Le Poisson Rouge

The location is perfect during the high season, in February only the indoor areas are open. The customer service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the interior was very cozy. It would be helpful if the opening hours were displayed somewhere, and having the menu available in English would make ordering easier.

If you love to wait 90 minutes to get your food - this is your place. I complained about this and first the manager was not really interested in my position, however he looked into the case and then apologized so that’s why I change the review now to a 3 stars Food as such is ok but slightly overpriced. I found the fish was a bit dry for my taste. The tuna was not medium rare but pretty much well. I liked the oysters as a starter and also the Pulpo as a main dish, I can recommend that. Waiters are friendly but could not solve the waiting issue. We were there with our two kids. Not a fun experience for them due to the waiting. There was a kids menu for those under 10 years. But for older kids there was not really a teeneager friendly choice (no French fries, no burgers etc)

Although the location is unassuming and the entrance is misleading, we had a wonderful experience at le poisson rouge. We just about turned back because it looked closed, but licking tried tugging on the door to be transported to a classy beach club. My friend mentioned it felt like walking through the cupboard to Narnia. We took muscat de frontignan and some oysters and everything was delicious. You can see the beach from the restaurant and if the weather was warmer, you could sit on the beach.

Sea view, seafood, nice service, serious cocktails and very interested wine list. I tried a very well balanced local, dry white made of muscat grapes but not sweet. It went very well with a risotto façon paella which is a great idea, cooking the rice like Italians do but prepare it like Spaniards prepare it.

Very tasty food. Amazing spot with view on the beach. Great service. Everything was there to have a very enjoyable moment at Le Poisson Rouge.

The owner is great, the food is great, the view is great but you pay a lot for all the greats, tres cher. The Beach seating is always booked so reserve all in advance. Great restaurant, staff is friendly but it was so busy we didn't get much of their time, dinner took over 2 hours. Worth a visit for sure, really cool restaurant.

There needs to be a 4.5 category because really the 4 doesn't do it justice, but it isn't quite a 5. The food is really good and there is an excellent selection of seafood and meat courses. The service is friendly and attentive and as we weren't in a rush the fact it wasn't quick, wasn't a problem. The location is surprising, squeezed in between Beach-front properties on a narrow back road, but no less beautiful for it. The restaurant is right on the beach so if your mood and the weather makes it possible you can dine with sand between your toes. It's about our 3rd or 4th visit there and I suspect if it was closer (45mins) the number would be higher.

Small menu card and then they didn't even have rice for the risotto. No French fries is offered. Arrogant staff We left without ordering another table too!
