Le Petit Pali at 8th Ave

Love Place, French style decorated, feels like Provence. Plenty of details make the experience warmth. Charming tableware. Delicious amenities. Double-sided fireplace makes the room special. |Complimentary charming bikes to cycle at the beach are definitely a must try. |Breakfast is not The tradicional American, but have all the essentials one needs to start a day - including champagne and mimosa 😉|To reach a 5 star, only a few details that do not harm the experience: the bathroom door, and small aspects about maintenance. I would return- and recommend.

I had an amazing stay at Le Petit Pali. It was super cozy and warm from the moment we arrived. Orlando was at the front desk and had amazing energy and was knowledgeable about the property, amenities and the town which was helpful. Karen was a great manager and very hospitable and knowledgeable as well. Miley was a great server who knew about wine and food pairings and was a great personality and fun as well as Leslie. Natalie was also a great energy and personality. |Patricia was on top of making sure our accommodations were to our liking and clean. |Really enjoyed my stay and everyone was super professional.

It's hard to put into words how great my fiancee and I's stay at Le Petit Pali at 8th Ave was. I want to personally thank Alex, Jez, Diane, and Shaq for their superb customer service, kindness, and thoughtfulness that made our stay in Carmel magical––they provided, by far, the best service I have experienced in any hotel or accommodation and will be a permanent cornerstone of our trip here. Alex in particular helped make our trip memorable forever by helping create a memorable experience for my fiancee and I after we got engaged in Point Lobos. ||The rest of the staff here also maintains this type of standard to keep the hotel in perfect shape and the guests feeling like everything is curated for them. The room is so cozy with inspiring attention to detail that makes it a truly unique experience hard to find elsewhere. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of all the great attractions in Carmel––the beach, downtown for shopping, and the Carmel Plaza to spend a day getting lost. The complimentary breakfast was also great, highlighting the local Rise + Roam bakery with offerings of champagne and mimosas. We did not have trouble parking alongside the street of the hotel, or a block away at public parking––if anything, it gives even more reason to walk a bit and look around at this beautiful sights. ||I could go on further, but will end with: you must visit this hotel if you want an experience you can't find elsewhere–– for a romantic trip, a curated experience in a magical place, or a stop on the way of coastal California. We had the best time at this hotel! The amenities and services offered were wonderful, and everything was just beautiful! We loved all the spaces to sit and have a cup of coffee or drink! The breakfast was amazing every day, and the staff was so friendly! We especially loved Diane! She was phenomenal and made us feel so welcomed, always remembering details from our conversations and checking in with us throughout the week- she went above and beyond! Definitely plan on coming back!

This boutique hotel exceeded all of our expectations. From the decor to the staff, we could not have had a better experience. We loved the waitress Miley, who we met at the first social hour we attended. She was very accommodating and personable. We had a mishap with a personal item on our trip, and Alex and the other staff went above and beyond to help us. Also, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We did not have one complaint. We will be back!

Not a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Hidden fees where added on check-in although the booking was advertised as "all fees included". The receptionist was unable to handle any questions and the manager took 30 minutes to arrive and was very unfriendly and combative. Overall the premise did not look like on the pictures and had more the vibe of a cheap motel. By no means a place where I would want to spend my vacations and definitely not worth the extremely high room prices. No parking closeby.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel. The furnishings, equipment and design are of high quality, but unfortunately the staff is not. The exception is a nice woman that is professional and somewhat compensates for the lack of service. the breakfast is very clear. If you want more than coffee (e.g. decaf or espresso) it doesn't exist. The cheese plate in the afternoon consisted of three small slices. There is no air conditioning, a pool or a gym. I don't want to blame the staff, they are nice. We are still disappointed because we have had better experiences. Especially when considering the price for a night.

The fire place room (07) is nice however the walls are paper thin and you can hear the neighbors conversation. The hotel does provide foam earplugs to help minimize the noise. Overall, this hotel is overpriced. The artesian water in the bathroom is $13/bottle so I recommend bringing your own to make your coffee in the morning.
