"On the town’s main square, the ground floor of a traditional edifice is the HQ of this ‘Parisian - style’ bistro. It is decorated with a jumble of old furniture and knick - knacks picked up by the owners, and it serves market - fresh cuisine, sourced only from local producers. Everything, or almost, is homemade. Four pretty rooms for overnight stays." - Michelin Inspector

We have been cycling across France and our two night stay at Le Petit Chou will be the highlight of our trip. The rooms are lovely and the dinner is an experience not to be missed. We could have stayed for much longer. Entraygues sur Truyere is a beautiful place and there is no better place to stay than Le Petit Chou.

Great food. Limited choice ( between 2 menus of fish or meat ), but freshly cooked and good flavours and combinations. Owner choose the wine which was not expensive and a good choice. In fact this is one of those rare places nowadays where you eat what the chef cooks on the day based on season etc. Highly recommended. Small restaurant , so book. ( note : this is a review of the restaurant - chou rouge - not the b&b ). ~110e for two, for 3 courses plus wine plus a number of amuse-bouche.

Yesterday we visited the Chou Rouge restaurant and it was amazing. The food is local and incredibly tasty and the service was sublime. Especially the Baba au Rhum (with delicious homemade spiced rum) was to die for.

This was a great place. We had a huge room, la Framboise, with a lovely balcony overlooking the main square of this beautiful little town. The room was full of quirky old French furniture although the nespresso machine was a nice modern touch and there was also a range of speciality teas in the room from the tea shop downstairs. Breakfast was included and was really good, but unfortunately, we did not manage to eat in the restaurant as it was closed during our stay.||||Overall, a delightful experience.

Congratulations to the host of this stunning B&B for the incredible effort he has put in to making this B&B the most beautiful place. The amount of thought and detail put into all the styling is commendable. We had 3 nights here and loved every minute. The rooms are all individually styled and are very comfortable. We stayed in Olive and had the luxury of a large beautiful bathroom. The teas and coffees supplied in the rooms are fabulous.|The breakfast each morning was an absolute treat. The juice, yogurt, fruit purée, croissants and breads were Devine. The tea menu is outstanding. The breakfast room is so quaint with lots of goodies to purchase. |The restaurant next door was outstanding.|We 4 Aussies would like to thank our host for all his efforts. He works so hard to make everything perfect.

Booked into Le Petit Chou as part of a cycle trip to Marseille. The owner kindly let us store our bikes inside the restaurant that was closed at the time. The room was very roomy and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was fresh with a great selection of jams and teas. It was nice to stay in a unique B&B rather than a soulless hotel. The owner spoke good English which was greatly appreciated.

This is a fabulous B&B run by a lovely couple Élodie and Émilien. All the rooms are UNIQUE in style, colour and décor. The bathrooms are modern and the beds have wonderful linen sheets. The towels were the best we had of all the places we stayed at. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The hardworking couple also own a treat shop, a tea room and a restaurant and you can see they work hard to please. The food for dinner and the wine selection was great. Breakfast the following day was offerred in the quaint tea room and was lovely.Émilien made us the best picnic sandwiches we had in 2 weeks. UN MUST as they say in french!
