comp me the Calimari (from which I only had taken 2 bites.) I leave a review, with photos, hoping that maybe they'll tighten things up (there was no a manager on duty.) I go in tonight around 8 pm, tired and hungry, and hoping I could have the lamb burger and fries that my son and I enjoyed many times. Order gets taken, and I figure it should be ready in 20 minutes tops BECAUSE IT'S THE EASIEST THING ON THE MENU. 40 minutes later there is no food, but there is an assurance that it is almost ready. From my spot in the corner I can see in the kitchen and the cook is doing a lot of stuff, but he's not cooking the dinner I ordered. I get up after another 10 minutes, go to the waiter and he gives me the same lame smile and "it's just about ready," tell him I won't be back and walk out. As I'm leaving, someone walks in the door. I tell them that they probably won't serve them, and go home. When I get home, I pluggedin my mini fryer, and defrosted and cook a burger and warmed up a bun from the freezer. While it's finishing, I cut up some fries and put them in my deep fryer. 25 minutes later, I have the meal I ordered, and that was only because I had to defrost the burger and wait 15 minutes for the oil to heat. I don't know what the problem is over there - perhaps they prefer to serve 2 tops or larger tables, or maybe my order wasn't big enough to actually make, so the jackass cook didn't do it. Whatever the problem there is with this place, I won't be back, which I'm sure will not have any impact on their bottom line.

Yelp
Neighborhood gem. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere, with delicious food and great service. The burger and steak frites are favorites.

Yelp
I split the margarita pizza with one of my dining partners and had a side salad. Both were great. Washed it down with a French pilsner beer (never knew about French pilsners) . Was there with a party of nine. The other dishes, such as the lamb burger looked substantial. Plus, the owner came out & had a wonderful conversation with us! Friendly waitstaff as well. Food promptly prepared.

Yelp
The outdoor dining set up here is pretty nice. There's a covered area that actually retained heat. There were also heat lamps. I came here for brunch with a friend. I had been craving steak and eggs, so I finally got the chance to order it. I asked for the steak to be medium well, which is evidently a very difficult temperature to get right. It seemed like the steak I was served was quite well done. The steak was slightly charred, which I don't mind, but I found the meat to be kind of tough and extremely chewy. It was nicely seasoned at least. The egg came fried completely, just as I requested. It was decent, and paired well with the steak. The french fries were irresistibly crispy and had a ton of potato yumminess. I also enjoyed the salad that accompanied the dish. There was a perfect amount of vinaigrette dressing, which tasted fresh and full of great acid. Service was good throughout. The portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable.

Yelp
Delicious hidden gem with excellent service and wonderful food. The muscles in the seafood pasta had zero sand - they were smooth and buttery! They are dog friendly too

Guy W.

Yelp
My third time eating here. The food had always been good; however the rude waitstaff in my last visit took the goodness out of the visit. It seemed we did not order enough to raise the bill, we are not big eaters or drinkers, they did not even stop by during the meal to ask if we needed anything and to top it off they just grabbed their cash tip and we did not even get a thank you. Even at the minimum suggested tip their service was not worth that. Ambiance is loud loud loud, screaming kids with parents with no sense to take kids out to not disturb other paying customers. Have to give 3 stars for food but the rest left a bad taste in our mouths.
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
Well then! Pleasantly surprised at how tasty our meals were this latest visit. Some months back, I had ordered brunch items to-go and they were just fine. Nothing memorable. And also a tad greasier than I'd hoped. This time, my plated sit down brunch was spot on and quite enjoyable on a hot and muggy weekend afternoon. My omelet was fine, but my dining mate's lamb merguez was memorable. The lamb sausage link was delicious and makes you wonder why you'd ever give up meat. I want to try a few more dishes before I fully decide on whether I love the place. All I know is my two experiences have definitely balanced themselves out at this point and I need a third to break the tie!

Yelp
Always in search for a French restaurant to take me back to my best memories of Paris cafes and the south of France and this place does not disappoint. We had the Escargot, Deviled Eggs, French Onion Soup, and Arugala Salad with Duck Confit and duck prosciutto. French wines to boot. The food was a bit heavier than you'd expect, but each different enough from American fare to believe you are in fact realizing the French cooking influence, like the onion soup which was less salty and sweeter than pub fare. The service was personal including the prerequisite French speaking owners accent which validated the experience. The place is a neighborhood Joint adding to its charm. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I like Le Paddock, but constantly wish there were more vegetarian options. What there is IS good -- I loved the pizza, especially the roasted whole garlics -- but there's not much if you don't view salad as a meal. My wife enjoyed her salmon (medium), and the creamy lentils that came with it. The cauliflower appetizer was also, well, appetizing. There was a bit of a wait because of a huge Grubhub pizza order that arrived just before us, but we didn't mind. It passed quickly. They checked vaccination status, so I felt comfortable eating inside. Very comfortable. All this and two drinks was $99 before tip.

Yelp
Our new favorite french cafe) very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Good, very friendly staff. The food are always fresh and delicious, huge portions and reasonable prices. They have an "oysters special", $1 after 4pm on Thursday!

Yelp
I came here a few weeks ago for brunch with a friend outdoors. Brrrr. It's not too bad. They have a covering, its open to the outside, and there are heat lamps inside. But you still have to be pretty well bundled in the outdoor dining for this spot. I think they used to have a prix fixe brunch special deal which would be great but that's gone. Drinks are individually priced at $9/10, which isn't too terrible. I've actually never dined here before knowing it's medium expensive for the neighborhood and really this was just a treat yourself moment. I ordered the La Vie en Rose cocktail (Sparkling Rose, elderflower, bitters) - Surprisingly boozey, bubbly, a little too much sugar at the bottom I noticed they poured sugar grains in, but it didn't overwhelm the drink too much. I felt tipsy off of one drink and that's an accomplishment. Croque Monsieur sandwich - Decent. It's a ham and cheese sandwich. What could go wrong? The egg is $1.50 extra. I can never understand that part. I can buy an entire carton of eggs for $1.50. I mean, c'mon. I will say though, this croque monsieur is a lot better than what Le Paris bistro down the block used to churn out. So I did notice a difference in the quality of a gourmet cheese sandwich. There was something about the bechamel, the cheese, the light crisp on the bread. . . . something. And the fries were pretty solid as well. My friend went with the steak and eggs. She said it was good. There wasn't any raving commentary but it seems like it was in that 3.5-4 territory of this is nice but would I come back? I'm tempted to try the pizzas here. French pizza. . . . they look appetizing in the photos at least. Service also was top notch. Our guy kept coming out in the frigid cold to check on us every few minutes and was super quick lightening speed at getting that side of mayonnaise because I'm a fatty. Heck yeah.

Yelp
I 've been hearing about how nice this place is, how good the food is, how unique the place, since it opened. I've wanted to check this place out for years, and I finally got a chance to go there for dinner this evening with 3 other guests. The place is cute, like a rustic eatery. Service was OK. Not overly friendly not cold or non-existent. The food was OK but left something to be desired. Calamari was large rings (I've seen that in some places. What happened to the rest of the squid body and the tentacles?) but overly salty. Deviled eggs had no flavor. My drink (a house special Negroni) was very good. Soup was a little salty. My friend said his burger was just OK. The pizzas looked good but was just OK. My skirt steak was great. Overall a very mixed experience with the food. The place is pretty noisy and hard to hold a conversation. Overall a pretty mediocre experience and a disappointment compared to my expectation.

Yelp
Cash or Amex only is an annoying new trend of these places. Cute but I always walk out when I see the sign

Yelp
Amazing spot for any meal near prospect park! The ambience of the place feels very european and gives off holiday vibes. The service was also great- the staff speaks french as well which adds to the atmosphere. We got the cocktails, brick oven pizza and matcha creme brulee- all were amazing! Place is cash/amex only so heads up (they do have an atm)

Yelp
Adorable French Bistro in the area. I have cravings, they cook to fulfill and it's usually the French Onion Soup or the Coq Au Vin which travels well in a cardboard type container. Cute outdoor dining space as well as a comforting indoor experience. I highly recommend and cat wait to try the rest of the menu. Oh, did I mention they serve Deviled Eggs and Escargot??

Yelp
Tourists visiting Brooklyn from the Midwest and we were craving a late lunch near Prospect Park/Green-Wood. We came across Le Paddock and what a wonderful gem! We sat outside To enjoy the neighborhood's perfect weather. The Kir Royal, La vie en rose and a stout beer set us off on a fantastic and fun meal! Delicious bread with salted butter to start and then three Croque Monsieurs with eggs had us dazzled. We had the chocolate pot de creme for dessert and a couple extra rounds of those fun drinks. LEO was our AMAZING server. We just can't say enough about him and his friendly smile and helpful nature! HIGHLY recommend and may try to return during our brief vacation! Note to Patrons: cash and Amex only but they have an ATM handy.

Yelp
We ordered dinner for takeout and got the beef burger, margherita pizza, pear almond tart and chocolate cake. Pizza was tasty, solid with a good crust and fresh flavors. The burger was big and juicy, my only complaint is that it was packed togethor with the salad which made the bun soggy. The pear almond tart was good but didn't have much flavor, don't really recommend it. Chocolate cake was great, probably my favorite. It was rich and moist without being too overpowering. I placed my order over the phone and ordered calamari but didn't get it. When I noticed I was too lazy to turn back to say something. Overall food was good and I would probably order again if I am in the area.

Yelp
The food was mediocre. Thus the 3. Service was attentive but felt the pressure to "turn a table" - can be forgiven. It is a business. But with so so food. Can't really appreciate it. The atmosphere was overall probably the best part. But for me - that's the least important. Will not return. I had dinner. The reviews seem to really be stellar for the brunch. Maybe that's the trick. Oh well.

Yelp
I am a lover of beef bourguignon. Today while meeting with a group of friends, one of my friends said that Le Paddock has the best beef bourguignon. She said that they add some kind of mole to the sauce. When I got my order, which was very sumptuous, I tasted the sauce and was just blown away when I finally tasted the meat it was so tender. I also had a taste of my friend's white pizza made with truffle oil. This was also delicious. Because it was Thursday we were able to get oysters at $1.50 each with two different kinds of sauces. We also shared a carafe of red wine. I live in the neighborhood and occasionally have stopped by but now I am a devotee of this restaurant.

Yelp
Went on Thursday for $1 oyster night. They gave us 3 extra oysters for free since service was a bit slow, it's the little things that count! We also ordered french onion soup, the mussels, fries, and lemon tart. The soup and oysters were delicious. Mussels were yummy too but a few of them still had sand. Fries are on the thicker side which is not my preference, but it was still delicious. Do NOT skip on the lemon tart-it slapped! Will come back for their other daily specials.
