"In a residential street of the well-heeled 16th district, chef Julien Dumas (Lucas Carton, Bellefeuille - Saint James Paris) has settled down in this tasteful, stylish eatery. Born in Grenoble, this talented chef avows a passion for the Atlantic Ocean by way of a flavoursome maritime tribute of rare delicacy. Arctic char in butter and tansy, asparagus confit in wax or scallops simply seared to better shout their name, all of which is paired with spot-on seasoning, flawless cooking and delicate associations designed to reveal the full scope and potential of meticulously sourced seafood. Courtesy of immaculate technique, the score also shines the spotlight on vegetables, the chef’s other passion. Delightful, seamless service." - Michelin Inspector

Wonderful michelin worth meal! Better than even some 2 star michelins in Paris. The lobster was sublime along with the peach dessert! Great service with perfect suggestions from the sommelier!

A very cosy ambiance, surrounded by artworks - the furniture, the décor on the tables, the ceramics, in this gastronomic restaurant. 🍽️ The flavours that marked me in the degustation menu were the curry leaf butter, the campari grapefruit granité and the pigeon, cooked to perfection! 🙏 Thank you for your warm welcome, chef Stéphane Gaborieau!

Yelp
Had a good meal at a reasonable price. Fresh caught fish, grilled to perfection with wine and pasta.

Yelp
You know that guy at work who crushed some project 19 years ago and hasn't gotten over it? Le Pergolese is kind of like that guy. The Dover sole - awarded the best dish in 2004 - is indeed pretty amazing. The pineapple and vodka served between courses? Reminiscent of a college party, but served in a monastery-like environment. Everything else? Well, let's just say this place has seen better days. The service was also a little suspect - super formal, to the point of running over and swatting our hand away while we tried to refill our water. It's a Longines at Rolex prices - solid, but not really up to its peers.

Yelp
A rare pearl, French cuisine as its best. Cozy décor and ambiance are not stuffy, and feel like a sophisticated private home dining room. The chef owner was voted Meilleur Ourvrier de France, which is well deserved. This restaurant is a must try, with friendly and helpful staff.

Yelp
A bit of a walk from our Champs Elysees hotel but it was interesting to see the hood. Walking in Paris is always fun anyway. The restaurant was nice without being flashy on the exterior. We were a little concerned because we didn't pack formal clothes but our sport jackets seem to be okay. Our waiter was very apologetic for not speaking English, the sommelier stepped in as interpreter and was very helpful in every way. The chef came out and we spoke briefly, he knows the chef at La Folie SF which we like. On to the food, we couldn't do the tasting menu because my husband and I have very different taste. Regardless, we were very happy with the food and wine selection. It wouldn't be a French meal without a soufflé for desert. The onion soup was awesome and not too salty. My Foie Gras was done to perfection. Price wise, it's not as expensive as an equivalent Michelin Star Restaurant in San Francisco. What a delightful evening!

Yelp
Food and wine were excellent and service attentive. I was blown away. The chocolate cake had THE best chocolate I'd ever tasted in my life. So intense, so rich, sooooo chocolatey. No need to live anymore as nothing else will come even close to that sumptuous moment. I'd heard many times that one could tell a good restaurant by the bread and the restrooms. If the bread is good and the toilets clean, it means there's attention to detail. This place had both. However, it's not a place I'd readily go back to as I prefer an environment less formal and old school. I mean, it was REALLY formal. For example: 1. The place was quieter than a library. We didn't want to speak above a whisper, and this was rather uncomfortable, being too self-conscious to have a personal conversation. Plus, the servers were very attentive that I felt weird knowing eyes were on us. 2. The menu given to the female patron doesn't have any prices. 3. They kept pouring the guy more wine than me!! Old school French thinking is that if you served a woman too much booze, you'd be insulting her, implying she was a prostitute or simply one of loose morals. Gimme a break! And we couldn't even pour our own wine as they kept all bottles of all patrons at a common table against a wall. I really wanted to get up and get the wine and pour myself a full serving, but I figured that would really be too "hillbilly." Overall, I'm very glad I tried this restaurant as the food was just outstanding. However, it's a bit too formal for me. Call me "plebeian."

Yelp
We were excited to have a Michelin starred dinner in Paris so we tried this restaurant based on friends experience and recommendations. Costly mistake at the least. Food was definitely beautiful but steak was raw in the center although or red at medium and had to be sent back. Fish was still moving and was not sushi. Both had to be refired. Now the waiter. Came across nice enough but we needed a cab to the hotel. Waiter was adamant cab would not come to the restaurant. Busboy ended up calling. Waiter asked us to leave so we started to walk to the taxi stand. As we did, the taxi comes up and the waiter then comes out to tell us how lucky we were. He was the reason for the one star as well as the raw food.

Yelp
First off, this is a $$$ place not $$ place. Our bill for 4 of us was almost 600 euro. Not that I minded paying, but wanted to let you know as I was expecting something a tad less. As for the food, I almost fell out of my chair, on to the floor, and started running in circles while laying on my side. The food was fantastic. My wife and I had the tournedos, our friends had the veal. It was perfectly cooked and the sauces were delicately balanced. The fois gras starter was among the best we had during our week in France. The chocolate soufflé was unbelievable. Baked to perfection. Finally, the waitstaff was attentive and helpful. We didn't speak French, and they were still gracious and helpful. Don't miss this one.

Yelp
Yeah very good address! One start Michelin food with a very friendly Meilleur Ouvrier de France Chef at the helm. We had the off menu selection which was simply delicious. Great wine selection too

Yelp
We splurged and dined here in March 2013. You will need to take out a small loan to take full advantage of this Michelin 1-star restaurant. The service is the BEST and the food with wine pairing even better. Suit and tie for the men and the sexy black dress for the women. Lapin for diner: parfait: Pureed chestnut drenched in cognac: parfait.

Yelp
French Cuisine, Star, Paris, Port Maillot Delicious!! I came to Paris on a business trip and wanted a nice place to take my partners. I looked up all the restaurants on the michilin guide, found this one and the rest is history. The food melts in your mouth and the wine is incredible! The service makes you feel like royalty and the atmosphere is so very charming. This restaurant has my highest recommedation!
