"One of many great Vietnamese restaurants in Deptford and nearby Greenwich, Viet Anh Pho is a casual spot that’s trendily decorated but retains a canteen-style. Alongside a large selection of vegan dishes — best of which is the imperial hue — the bánh mì are the main reason to visit. Although towards the smaller, slightly more expensive end of the scale, the special is a must try with its betel-wrapped grilled pork filling heavy with lemongrass, complete with coriander, pickled batons of carrot, cucumber and daikon, and homemade chilli sauce that occupies the median ground between fiery and sweet." - Jonathan Hatchman

Went here on a Monday evening, hungry after some beers. The place is quite small, only 4-5 tables to dine in but it's totally worth it. We had the vegan summer rolls, vegan pho and vegan fried lemongrass noodles. They tasted amazing and were so tasty. I recommend. No alcohol served on premises.

I came here in august. Sadly the food was not good. The beef in the pho was extremely fatty and chewy and unedible. I asked for brisket - what u got were cheap slices of beef not brisket, I've had brisket pho before elsewhere and it was lovely fall apart beef. There was also a very curly hair of some kind in the little side of sauce we got to put in the pho! The rest of the soup was tasty but the ingredients were cheap as. Wouldn't recommend. Shame as the staff were lovely, decent condiments at the table, food was cooked quickly etc.

I’ve been in this cosy Vietnamese restaurant a few times and it never disappoints. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and the people who work here are lovely.

I can’t say much for atmosphere as I didn’t eat it, but when I collected my food the place looks nice inside. The food was absolutely amazing and you can see they put extra effort into their food. I’ve had the lemongrass and tofu noodles from many places and this was among the best of them. The people working there were very nice. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be going back for sure.

Tasty food and decent portion. Loads of vegan options! I ordered bun hue and the broth is a bit sweet. I wish they offer spicy sauce that isn’t sweet, as now it makes the food even sweeter but perhaps that’s authentic taste. Their new menu doesn’t have spicy based broth as some older pictures show on Google review.

Went here today! The coconut rice with chicken curry was absolutely amazing, I haven’t had a sauce that good in a while and the chicken was very tender! The pho was good but broth could have been a little more flavourful but overall delicious. The bao buns could be a bit more fresh and fluffy but they were good. The drink were good too! The decor of the restaurant was a bit clinical and bright maybe could do with some warmer lighting and different colours on the wall! If this was done it would be a great spot! The staff were really amazing and attentive. I would definitely recommend.

Food was simple but nicely done. Generous portions that came out very quickly. Extensive vegan menu. As other reviews have pointed out, it's on a busy road so can be quite noisy but that didn't detract from our enjoyment of the food. Decor is, like the food, simple but nicely done.

This is a very decent Vietnamese. Not the best, but a very enjoyable meal all the same. The pho was tasty, but broth could have had more kick. The pho bun hue spicy soup was really nice though, loved that one. The chicken curry was delicious!! The star of the show. Great curry with yummy coconut sticky rice. Loved it. The bao bun was nice and I liked it but I don’t think it was the best. Mango juice was really yummy. The service was very sweet and friendly. The decor is a bit cold though I find. The prices are fair enough.
