"Le Petit Four exists on that weird stretch of the Sunset Strip full of crowded restaurants you always drive past and wonder who’s actually eating there. Then your cousin Tamra from Charlotte visits and asks to go to Le Petit Four and your question is answered. The touristy French spot isn’t godawful, but you’re also paying $20 for a plate of fettuccine alfredo you could probably make at home in the dark with a jar of Prego. Silver lining - their wine list is actually very solid." - Brant Cox

Yelp
I picked up at the Town Farmer's Market A frosted cinnamon pastry and a chocolate au pain Pastry . There was a huge waiting line for their products and all are first rate products. The cinnamon roll frosted pastry I thought needed more butter , cinnamon or glaze and not as good as it looked. The other pastry au pain with a chocolate, cream base I think was outstanding. The fresh bread all looks excellent. Owner was there and clearly dedicated to her business , products, regular customers. I'd give 5 stars but cinnamon pastry made it a four this time... I'll be back for more tastes.

Yelp
I ordered four ´vienoisseries' and a standard baguette to sample what I hoped to fine French baked goods. What I tasted was far beyond my expectations! The baguette aroma when slightly rewarmed was exquisite: its freshness and texture were a sample of bread from Lyon or Aix-en-p Provence. Crunchy outside, tender, smooth interior. The sweet items were wonderful. In a typical European manner the apple turnover, the pecan and the cinnamon roll were less sugary than those available from local supermarket bakeries and cafes, allowing the ingredients' flavors to come forward. The brioche texture of the cinnamon roll was delightful, as was the crisp crunch of the crust of the apple turnover. I´ve reserved judgement on the Breton baked item until dinnertime, when my appetite can do it justice

Yelp
Fantastic baguettes from a hometown French bakery! This place has amazing pastries as well!

Yelp
Soooo so good! This place is a little hard to find, it's in the back of a residential property over in Needham but once you see it you know you're in the right place. We ordered all sorts of pastries and breads and each one was perfect. I had never tried caneles before and now I don't want to try them anywhere else fearing they won't be as good. We ordered online and our goodies were ready when we arrived. You need to order with at least 48 hours notice, as this is a process that requires time to come out perfect. Would highly, highly recommend, and it was absolutely worth a huge detour for us!

Yelp
OMG! Le Petit Four is a discovery that will inevitably become a household name in the Boston 'burbs! We are visiting our son/DIL/grandchildren and they ordered croissants and fougasse (French version of Italian focaccia) with black/green olives. Pickup is from the baker's house in Needham, in a small dedicated bakery behind a residence. When I was there orders with names were on shelves, so pickup was easy and no Covid issues. The fougasse was superior. Chewy, super flavorful. I became addicted at once. Beautiful shape. Perfect! We had chocolate, almond, and regular butter croissants. Again, perfection! Oblong tiny chocolate bars within, perfect level of subtle, delicious sweetness. Flaky layers of butter-laced dough. Crispy outside, tender chewy floatiness inside. I want to live on these for the rest my life! The website explains the care and intention that go into these outrageously good creations. Specially imported French butter, non-GMO and high fat content. Technique cold and relaxed. Tradition of excellence in baking. So impressive. The baker comes from a background in organizational management, so I see expansion ahead. Get yours while it's small!

Yelp
On Fridays Le Petit Four has a stand at Captain Mardens in Wellesley at 11:30 a.m. I went there today. Croissants are amazing and fresh. haven't tried the pastries yet but they look wonderful. Absolutely delicious croissants and friendly service. I will be back. More info can be found on their website.

Yelp
Just delicious! Croissants were light, flaky and full of flavor. Cinnamon rolls were sweet, but not heavy. Fougasse herb bread was just the right mix of herbs. Cannot wait to taste more. No need to go to France when Le Petit Four is so close. Contactless pick up was quick and easy.

Yelp
This is the prototype for a hidden treasures. If you don't know it's there, you'll never find it. The pastries are exquisite. The breads are airy with bite and perfect yeastiness. It's a treat to go there.

Yelp
The croissants were as good if not better than anything I've had in France. They freeze really well too, so you can have fresh-tasting croissants every day.

Yelp
Beat french pastry in Boston and around. We just ordered our first batch and are already hooked. Beautiful and delicious.

Yelp
I was bowled over by the croissants and fougasse; my family and I could not get over how fresh and delicious these items were. This is now my new favorite place to frequent and I plan to eat my way through the entire menu!

Yelp
Oh mon dieu...I've just finished a croissant, a chocolatine, and three slices of brioche and I honestly don't know whether I'm in Needham or in Paris right now. Où suis-je ? Part of me worries what effect having an authentic Parisian baker just a mile away from our house will have on our waistlines. But the other part of me (which has won) says to just surrender to deliciousness. I also had several bites of the delicious fougasse and baguette, but we're trying to save most of those for breakfast tomorrow. And my wife has just reported that the cookies are now all gone...zut alors! The only way to get this level of quality French baking would be to hop on a plane to CDG.

Yelp
I picked up a pain au chocolat and a croissant on Father's Day morning. They were a delicious surprise for my husband, they were freshly baked, and the process was simple. First but not my last time buying from Le Petit Four!

Yelp
I love good pastries, but they are hard to find outside of the big cities. When I came across Le Petit Four, it looked very promising so I had to try. Le Petit Four is an in-home bakery. Everything is made to order, and you need to order 48 hours in advance, either online or by phone. Online ordering was very convenient. I tried the plain and chocolate croissants, and they are perfect... just the right amount of rich, buttery, flaky, pillowy goodness. I also tried the cookies. Not your momma's cookies (not knocking them, I'm sure they are also good), but these are refined, buttery, soft, rich, and have plenty of chocolate chunks. Natalie put a lot of care into making and packaging her products... I only wish I could eat these every day!

Yelp
The most perfect, flaky, buttery, melt in your mouth croissants and pain au chocolate I've ever had. Valerie bakes to order. She took Venmo and texted me when my order was ready. Thank you for the perfect start to our holiday!
