The Best Fried Chicken in Montreal | Eater Montreal

"This casual restaurant’s original digs in Côte-des-Neiges may have closed, but Le Petit Vibe’s mash-up menu, where Hawaiian and Filipino cuisines meet comforting eats, lives on at the downtown food hall Le Central. That includes their furikake fried chicken with a sweet garlic-soy sauce, or a spicy chicken sandwich with a tropical streak in the form of pickled papaya." - JP Karwacki

25 Best Restaurants in Montreal | Condé Nast Traveler

"In a residential area opposite Mount Royal, this fast casual Hawaiian-Filipino fusion spot offers no shortage of vibes. The stick-to-your-ribs foods are comforting, the flavors are big and beautiful, and it's a perfect example of the creative, diverse food concepts popping up across the city . From the flavors to the portions, there's nothing "Petit" about this place. Highlights include: crispy-fried Poulet Furikake, drenched in a citrus sauce and served with creamy macaroni salad; garlic butter shrimp over rice; fried Filipino pork belly; braised beef tacos; and, for those who are extra hungry, "Filipino Poutine" with tater tots, cheese curds, hot dogs, and sweet Filipino-style spaghetti sauce." - Todd Plummer, Isa Tousignant

The Best Restaurants in Côte-des-Neiges | Eater Montreal

"The 2019 opening of this Hawaiian-Filipino restaurant made quite a splash. Backed by co-owners Willson Luu and Ryan Oabel (who runs the kitchen), the menu offers tropical fare such as lechon kawali, a pork belly dish served fried or grilled Filipino style and served with rice and salad. The chicken furikake acts as an excellent secondary dish. Fun fact: there is a “mini menu” available, featuring a few of the restaurant’s best sellers, as well as Haupia pies for dessert, in small form." - Tim Forster

If you want a taste of Filipino classics, then this is the place for you! I have come here on many occasions, trying different takeout each time. They make probably the best and give the most generous portion of birria tacos on the island, so that would be my recommendation if it's your first time. Otherwise the birria poutine was so good and tasty. Their chicken burger with potato tots is awesome. Don't forget to get a banana caramel pie as a dessert!

Absolutely delicious Filipino and Hawaiian meals, served by exceptional friendly staff with a warm welcoming atmosphere. The Chef comes up with weekly specials and a superior mouth watering full flavoured of evening dinner service! I highly recommend this spot!

Big portions, good music, friendly service, delicious fried food and a great dole whip. Edit: came back to try the brunch, and the chicken and banana waffles were to diiiiie for! The cured “bacon” was also a hit!

Delicious food and warm welcoming environment. I love to taste the dishes from different cultures (Filipino and Hawaiian). Very friendly staff. This restaurant make me feel like I’m on vacation. I truly recommend this spot!

They have a brunch menu as well! But they allowed me to order from their dinner menu during lunch. I ordered the lechon and it was deliciously crispy and had a good amount of fat. It came with the mac salad and a green salad as a side on my plate. I read another review here that said the mac salad was tasteless, but it was pretty on par with the mac salads I've had in Hawaii. The waitress also suggested an "all-purpose sauce" to go with the lechon and I really quite liked it! Preferred it to the default vinegar sauce that my dish came with. My boyfriend ordered one of their brunch dishes: the chicken and waffles. It came with ube butter! And you can actually taste the ube! The pancake itself was banana-based in taste. The chicken was perfectly fried, but my boyfriend said it was a little bit too salty. But I thought it was alright in saltiness. We also got a spam and tamago musubi to share. Glad to see musubi offered! It was freshly made and quite warm to the touch when it got to us. Yum! Overall, loved the decor here and happy with the variety of dishes offered! Have been missing Hawaiian foods since my Hawaii trip a few months back, and having more Filipino food options in Montreal are always welcomed!

Delicious burger and tater tots. It was hot and made on order. Their little potato nuggets were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside while having little bits of potatoes still intact. I also liked the additional marinated papaya in the burger. It added something special. I recommend it.

We went for lunch on a Friday and the food was amazing, as well as the staff being extremely friendly. The restaurant has relaxed vibes, with a few SNES consoles by the entrance that you can play with while you wait for your food. We ordered the Lumpia and Musubi Spam as appetizers, and were pleasantly surprised with both of them. The Lumpia is longer and more filling than traditional Filipino Lumpia, and was well done. The Musubi Spam came with a sauce inside of it that cut the saltiness of the spam, which combined well with the seaweed taste of the Nori. For the main dishes, we ordered the Furikake Chicken, the Lechon Kawali, The North Shore Shrimps, as well as the Beef Caldereta. All of the dishes were extremely tasty and I'd be very satisfied ordering any of them, but I find it hard to beat the amazing taste of the Lechon with its crispy skin. The Beef Caldereta's meat was also very tender. We were very happy with our visit, and will probably be going back soon.

The food is okay, but not amazing that I will go back. The dish are mostly fusion . The main food could be Hawaiian or Filipinos. The side is a bit weird for as it come with rice and Mac and cheese salad. The service is friendly. But the resto ambient is not good. It is smelly, water is leak at the roof, it is also kind of dark
