Brasserie Seoul Reopens in Boerum Hill With Korean-French Fare | Eater NY

"Park also serves as chef at Bistro Petit, and regulars there will recognize several dishes on Brasserie Seoul’s menu—examples include the seafood bouillabaisse with kimchi, fried tofu with rice gnocchi, and the beef bourguignon-style preparations—reflecting the shared influence of Park’s French training and Korean heritage." - Stefanie Tuder

6/14/2025 Le Petit Bistro 1405 W El Camino Real Mountain View, CA 94040 I went there for an early Saturday dinner. It's an easy to miss place on east bound ECR in MTV. There is some parking in the back, enter from the furniture store lot. It's small and cozy inside. Service was attentive and exceptional. I had the Côtelettes D'Agneau au Jus et aux Herbes de Provence, medium rare; with a complimentary glass of wine with a local paper coupon.. The mint jelly was a perfect marriage with the lamb. It was delicious. I also got the onion soup for take out. This was an excellent French dining experience. It's pricey but worth it. I'll be back.

Google
Such a wonderful little restaurant with authentic French cuisine. Everything was just great: starting with a super friendly service to wonderfully prepared meals. I absolutely loved the onion soup and the duck o’orange. The cheesecake was delicious as well!!! I already made a reservation for July 14th for a very special menu, celebrating the biggest French Holiday. Thank you for a lovely evening!🥰

Google
Everything about the experience was just okay. Service was slow and they spilled water/wine on our table a couple times while pouring. The food didn't have much flavor to it and several things weren't cooked properly (for example, the carrots were undercooked). The duck dish had the most flavor but many of the other dishes were bland.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. It looks low key outside but the foods are authentic and amazing, the atmosphere is relaxed, the owners are extremely nice. My wife is from France and this is our go to place when she feels homesick, definitely the best French restaurant we’ve had in US

Google
Magnificent! A gem in Mountain View! Sssshhhhh don’t tell anyone! It will be harder to get reservations! I love this place because of Michael the owner chef! The food is fantastic but the place isn’t pretentious. This place doesn’t need to pretend it’s great. It is! Have been there twice so far. Going back tomorrow with our daughter this time to share it with her. We just got back from Paris. And need another French food fix! This place is an awesome Bistro even by Paris standards (IMHO), but there is room between the tables! ❤️

Google
Super cute French bistro. We come several times a year. Request sweets breads! They only stock if we have enough people ask. Consistently good. Underrated probably because they are low key and don't do social media. Their audience skews older so they recently went low sodium. Good for bringing parents! And you can always add salt.

Authentic French adapted to today's palate of less heavy sauces. Chef has a deft touch with subtle flavors, clearly attentive to details of spice combinations (but a bit heavy-handed on salt in my beef dish, would take off only 1/2 star if I could). Lovely setting if a bit empty in these pandemic times... but it was a Tue night. The salad was surprisingly well finished despite looking relatively unadorned. Onion soup thick and satisfying. Duck L'Orange had a subtle sauce (not overly sweet) with zest & fresh orange slices, quite a lot of duck meat - a tad overdone. Filet Mignon Madagascar was PERFECT in done-ness (I asked for "the done side of med rare"); the sauce would be better with 20% less salt to make it more palatable & let the peppery taste stand out. I appreciated the added subtle spices added to the side vegetables only. The dessert of Tart Tatin (apple tart) was heavenly - the apple tasted airy & light. Service very attentive; the proprietress took great photos of us.

Very charming French bistro! Service is one of the best in the Mountain View area. I recommend getting their French onion soup, duck liver and pork chop.

Yelp
Overall between a 3.5 to 4 stars It is a small, intimate neighborhood bistro. With the right expectations, it is a good spot for date night or friends gathering dinner! We came on a Wed night and it was slow. There were a total of 3 tables and one waitress. She was great but she was one person so expect services to be slower. There's no fancy plates or wine glasses, just solid French classic dishes. Our appetizer were great, good salad and very yummy French onion soup. For entrees we got the pork tenderloin and chicken cordon bleu. Chicken cordon bleu was really good, pork tenderloin was ok. Not bad but also not memorable. I will get the chicken next time when I come back. House wine was $10 a glass and it was a generous pour. Simple, pleasing CA cab. We got the cheese cake for dessert and that was only ok. I wouldn't get it again.

Yelp
We celebrated my wife's birthday at Le Petit Bistro and we had a wonderful evening. The staff were attentive and very helpful. The food and wine were excellent. My wife and I shared the appetiser (the escargot, super popular as I saw almost all tables ordering it) and the dessert (the mousse au chocolat). For our mains, we got the Coq au Vin and the Pork Medallions Overall, a big thank you to Jean Michel and his staff for a wonderful evening

Yelp
The ambiance was classy, romantic. It felt like I was dining in France - authentic. The food was beyond excellent, particularly the French onion soup. I would go back just for that! The pate was very good but not as special compared to the other appetizers. The escargot would have been excellent if they had added some salt. It was completely bland but very flavorful - garlic, butter, herbs. For entrée, I had the Japanese scallop - OMG! So good... A few layers of flavors and the scallops were cooked to perfection. Anyone who knows how to cook knows that scallops are hard to make, not to mention perfectly done. Dessert - tiramisu. The rum made it even more delicious. The service was great - the owner introduced the daily specials, talked to us about how the food was prepared. You can tell he genuinely wanted to make sure we were happy with the food and everything. He even offered to let us taste a dish before ordering. The server was attentive too, even though she was busy serving 4 other tables. This is a restaurant that deserves a big tip. All in all, I highly recommend this bistro. Reasonably priced. Great service. Excellent food. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
I LOVE this very small restaurant. We have had consistently great food, never rushed, always a nice atmosphere, for years. My birthday dinner last week was again fantastic. I love the French food, French wine and the beautiful sauces from the talented chef. Do not let the outside fool you. This is a true gem for great food. Make a reservation or you will wait on a Sat night.

Yelp
My husband and I got engaged in Paris on New Year's, so it's been our tradition to have New Year's Eve dinner at a local French restaurant. Not many of them were open in the South Bay for NYE unfortunately, but we're always willing to take a drive up the peninsula for new experiences. I found Le Petit Bistro from a Google search and verified that they would be open. I made a request for a reservation a month in advance, which the restaurant accepted. My husband and I had reservations for 5pm. We were one of the first few parties that were at Le Petit Bistro, but the place was filled up by the time we neared the end of our dinner. The restaurant was cute and simple. It didn't exactly give me the Parisian vibe, but it did feel rustic and cozy. That being said, I found that the food at Le Petit Bistro was the most authentic French food since my husband and I spent a month in Paris. Great customer service. Michelle was our main server, and she was the sweetest. The other staff members were also friendly and attentive. When Michelle was running around tending to other tables, I had no problem seeking assistance from other waiters. The food came out in a timely manner, which was a huge plus. Le Petit Bistro offered a prix fixe menu for the evening, but there were a few appetizer that could be ordered a la carte including smoked salmon salad, paté, and escargots. I'm a huge fan of escargots, so I was pleased that Le Petit Bistro had them. The snails were plump, but I did find the butter sauce a bit bland. I got the butter lettuce salad with walnut oil dressing, which was refreshing and a nice palate cleanser. My husband ordered the lobster bisque, and we both agreed that it was top 3 of tastiest and most flavorful lobster bisque we've had. I was expecting it to be thick and creamy, but it had a much thinner broth-like texture. I ordered the scallops as my main course, and it was fantastic. Funny enough, my favorite thing I ate in Paris was a scallop dish. The scallops were sauteéd in an amazing sauce with mushrooms. I also thought that the veggies were steamed perfectly. My husband got the filet mignon. I forgot that the French do medium rare differently than Americans (à point). This was something I didn't miss when we were in Paris, because the meat ends up being slightly rarer than medium rare I'm used to - still very edible though. That being said, the filet mignon was great. For dessert I got the chocolate mousse and my husband got the opera cake. The chocolate mousse, which was so smoothe and silky, was my favorite as I've had better opera cake elsewhere.

Yelp
It was Valentine yesterday, I'd booked a reservation on Monday last week, but when the time to confirm my reservation, there was none. I've made reservation online many times and never a failed one except here. I called a few times and only answering machine. Anyhow, it was a disappointment but luckily we found Chez Christina not to far away and we had a great dinner. I was glad that the reservation system failed me, because if a great establishment shouldn't have inferior booking system. Yes, I filled in name, hour, email and phone #.

Yelp
Instead of going to Left Bank, go to Le Petit Bistro. They have popovers (instead of bread), an excellent selection of French wine, and daily specials. The scallops in béchamel were life changing--perfectly sautéed scallops in a creamy, white sauce. French onion soup was appropriately cheesy, and the escargot was perfectly garlicky. The duck was tender w cheesy scalloped potatoes on the side. A massive portion of duck, including a leg and cut up breast in a delicious sauce. Was too stuffed to get dessert.

Yelp
A must-visit in Mountain View! Le Petit Bistro is a cozy, authentic French restaurant that completely won us over with its warm ambiance, relaxed and friendly owners, and--most importantly--its incredible food, crafted with over 30 years of culinary expertise by Chef Jean Michel Peuvrelle. We started with the escargot, served bubbling in garlicky herb butter--rich, savory, and absolutely irresistible. The fresh French roll made it easy to soak up every last drop. The coq au vin was a standout--Burgundy wine-marinated chicken braised with shallots, mushrooms, and applewood bacon. Each bite was deeply flavorful and fall-off-the-bone tender. A classic dish elevated with heart and skill. We also tried the chicken cordon bleu, which was equally impressive. Crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside, with savory ham and melted cheese at its core. Paired with creamy potatoes and seasonal vegetables, it was delicious and refined. Their menu features a well-rounded variety of French classics, including Demi Canard Rôti à l'Orange--roasted half duck in a luscious orange fruit sauce, Filet de Boeuf au Poivre--a perfectly cooked filet mignon in a Cognac and green peppercorn sauce, and Côtelettes d'Agneau aux Herbes de Provence--tender lamb chops served in an herb-infused jus. Each dish reflects Chef Jean Michel's attention to tradition, balance, and bold yet elegant flavor. We ended with the unforgettable tarte Tatin--a caramelized apple pie topped with crème Chantilly. The apples were golden and sweet, resting on a flaky, buttery crust with the lightest vanilla cream to finish. It was simply divine. With a thoughtfully curated wine list and French-inspired cocktails, the experience at Le Petit Bistro is warm, intimate, and consistently excellent. Whether you're celebrating something special or simply want to indulge in classic French cuisine, Le Petit Bistro in Mountain View delivers every time. We can't wait to return!

Yelp
Love Le Petit Bistro. Very authentic French Bistro food. Service is very friendly and you feel like you're in France!

Yelp
We visited Le Petit Bistro on a Wednesday night and tried a few dishes. Overall, it was just OK--kind of like going to a neighbor's house where they've reheated some leftovers you haven't had before. It tasted fine, but nothing stood out. For the price, I expected something a bit more refined; honestly, I wouldn't see myself spending more than $12 a plate for what we got. Service was decent, and the ambiance was pleasant, but the food didn't quite justify the cost. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to return.
google avatar

Xing Q.

Yelp
Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. Service was fine. The best part of the whole meal was their house red wine, which was surprisingly good. On food, the biggest disappointment was the filet mignon. There was very little sauce and almost no flavor (or seasoning). The filet itself was of poor quality. The one we received was so small that they added another small piece to make it up for it. Also, the side vegetables are aggressively bland. They tasted like they were microwaved. The escargots and duck liver mousse were fine, but not outstanding. The scallops were again pretty disappointing. They were again just not high quality ingredients- the scallops were quite small and the portion size was also small.

Yelp
This was a nice location with healthy options in addition to a variety of pastries. The waitstaff was helpful and attentive. I enjoyed the experience.

Yelp
Was really hoping for better experience from a restaurant with so many positive reviews, but our anniversary dinner was unfortunately underwhelming. The primary waitress is a native French speaker and was friendly and attentive. The entrees were prepared and presented to us at the same time. But the seasoning and flavor on the Coq Au Vin was bland, and the Pork Medallions were too salty. What was actually nice were the accompanying vegetables and mushrooms in each sauce. Premium prices for a meal that was comme ci comme ça. The parking lot is shared with Danish Concepts and patrons have to park in the back only. For some reason all the spaces next to the restaurant are reserved and explicitly signed NOT FOR RESTAURANT.

Yelp
We have been to this restaurant many times and typically we give it a 5 star. Tonight the food fell short and was not up to our high expectations. The onion soup was excellent but the coq au vin was not their typical excellent recipe. It was a slice of chicken breast in a thin chicken broth. It wasnt awful, but it wasn't coq au vin in a rich brown sauce that is flavored with red wine and lean bacon, chicken stock, garlic, onions, mushrooms etc. The chicken pieces are typically dark meat. We will return, and if we order coq au vin I will ask if they are serving the classic dish made with a recipe that Julia Child's would recognize. Service and ambiance was fine, as usual.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant. I can't complain on food everything is so delicious I've been there a few times and service is really good and amazing place.

Pauline J.

Yelp
While the food was good and the service was attentive, I left my purse there by accident. They called me to tell me. I went in the next day they were open and not only could they not find the purse, they disavowed remembering calling me until I pulled out by phone and played them the voicemail. Clearly they have a staff pilfering problem.

Yelp
My favorite French restaurant!. The unique cuisine is fabulous!. My favorite dishes Escargots De Bourgogne, flirt de boeuf Madagascar. Excellent customer service.

Yelp
Food and service were great. I had the duck and it was delish! My date had the coq au vin - also great. We skipped dessert but we should not have!

Yelp
Delicious Provence French food! Excellent friendly helpful service! Subtle flavors, Rich and tender! We are already planning our next visits selections! Merci beau coup Le Petit Bistro!

Yelp
No idea why there are such good reviews. I have never eaten French food that was not good. Old dry rolls, butter in foil wrappers, dry meat, under seasoned and overcooked vegetables, dry cake for dessert. The bathroom was disgusting. For paying $400, we would have expected more!

Yelp
I was excited to try this long-established little spot in Mountain View. I expected great things, especially when the chef/owner called me himself to confirm our booking. Sadly, our meal was not that great. First of all, the parking is difficult to find and barely lit. It was actually dangerous. The vibe inside is ok, a bit dated and tired but ok. I was really craving coq au vin, as I had not had any in years. Imagine my surprise when I was told they were already sold out-at 6:15 in the evening. The cynical part of me thinks that they list the dish at a much lower price and then they say "oops no more" so one is forced to a pricier option. This was annoying because I wanted coq au Vin because I wanted it, not because it was less expensive. And who knows, I could be wrong. I settled on an asparagus soup, followed by a vegetarian puff pastry with Brie. When the soup arrived I knew we were in trouble. Instead of a vibrant bright green, like asparagus, it was sort of a drab, blah olive green. Like it had been made with tinned asparagus. The flavor was just salty. It really did not taste good. The puff pastry with veggies and Brie was ok. Well cooked although the veggies were kind of boring and I am not sure I actually got any Brie. But it was better than the soup. My husband had the French Onion Soup and he liked it. He also had the pork medallions and said they were fine. Not amazing, but fine. Our friends had a green salad (eh) and fish (also eh). Service was lackluster and uninspired. We had a 6:00 reservation and we're still there at 7:40. I am sad to write this review because I know things are very difficult for restaurants these days. But this place seems like it's doing pretty well so I am not sure that putting a little more care into the ingredients is impossible. For now, I don't plan on returning.

Bohan Y.

Yelp
Very cozy and welcoming. Looks like family-owned. Small yet genuine French restaurant. The food is tasty.

Tom B.

Yelp
Because of the pandemic, my wife and I had not been there in a long time. We just recently went back. The owner is the chef. The server is a delightful French woman who has been there a long time. They have a limited menu. However, what they serve is superb!. I have been to France many times. Sitting in this restaurant makes me feel as if I was on a street in Paris. The chef/owner takes great pride in what he offers. I had a chance to see him in the kitchen. It was like watching an artist at work. The concentration as he tasted his creations was intense. You could tell that if it was not perfect, it was not leaving the kitchen. We are lucky to have this restaurant available to us.

Yelp
First time at Le Petit Bistro was on June 30, 2018 when my husband and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, service was nice, but we were not impressed by the food. Hubby commented that we paid fine dining prices for a lower quality dining experience. We agreed that we would likely not return. For Father's Day, 2021, Dad specifically wanted Canard Roti a L'orange. I tried to find a different restaurant who served the dish, but Le Petit Bistro was the only place I could find from San Jose to San Francisco who offered this duck plate. Needless to say, we celebrated the holiday here. The food was much better this time... Unlike Left Bank and Le Papillon, Le Petit Bistro is managed by francophones - the wait staff are all friendly and French speaking, adding to a true French experience. The bathroom is well kept and if their small parking lot is full, street parking doesn't appear to be difficult to find. For appetizers, my dad and his wife both ordered the Escargots de Bourgogne. I don't eat snails, but I did dip my bread in the the garlic butter sauce. It was good, but the taste was short of something (I couldn't figure out what it seemed to be missing). Sissy started off with a cup of Vichyssoise while I had the Mousse de Foie de Canard. Again, both were not bad, but they lacked full flavour. I also did not favor the house-made bread (I thought it had an unpleasant taste), but everyone else at the table found nothing wrong with it. Obviously, for the Entree course, Dad had the Canard Roti a L'orange and everyone else ordered the Filet de Boeuf au Poivre Vert de Madagascar. Dad was pleased with his main dish and the overall consensus on the Filets (five ordered) was that they were enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised by my steak, which, I must say, successfully reversed my initial unwillingness to return to Le Petit Bistro. Evidently, like people, some places deserve second chances.

Great French onion soup. Great service, Great experience. The owners were so very nice & helpful.

Yelp
The food was standout fine. The mussels were perfectly prepared, not overly garlicky, soft, just perfect. Canard (crispy skin) falling from the bone. Sweet breads ( call ahead if you want these) subtly flavored and just right. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We came here for our annual Christmas date and so happy to know that they were open on Christmas Eve. The place was old-school, but that what made the place charming. It is not the loud-typical-silicon-valley-hipster restaurant, but it was a homey, cozy, french bistro with a friendly service. We ordered the asparagus soup and baked scallops and shrimp as starters. The warm french bread (crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside) was served complimentary with delicious whipped butter (I think it was) with paprika. This truly brought me back to eating a french baguette in France. The soup was creamy but light and seasoned perfectly. The scallop and shrimp was warm, lightly cheesy and had comforting-homecooked-feel. We both opted for the chateaubriand as our main dish. The plate arrived looking beautiful, with the meat perfectly cooked medium rare. There is a wine-shallot reduction sauce that came with the steak, along with delicious au-grautin potatoes and steamed veggies. The food portion was perfect and we ate everything on pur plate. The food was good, non pretentious and homey. We also ordered a creme brulee and the Christmas log cake for desserts. They brought the whole log cake to show it to you. So cute. The service could feel a tad slow at times, but they were all very courteous and sweet. It's not the kind of service and feeling that you get these days in most other restaurants where servers just got down to business and rushing all the time. It's a nice place to be for a quiet dinner, where you can actually have conversations with your dining mate (and hear each other), enjoy a sip of wine with your meal (the house red wine that I had was delicious), and left happy and peaceful. Prices were reasonable for the type of cuisine and dining ambiance. We will certainly come back for a peaceful dinner date in the future :). What a great little local spot that we're so happy to find. To our surprise, we got a bottle of wine as a gift from the owner, how sweet! This charming local spot deserves a full star!

Yelp
This quaint little restaurant is a personal favorite of ours. The food and service is great and brings you back to the Paris cafes. Our favorites are the escargot and the duck confit.

Yelp
We arrived on time for our reservation and we were told all tables were given to other people and we had to come back at least half an hour later. It's the first time I experience this in the USA. We left and we will never go back to this place. I am French and my friends often ask me to recommend some French restaurants. Well at least I know where they should NOT go

Yelp
A wonderful little bistro which has been serving traditional French cuisine for 30 years. Le Petit Bistro is an institution in Mountain View and the Chef/owner Jean-Michel keeps the highest standards. In this difficult time I a suggested to Jean-Michel to setup outdoor seating as he is struggling like most restaurants. Jean-Michel was adamant he would not do that as he felt he couldn't give the best service possible outside. Le Petit Bistro DOES OFFER TAKE OUT. The presentation of the take out is top notch. The food is as good as eating at the restaurant albeit the ambiance of the place is missing off course. I think during this difficult time of covid-19, we can all be a little understanding. I still enjoy the wonderful meals from Le Petit Bistro and would urge you to support this establishment. The take out menu is at : https://sites.google.com/view/lepetitbistromv/takeout-menu

Yelp
Coq Au Vin and Halibut special shown in photo - real French bistro food from a real French Chef - always good - solid portions and friendly service fantastic in restaurant or carry-out - can't think of a better locally owned business to support !

Yelp
Our favorite spot, a French Chef, a traditional menu, a small bistro.... Perfect!!!! The alternative to loud hipster restaurants with trendy cuisine. "It's old-school but not outmoded, with an exacting code of beliefs that owner/chef Jean-Michel Peuvrelle has carried with him throughout his life". Polar opposite of corporate chains that are pervasive throughout the SF Bay Area.

Yelp
Christmas Eve-Reveillon de Noel- What a lovely experience. My friends and I were the first ones there-for the first time. Gradually the little restaurant filled with very happy people-many of them knowing and expecting a superior meal. And we, and they, got it. There were well behaved children, couples and little old ladies, all catered to by a very efficient and friendly staff. We all had filet mignon-excellent. Lovely tartes. Kir Royales-who can ask for anything more? Un bon repas. Merci.

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday evening with a reservation. This is such a lovely restaurant that looks almost like a gallery. The menu has plenty of options (there're some special items written on the whiteboard on the wall as well!) and we ordered snails, duck liver, the dish with tenderloin pork, and Portobello mushroom in puff pastry. I love their bread with the butter/sauce yet we waited for quite a long time for the entree (there's only one chef). To me both entrees are kinda salty especially the sauce, but I like the visual of all four dishes! The staff/server would speak in French for some words which I found interesting.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I came to this restaurant for dinner on Valentine's Day night in 2023. I made a reservation for 8pm two weeks in advance and called once more to confirm the location. This restaurant is a very small bistro with not many seats and the entrance reception is in the lobby. We walked to the reception desk and waited for a long time. There were three waitresses and one male waiter who saw us waiting at the door, but no one greeted us. After being ignored for about five minutes, I stopped the male attendant and was able to get a seat. Interestingly, when I sat down, we found several pairs of white diners who were greeted as soon as they entered, without any wait. After sitting down, I noticed that the table was dirty, with lots of bread crumbs and dust, and I offered the two waitresses, one after the other, that the tablecloth was dirty and to wipe it for us. No one paid any attention to us. One of the waitresses served the bread without saying a word and left without looking back. After that, I asked one of the waitresses that we needed some extra napkins, and after she agreed, we waited for a long time and no one came back to give us napkins. So I had to walk to the counter myself and ask them for paper. Then a waitress served us cutlery and bread. After eating the bread, I noticed that the steak knife I was served was dirty and had a lot of stains on it which was very sticky. So I asked for a new steak knife, and a waitress (who seemed to be the manager) came over to help me change the knife. I complained to this manageress about my experience and she rudely interrupted me without listening and said to change our tablecloth even though it was not what I asked for. After they took away our tablecloths, they threw two large white sheets of paper randomly on our table as tablecloths. Meanwhile, all the other tables had normal tablecloths on them. We felt offended and voiced our displeasure, so the manageress told us to switch to another table. When we got to the other table and we were eating, we found out that we were not provided with forks, so we had to ask them for forks again. Food wise, they only have four choices on the menu for Valentine's Day, appetizers and desserts are fixed, and there are four choices of beef, lamb, fish and duck for the main course, with prices ranging from $105 to $125. But their food is not at all worthy of the price. The pre-dinner bread was hard and didn't have much flavor. There was no choice for the appetizer, which was a small bowl of lobster bisque with some salad. The lobster bisque was salty and didn't have any lobster meat in it, just a bowl of brine. The salad had a simple oil and vinegar dressing and looked like it was bought from costco and thrown on the plate. For the main course, the steak was okay, the medium rare we ordered was cooked right, and the side dishes were okay. The steak was about the $35-$45 level of the outside restaurants. My duck was very old and not much seasoning. It tasted like the $20 roast duck meat at a Chinese restaurant. There were two choices for dessert, apple pie and cheesecake. The apple pie was about the level of any apple pie you can get in any American supermarket. The cheesecake was also awful and not much different from the supermarket. When my girlfriend was halfway through the cheesecake, she put her fork down and found a big soft black mold on the bottom of the cheesecake. We shone a flashlight and took a lot of pictures as evidence after confirming that it was mold. I raised my hand to the waiter and he came over and I said there were obvious black mold spots on the bottom of the cake. He brought the cake into the back kitchen and luckily we took pictures as evidence. Here comes the climax. After five minutes, a tall chef came out of the back kitchen with a chef's uniform full of stains, or aged stains. The chef was furious and told me that it was grilled pecan, and I said that grilled pecan couldn't be that color, it should be hard coffee colored particles. I cook and bake a lot myself, there is no way I can't tell the difference between grilled pecan and mold. He suddenly disliked me with particular anger, saying that he had been making cakes for forty-five years and could make them with his eyes closed. His exact words: "You are wrong. I am right. You are wrong. I am always right. The most outrageous thing is that he very, very proudly said: "You should be grateful that I serve you tonight". I was shocked, how he had the face to say such words, he repeated two or three more times. After that, he said that other cake slice also had this on it. I said, "Then show me the ingredients, or find another cake with the same black spots. He stopped talking and went into the kitchen. After that I found the male waiter, who seemed to be the owner or manager or something, because I saw him taking a glass and pouring a glass of wine for himself while serving. I said to him, you tell this dessert chef to give me an apology b

Yelp
This was a very cozy place with great caring and respectful staff. I started off with the union soup, then a rack of lamb, It was just AMAZING. Our waitress Ana was very thorough and checked on us frequently. We enjoyed our time there. I would recommend this place for anyone on a romantic date or if you want to have a sit-down meal with the whole family. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
2.0 stars. Pros: 1. Bread and dip tasted good. 2. Can make reservations 3. Steak and lamp chop are ok. Cons: 1. Service: they forget my onion soup. Bring me wrong entree. I am ok if these is family restaurants, but if you fails to count how many dishes people order, that is very wrong. 2. Service: dishes takes forever to come. We waited 45mins. 3. Quality: orange duck looks like cardboard. Dry. Old. Dark. See picture. 4. Quality: My entree Scallops: it is not fresh, no seasoning and it is bitter. Sauce is thin like milk. 5.. Selection: No kids friendly dishes. No pasta, no kids menus. Kid order scallops and it tasted so bad they refuse to eat. Only 1 vegetarian options entree. 6. Parking lot is very small and odd shape. There is not enough parking spaces.

Yelp
I love this place, i did take out just a day ago, and the food is so good . I ordered the filet mignon, it was delicious, comes with veggies, potatoes scallops and rice pilaf. That's a lot and i was happy!!! My hubby had the cordon bleu. He loved it. We also ordered a good bottle of wine and dessert Everything was fantastic!!! The chef , who I believe is also the owner of this cute hole in the wall of a gem said he hopefully will start having indoor dining next week. We are definitely will be one of his first customers for the indoor dining

Yelp
My husband and I live nearby (lucky enough to be in walking distance) and have enjoyed the hidden gem that is Le Petit Bistro for some time now. The food is delicious, the ambiance warm and friendly, and the chef/owner and his wife go above and beyond to always welcome us and make our dining experience an excellent one. I am by no means an expert in French cuisine, but I definitely appreciate good food, and you can tell that the food is cooked with love, authenticity, and a meticulous attention to detail to make sure that every bite is fantastic. From the freshly baked bread to the amazing desserts worth every calorie, I have never had a bad dish here. The prices are very reasonable too, especially given how good the food is. Recently, we stopped by early one windy night when the power was out in Mountain View. The restaurant began filling up with other customers, many regulars, and we all had a delectable and memorable meal dining by candlelight. It made for yet another charming experience that totally epitomizes this lovely restaurant.

Yelp
Le Betit Bistro, one of a kind. It has been around since 1989. I went for the first time and loved it. My parents and brothers family have been many times. You are treated as family and they bend over backwards to help you. The food is wonderful and if you have allergies let the Chef know he loves a challenges. He does not change what he is cooking only how it is cooked and allows you to enjoy the dish as it was meant to be.

Yelp
A par for course French restaurant. Ambience was homey and more of a "cottage" feel. Family run and it felt like it. The staff were nice, albeit quite slow - it took them about 5 minutes while we stood at the front waiting for somebody to come over and seat us for our reservation we had. We ordered a lobster bisque and Caesar salad to start. Both were better than expected. The bisque was creamy but light - quite a few chunks of lobster in there too. Great with the bread to dip. The salad was fairly small for the price. I expected something I could share a bit more, but it was more personal sized. For mains, my girlfriend had the scallops with cheese sauce on it with beans and potatoes on the side. The cheese was soooooo good. And the scallops were large and delicate. Just how it's made. I had the filet mignon and it was just so soft and tender. It cut so easily and gushed with juice. Definitely the best thing on their menu I think - there's a hard line to beat on that steak and I'm glad I had it. On the downside, all the sides on our plates were bland and had no creativity or ingenuity in them. My steak was great, but the potatoes, beans, and carrots had no flavor. I mean, could you just add some salt and pepper?? It's sad to say, but the delicious main dishes are just marred by the poor plating and lack of flavor in the sides. A side dish should accentuate the flavors of the main, or produce synergy so you keep eating and having fun. I hope the restaurant learns to change the menu to add some complexity to the plate.
