From the moment I stepped through the door I was welcomed with a warm atmosphere, the shop itself was beautiful from the decor to the pastries and breads. I got a few pastries and a latte, and spent time asking questions to the staff. It was by far the best latte I have had in ages.Everyone was friendly and amazing. The sound of laughter as they worked was contagious and I couldn't help but smile too. I went to ask about orders for valentines day coming up and was able to speak with one of the chefs, they were so patient and kind and able to answer all my questions. It's rare for me to leave a review but it really brightened my day and I wanted to share that so others can have a similar experience. Thanks so much for making my day!

Had an early Christmas dinner tonight with family. We had our traditional dessert, Buche de Noel (Chocolate). This year, I picked it up from Le Petit Four. It had the required meringue too. It was the best ever, we all loved it. Highly recommend it. By the way, their baguette and quiche are also excellent.

What can I say. A gem. An absolute gem. They could do more cakes or things cake style… options. However that said… you can’t find better. This is a young business and is already way ahead of others. And I LOVE apricots - and oh, gosh, what tasty treats awaited. They are incredibly accommodating. Just ask. They are polite - which these days is a rarity and very much appreciated. And noticed. Kindness matters. The staff is so nice and it’s refreshing to be reminded of what class and status used to be like. People proud of their positions and jobs. And product. They actually package, with great care, what you purchase. And they place them in wonderful bags with handles! And they smile! Before, the only game in town was Quebrada Bakery. This is many notches above! Many, many. Pertaining to the difference … in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. But, I think that one eyed king was dethroned. Here 'both eyes are wide open' and paying attention to every detail. It’s a gem. A delight. We’ve traveled often and abroad… this little gem 💎 is doing it right. Let’s hope they stay as they are. Oftentimes once a business becomes successful they start taking shortcuts - rethinking things - grow too fast - and before you know it the charm is gone. Don’t rush. Stay the course. Be patient. This is an oasis within a wasteland… where there once were searchers seeking ‘a home’ and from this small corner a light shined forth welcoming strangers who sought comfort… and finally… with a softened breath people lined up in patient appreciation, as children do, hearts filled with gratitude. Yes, it’s that good. Just go… you’ll be glad you did.

Absolute gem! This bakery is a benchmark, and most likely the best one you can find in greater Boston, Everything is absolutely delicious, from the Croissants, to the cheese and mushrooms Danish, everything is an order of magnitude above top notch. The only item that was not a 7 stars out of 5 was the Kouign Amann (Butter cake from Brittany): Still 5 out 5, and better than anything you can find around, but a little too much caramel for my taste. I'll definitely order it again, but I'll remove the excess. I will definitely be back on a regular basis.

I and my daughter love your bakery and drink very much! Always staff are very friendly and smile to us. Kids friendly. Taste is really good!! My favorite is ham and cheese croissant also almonds croissant!!

I find it hard to locate cafes/ bakeries that do well in BOTH their pastries and coffees and Le Petit Four did just that! We got 3 vanilla iced lattes with cinnamon and tasted amazing. We also loved their quiches and focaccia bread. Everything we tried was really delicious and the location is great :)

Confectioneries to hold your breath for! As the saying goes, they'd be to die for - but then I wouldn't be around to enjoy the goodies!! We brought the pastries home... Each one was worthy of a repeat performance. And a repeat is definitely in the cards!

Ordered two almond chocolate and what I received were almond with no chocolate. Too loud in there with the music blasting. The lady in front of me thought the same thing. First time and the last time. I rather visit the Natick Mall for French pastry. It's peaceful and I know what I am getting.

The croissants, pastries and sandwiches are uniformly excellent and hard to resist. But I have to say, I'm surprised by reviews that hate on the service and/or servers. I stop in there as often as possible and always get friendly, efficient service. It's notable because they are often very busy yet remain patient for those of us who are having trouble narrowing our choices. At the end of the line the baristas seem always to have something friendly to say. As a whole I'm always happy with the service and food. And I'm impressed with their seeming commitment to improvement by adding things like weekend specials and summer ice cream.

With several more visits under my belt -- literally and figuratively -- I'm appreciating them more and more. All the observations from my first review remain true, except I discovered they DO have a restroom. The croissants and other pastries keep getting better and better. A few specifics: -- Chocolate Croissant: Haven't had a warm one, but they're always fresh, buttery, crackly, and fluffy. Decent chocolate too. -- Blueberry Danish: Both key components shine here. The blueberries are fresh, sweet, and have a good bite, plus enough compote between them to keep things moist. The vessel is very crunchy, very buttery, and very fresh. Worth getting often. -- Kouign Amann: Theirs is superior to all others I've ha, which can lean toward the plain side, but at Le Petit Four they deftly combine crunchy, flaky, doughy, airy, buttery, and syrupy-- in all the right places. Even slightly warm at opening. -- Sugar Brioche: This one DOES lean toward the plain side, with the large crystals of sugar elevating it past mere bread. For those who like subtle. Likable, but I like everything else more enough to probably not get it again. -- Almond Croissant: Good size, good crunch, and plenty of filling that tastes natural, not like chemicals. -- Pain au Raisin: Swirly, with lively raisins, soft dough and just a bit of crunch. One try was warm. A good rendition. Coffee is pretty solid too. Service still friendly and efficient. Plenty of free and easy parking. Reasonable pricing compared with the competition of similar quality. Best time to come for both quality and seating is weekday mornings, when most customers are taking their bounty to work.

Phenomenal! I over order every time I come here, and I never regret it. All of the pastries are fresh and flavorful, and the laminated ones shatter and flake perfectly. The space is really small, so be prepared to wait a bit if you're looking to sit. Luckily there's plenty of parking and outdoor seating in the warmer weather. The ube latte is so unique and delicious, it's a sweet treat in itself. Apricot danish and kouign amann were the fan favorites. Millefeuille and mushroom danish were my personal favorites. But seriously you can't go wrong with anything here. Least favorites (but still very good!) were the sandwiches. Our filled brioche came unfilled, but after contacting them they handled it so professionally and the refund was seamless.

My partner and I recently popped into Le Petit Four Bakery in Wellesley for coffee (me) and tea (her) and, of course, the croissants. We were looking for something special -- and Le Petit Four Bakery definitely delivered. The plain croissant was exceptional: buttery, flaky layers with a crisp exterior and a soft, tender center. Many other reviewers say the same, noting that the croissants here rival those in Paris. The pastries are clearly made with high-quality ingredients and real French technique. There is usually a line, especially on weekends, but the staff is efficient and it moves quickly enough. Seating is very limited, and the indoor space feels more like a grab-and-go bakery than a café. Fortunately, there are some large shared picnic tables outside, which work well if the weather is nice. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere is bright and casual. It's not a place to linger over a long breakfast, but for top-notch croissants and a special pastry stop, Le Petit Four really shines. Oh, we also picket up a baguette to take home with us. It too was very, very good. No photos this time. Sorry. Overall, excellent baked goods and a very enjoyable visit. 5 stars.

Noticed Le Petit while visiting another business in this small business park. Very cute and small inside. Everything looks delicious and fresh. I've tried a variety of sweet items from the croissants, macaroons, to eclaires. - almond croissants were the best! - macaroons were pretty small and expensive at $3.50/piece - make sure to check your order if you have a large amount of items, I noticed some things were left out, and I had to go back - sandwiches looked fresh with crusty, bread. Definitely wanna try those next Not a ton of parking as this is a small lot.

Amazing. Incredible. Superlatives can't do this place justice. I occasionally do a morning bike ride through Wellesley and have added this place as a much-needed stop along the way. Impossible to say what are the must-try's, as everything looks and smells like you should buy it immediately. For my first visit, I went with the apricot Danish because fruit/cheese Danishes are my weakness - it was very heavy, beautifully generous apricot filling, and though I generally prefer my pastries to be a bit lighter, I had no problem finishing this in a few bites. Also tried the ham and cheese croissant which was much better - do yourself a favor and ask for it toasted. Couldn't keep track of everything else I want to try - the sausage roll, the almond croissant, the caprese baguette, the quiche. I really liked the little seating area with comfy couches. Also a parking lot in front.

Best French bakery in the Western Suburbs, I think. Beautifully executed eclairs, caneles, excellent pastries and baguette. Is everything always 100% perfect? No, of course not. But it's 90% for sure. Service is efficient despite always being busy. You only need to see the lines almost always out the door to know what we locals think of it. More seating would be nice, but not enough room for that...

I love their pastries!! They are buttery, flakey, and delicious! You can tell how seriously they take their craft. The shop is so cute, everyone is nice. Overall it's an amazing spot.

Le Petit Four Bakery opened their Wellesley location at Playhouse Square in January 2025. They had a short popup a month before at this location, which had overwhelming support with a long line out the door and they sold out quickly. This local French bakery & cafe serves up a good variety of croissants, pastries, sweet treats, eclairs, tartes, small desserts, savory treats, baguettes, sandwiches, coffee & espresso drinks. The pricing is moderate here. I stopped by Le Petit Four in Wellesley over the weekend. There was already a long line before the doors opened for business. Staff was also seen unloading trays and boxes of treats, likely from their Needham location. It took about 15 minutes for me to reach the long glass counters, which were fully stocked with all sorts of treats. I picked out 6 items including Almond Croissant ($6), Ham & Cheese Croissant ($7.95), Apricot Danish ($6.50), Raisin Swirl Roll ($5.50), Tarte Apple ($8), and a warm Croque Monsieur ($11.50), prices before tax & screen tip. I enjoyed my delectable treats back at the house and really enjoyed the Croque Monsieur (toasted ham & cheese on thick slices baguette bread and topped with melted cheese outside with my black coffee. The croissants and other treats were great as well. I do recommend getting here early for best selection since they close up once they're sold out.

I have been visiting since buying their pastry, bread at the Needham farmers market. The owner and family great people , committed to quality and products. I have been visiting the Wellesley location and all the products excellent. Prices are getting up and here I noticed. 7.50 for eclair, albeit was excellent. I'll continue to stop in for a treat , but less frequently. The other reason for me to less frequent is the paying process . The screen displays tip options to choose from for no table or waitress waiter service. I order at counter an eclair and tip expected? I decline with the no tip option? I see the look from the counter person and I feel I insulted them. Tacky tip places with these systems... I stop visiting. Too stressful and if owners are paying wages, no need to add a tip electronically that is not cash known if going to a person directly. I am sorry to say I will less frequently visit now . I have nothing against this business but too stressful payment process. Other bakeries I visit daily or weekly without this after COVID excess tipping process I will promote and spend my money there. All products excellent here, ownership excellent. Go back to normal payment process. If sales are great with increased business, owner can tip employees with a shift bonus.

SO happy to find a real french bakery in the suburbs. The selection is huge, they have both sweet and savory options and everything I have tried is delicious. The bakery is clean and service is efficient. I got an almond pain au chocolat that was buttery and flaky. I also got an eclair which was delicious but very sweet. I am excited to try their savory options as well like the sandwiches. I can't wait to go back!

The pastries are great. Ham and cheese croissants, mini eclairs, several other items, beautiful too. Nicely packaged in a bag to go. However, we were missing six items, and no receipt as requested, so I had to go back for those. The person behind the counter was completely unsurprised, and she went to pack those up. Still no receipt. While I was waiting another customer came in with the same problem--missing items and no receipt. The default tip options are 25, 20, and 15%. That seems incredibly high for putting items in a box, especially when an order is easily over $100. It's hard not to wonder if me selecting the 15% button was the reason for the missing items. I'm assuming best intention, but the lack of surprise when I asked for missing items and watching another customer experience the same thing, does make me wonder about it.

What a disappointment. Little crust on the baguette and no taste. A brioche with a crumb that was hard, not light. Croissants that were on steroids...surely the French owner knows the size of a croissant in France. A pain au chocolat, that was "gooey. This place might be among the best in Boston, but it really is laughable.

I hate giving a low score as the interior is pleasant and the staff friendly but this is probably the worst croissant I have ever tasted. Not only was it crispy on the outside but also throughout and tasted burnt with absolutely no texture. Certainly not something one would taste in Paris.

Disappointing Experience at Le Petit Four Bakery I recently visited Le Petit Four Bakery and was left extremely disappointed. Where did the customer service standards go? If you're looking to be treated like you're nothing and served cold quiche straight from the fridge, then this is the place for you. When I ordered the quiches, the employee never asked if my order was for here or to go. (Who would ever want to eat a quiche cold? Only if you were taking it to go might you want that. But they never asked.) Also, despite their having the capability to heat up the food, they returned to inform me that they don't heat the oven until noon. (Really? No one ever wants a heated quiche, croissant, or other item in the morning?) It was 11:45 AM, and then they changed the timing, stating they couldn't heat the food until 12:30 PM. This poor communication is simply unacceptable. When I raised my concerns, neither the employee nor the manager took any action, nor did I receive a refund, which was incredibly frustrating. We ended up having to throw away the food because it was simply inedible.

The interior, with its incredible coffee/food quality, is a standout, but the real star here is the employees! This has to start at the top.. It is a pleasure to go here! TRY IT!

Absolutely delicious pastries!!!! Cinnamon rolls, lemon tarts, cookies, croissants and more are heavenly! Staff is always friendly too even when super busy (which they usually are because so yummy)

Best croissants at least in Massachusetts, believe me I know what I mean, lived in France, Paris, these croissants are amazing Service is also amazing Ambiance very good with Bistro style tables and chairs and some cosy couches! Highly recommend if you like French bakery

The 1 star review is only for the excellent products they produce. I was there last week and saw some beautiful foccacia which I was assured would be available on Tuesday; but they choose to not list a phone number online so I can't call to confirm. I just have to drive over there and take my chances. Having driven over there today, I was told that they did not have any. I asked the associate why no phone number is listed and she cheerfully smiled and said, "because we would get too many calls". Valerie, inconveniencing your customers because you "don't want to be bothered is the stupidest, most backward customer service I have ever heard of. If you listed a phone number, you could actually connect with your customers and perhaps increase your business! Then, with the increase in revenue, you could afford to hire someone to answer the freakin' phone or at least pay for a voicemail to be returned when you aren't so busy. Continue with absurdly poor customer service like this and you won't have to worry about being too busy to answer the phone.

Pastries are good sandwiches look good ample seating area. Staff is polite and attentive. Wish they had ice tea.

LePetit Four is a wonderful French bakery. I had the almond croissant and it was amazing. Best almond croissant I have ever eaten.-they also have a large variety of breads, pastries, and even sandwiches. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Petit Four is a real gem in Wellesley!

We drove by today and saw Le Petit Four, came in and bought a few pieces, and it's AMAZINGLY GOOOOD, the taste of the Flan made me feel like I'm in France again right now. Everyone is so friendly and everything is so tasty!!! Highly recommend!!!!!!

Wellesley welcomes an amazing and authentic French bakery. We have been there a few times, and have never been disappointed. The quality rivals what you can find in Paris. My only recommendation is to add more seating.

Best pastries and bread since Paris. Everything is exceptional and the service is excellent. Get there early on the weekends.

This was a soul soothing experience from first entry. The buzz of conversation and the obvious enjoyment of the staff and then the bakery...long may you stay please!
