Le Petit Bouillon Pharamond - Review - Les Halles - Paris - The Infatuation

"You'll have plenty of time to peruse the menu while lining up outside this picturesque three-story bouillon—and that’s to your advantage. Once you take your seat, you’ll find lightning-quick service. Zero in on the house specialties, like the lusciously gelatinous slow-cooked tripe, and the mashed potatoes that are just as good as Mom’s. Skip the bargain bin wine in favor of sparkling crémant d’Alsace. If the line is too long, put your name on the list and wait at the Irish pub next door until the server comes to fetch you when your table is ready." - Emily Monaco

The experience was overall pleasant. The steak frites were good, and the sausage was also tasty, the sauce and potato purée were particularly nice. The snails were also nicely seasoned and marinated. Overall, it offers good value for money, though the service was quite slow.

Amazing culinary experience here! Everything I ordered was very tasty! I only wish there was a bit more bone marrow in the portion. The service was good and efficient. The prices are surprisingly affordable. The restaurant looks beautiful. Highly recommended!

The place looked fancy, but the prices were surprisingly affordable. The staff were neither overly accommodating nor rude. We tried their marrowbone, butcher’s cut, and smoked pork. The marrowbone and butcher’s cut were delicious, but the smoked pork didn’t quite live up to my expectations. I enjoyed the way it was cooked, but it lacked flavour. Since we were a bit full, we didn’t get to try their other dishes. However, I can confidently say that this place is worth your money if you’re on a budget. The service was quite fast, and I recommend booking a table a night before your planned date.

I really recommend making a reservation. Because the wait line is incridible. The server speaks a little english, they have english menu and the service was fast The food price is affordable and the presentation was so so Fyi, they cant adjust the menu, for example change fries to mashed potatoes, but you can order mashed potatoes as an extra. They forgot to give me glass for my cider And it would be nice if they have a little description on the menu for dessert. I ordered something with apple, the waiter said its an ice cream and i expected it to be sweet. They didnt informed me it has alcohol in it and taste bitter

Traditional French cuisine restaurant opened over 100 years located around Chatelet. Lunch time they don’t take reservations so better go early. You can try most of the French traditional food here with really reasonable prices. Highly recommended for travellers . Simple and traditional decorations with very effective services, will come back again.

We didn’t have the best service, the waiter rushed us but didn’t rush the French couple next to us, we didn’t even get appetizers or dessert because of how fast they wanted us out. I saw that they did treat people that were French better and even when we tried ordering in French, the waiter seemed annoyed. The food itself was okay, the mashed potatoes needed seasoning and the chicken was very unsalted. The food came out cold but you get what you pay for. I think this is a one and done place but glad I got to try it out since it was on our list.

Very reasonable price and good portion for girls. The dishes were all delicious especially the snails and fries. Love it! Although the seating arrangement was a bit small and very close to the next table.
