Received a call about card machine failure thus cash only - good service * ⁠server was very helpful and translated the French menu on the big chalk board which changed every day * ⁠appetizers - both have excellent flavor and presentation; everything blended in so well * ⁠main dish - *Rabbit Loin* - meat is vey tender and delicious, goes very well with pumpkin mash and the sauce * ⁠main dish - *Fish Filet* is very fresh and juicy, lentil is more cooked than those in appetizers, topped with fresh crunchy vegetables. * Set Menu 39€ - everything is delightful and delicious! Every dish is a piece of culinary art! Just like all other customers, we used bread to clean out the delicious sauce.

We have visited at evening. There is only fixed menu for 39 Eur. You have 2 option for each course. As we were a group, we tried each of them. All the food was amazing! Atmosphere is great, staff is very friendly. They speak English and explained us all the dishes in detail. We have enjoyed it a lot!

The food at this restaurant is amazing. Everything is super fresh and very innovative. My food was perfectly seasoned and the flavors were outstanding. The service is warm and friendly. The space itself is a bit tight and they have so many tables that the restaurant can get a bit loud, although whether that's a plus or a minus depends on your perspective. For dinner, they only offer a fixed three-course menu with your choice of appetizer, entrée, and dessert. The choices are extremely limited so make sure you look at the menu before dining here, although the dishes they serve are delicious.

Truly amazing! Excellent food quality and very friendly service. I enjoyed the lamb plat so much! It was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy/tender on the inside, complimented by a beautiful cream sauce and mousseline de carotte. And the crémeux chocolat dessert with basilic sucré was sublime! Thank you so much!

Small and simple place, a true example of Lyon gastronomy. Good location close to the subway.The food is a ten, the service great as well. The option is starter+dish+dessert at €39 per person. A couple of options, for dessert it goes up to three. We tried the starters: tartare, the fish pudding; main dishes: pulp, lamb roll; and dessert we took the chocolate one. Excellent choices! Tartare the best ever tried, and the dessert very innovative with the basilic sauce.

If you want phenomenal food and second to none service, look no further. Le Poivron Bleu surpassed all expectations and left me smiling with culinary amazement. The menu is made up of a choice of two entrees, two mains and three desserts (one being cheese plate). I visited with my wife so we were able to order one of every dish on the menu except for the cheese plate. Everything was balanced well and tied together nicely. The standout dish for me was the citron dessert.

Very good experience. Very good food! Our first meal in Lyon and it was our first good meal in France. Compared to Paris, this was so much better. However, everything was so fast and quick. It was rushed. The waiter seemed super busy. But I guess they need fast turnover. But overall if we could relax between each dish, it would been perfectly

We wanted to go somewhere else friday night, but they were full. Thank god! Because otherwise we wouldn't have found this place. There is a menu with only a few choices (2 starters, 2 mains and 3 desserts). The food was delicious and the wine suggested was also perfect. The service was attentive and the chef clearly proud of his work. I don't often write reviews, but this place deserves it. The best meal we had in Lyon by far (and there were some good ones).
