Google
Absolute best! This place just became my favorite French restaurant in Paris. Everything is extremely good, quality of ingredients, seasoning you can’t go wrong here. The team is so sweet and fast, great cozy restaurant with beautiful light. Joue de bœuf as a main and artichoke as a starter with ceviche were my favorites. Will be back for sure. Psst Don’t forget the tarte tatin 🍎

Lovely place for a meal! The waiter was so friendly and the food was brilliant. We were hoping to get their boullion (which I believe they're well known for) but was told it was a winter dish instead. Either way, the food was amazing and I'm almost glad the boullion wasn't there as an option! The tuna was to die for - perfectly cooked and went surprisingly well with it's sesame crust. The steak and veal was perfection; with a crispy crust and juicy inside. The artichoke starter was also a winner, beautifully paired with a creamy sauce. The tart tatin was also amazing - the apple cooked and not too sweet with a buttery drizzle and cream.

Google
Food was outstanding, another level of cooking. Atmosphere was nice, the wine was amazing. The lime tart was HUGE. Excelent clams , beef bourginions was on a whole other level , one of the best i tried in Paris. + the guys are very nice and helpfull with everything u need. You have to try this place. Go make a reservation a week before, otherwise it s hard to find a table

The food was excellent. Razor clams a buttery delight. The « rognon » is one of the best I’ve ever had… the sauce is sublime. The one little thing that was a bit less desirable was the volume of the music. It got progressively louder in the small dining room on a Sunday evening. At the end of the meal , all I wanted to do was to finish and get out. Otherwise… a delicious dinner in a wonderful restaurant.

Google
This is an absolute must-visit! Classic French bistro with hearty, refined, best-in-class traditional cuisine with a modern twist. Fabulous atmosphere, highly modern wine list with rare biodynamic and natural finds, but not too wild to fit to a traditional travellers‘ taste. Service and kitchen performance - genius, given the minuscule size of the team and the really modest square meters of the kitchen. A rare gem of a bistro worth a detour (or two!)

Google
Buzzy bistro with great food. The scene gathers here on Sundays for lunch by Chef Jais, music, and vibe.

Google
We loved this restaurant, food was elevated brasserie food executed to the perfection, service was friendly and casual, and the place has a real homey feel to it. The only downside is that the wine list pushes you toward expensive bottles since the cheaper options (already at 60 euros) are very limited.

One cannot help but appreciate the inviting atmosphere of Le Petit Célestin. The outdoor seating area exudes a charming and cozy vibe, perfect for enjoying a meal on a sunny day or a warm evening. However, when it comes to the culinary aspect, Le Petit Célestin falls short of expectations. The menu lacks the creativity and innovation that one would hope for in a restaurant of this nature. Instead, it offers a rather predictable selection of traditional French bistro dishes. While the food is not terrible by any means, it is, unfortunately, just average. The dishes lack the wow factor and unique flair that can elevate a dining experience. The flavors are decent, but there is a lack of imagination and excitement in the menu offerings. In summary, Le Petit Célestin offers a charming outdoor ambiance that sets the stage for a pleasant dining experience. However, the lack of culinary creativity in the menu offerings leaves the overall impression somewhat lackluster. If you're looking for a simple and traditional French bistro experience, Le Petit Célestin may fit the bill, but don't expect any groundbreaking culinary experiences.

Yelp
I came on a Tuesday evening without a reservation, and while the outdoors was completely booked, I was able to be seated indoors. I ordered the Cœur de Rumsteack, and between the steak itself and its sauce, it was delicious! It comes with French fries, which I happily used to clean up the sauce left on my plate. The server seemed to have noticed this as they brought me two little cups of sauce: one with the sauce from my main course, and another with a gravy. It was such a kind gesture, and I was happy as I was able to try their spectacular gravy. The two servers waiting the whole restaurant treated me so kindly, I left a very happy guest!

Yelp
Authentic Parisian bistro. You definitely need a reservation as it is very popular with the locals. The food was wonderful especially dessert! Can't wait to return. Jack the maitre'd was most helpful and attentive.

Yelp
Horrible service. I'm a reoccurring customer at Le Petit Celestin. The food is always impeccable, and I've always had an amazing experience with the exception to my most recent visit. This time it was clear I was not accepted due to my being an American. I am American but I am living in Paris and politely spoke French when I booked the reservation, when I arrived, and when I ordered. They brought all entrees and plats out at the same time, left the dirty dishes on our table for 1.5 hours (we had to stack them ourselves to make space), all while other tables got the usual treatment between each course, plates cleared, were checked in on, etc. The treatment was really unfortunate. The table next to us could even tell. I spoke to our server at the very end to share my concerns. He quickly realized I was not oblivious to the treatment. I've dined all throughout Europe and understand the process. We spent nearly 150 euro on our meal, and mind you, hundreds before this trip at Le Petit Celestin. We would've happily ordered more wine, food, and desserts but after the differential treatment was clear, we chose to not spend any more money nor our time. It was a true disappointment as I've recommended this restaurant to NUMEROUS friends and my mother flew into town to enjoy this meal on (US) Mother's Day to recreate my amazing memories made at this restaurant, which this time wound up horribly due to Le Petit Celestin's service.

Yelp
Our go-to spot when we want an inviting vibe and knowingly delicious foods. The crab dish and the steak always deliver. Always a comfort and great service. A lively quintessential neighborhood bistro in Paris!

Yelp
We actually found this place by mistake. It ended up being one of the best things we experience in Paris. The food, staff and vibe were amazing! If ever in Paris I suggest visiting this place. Thank me later :)

Yelp
My favorite little bistro in Paris, awesome traditional food... The waiter/owner is a bit of an ass, they are annoyed by Americans but overall you should defiantly come for the food.

Yelp
We recently dined at this restaurant armed with a reservation. We elected to eat outside since the weather was pleasant. We were sat immediately. The food was quite good, service was typical French (meaning not hurried - this was out table for the night if we wanted. There are no turning tables in most restaurants in France), the wines and desserts were outstanding. The scene was a a mix of mostly regulars of all ages. Few tourists. However, the risk of dining outside is not the rain; it's the smoker. So, be careful when dining outside because our meal was accompanied by half a pack of Marlboro's. Next time, it'll be inside for us.

Yelp
I was looking for a classic French gourmand experience and this wonderful little hidden gem did not disappoint. This restaurant came highly recommended by a colleague and he was spot on in how incredible this place was in so many ways. It was a cozy, delicious and very reasonable dinner: for a party of 4 we managed to share 2 starters, charcuterie, entrees for each, and 2 bottles of wine for around €100. The best part was it truly is a "locals only" spot and you're nearly guaranteed you won't find any tourists...at least not yet!

Yelp
Great, sunny patio with a homey vibe. Staff was very friendly and personable. Small bistro with local brews, vino, dogs and a very French menu. I was very happy to stumble upon this place, as it ended up being one of my favorites whilst in Paris.

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant in the surroundings of our house. In no particular order we like: - seasonal dishes: the menu changes quite often - traditional yet elaborated food - the wine list (and the off-list bottles) carefully selected, with a focus on biodynamic and low-sulfit producers - the staff, always friendly - the atmosphere: this is the kind of place where you end up talking with other tables. - nice little terrace with south exposure, so pretty sunny We highly recommend this place, it's always packed with locals, so in fact it's a good choice to discover traditional Parisian brasserie

Yelp
Excellent traditional French food in a warm, friendly atmosphere at very reasonable prices.
