The 9 Best Restaurants In Cannes - Cannes - The Infatuation

"Le Pompon nails the neo-bistro formula: out with staid, heavy bistro classics like beef bourguignon, and in with seasonal dishes that use the South of France’s long growing season to maximum effect. Their chalkboard menu changes every few weeks and has just nine dishes. In summer, expect the likes of a zucchini purée with stracciatella, figs, and bread crisps. During the cold off-season, warm up with rustic pici with beurre blanc, espelette pepper, and Tomme de brebis. Although the dining room is narrow and the tables packed tightly together, it doesn’t feel cramped, thanks to the pillow-strewn banquette running along the wall. The flowing wine likely helps, too—there are 30-odd bottles on the menu, with €7 glasses that change based on what’s open that day." - sophie friedman, michael sinatra

Very good and finally some food finesse in Cannes where food usually is (below) average. The owners are wonderful and we got special treatment when dining with two kids. Indeed we mentioned 2 days before and got kid friendly dishes (off menu). Menu is changing almost everyday and prices are reasonable. Good natural wines are dominating the list. Strongly recommended. Minus note; the bread…

One of my favorite restaurant in Cannes. Delicious food, seasonal menu that changes often. Creative and inventive expression of the regional cuisine.

We had a memorable meal at Le Pompon - the best we had in Cannes. The dishes were delicious, all prepared with local ingredients and presented beautifully by Anna. This was matched with wonderful, welcoming service from Laura and Cleo (who gave us a great wine recommendation). I highly recommend a visit if you’re in Cannes.

Our favourite meal in Cannes during our visit some time ago. The food was so memorable that I still think about this place. Rotating selections, with perfectly executed creative dishes. The egg encrusted with charcoal on popcorn was certainly unique and delicious. The Black Rice Risotto was our favourite. This might be the best restaurant I’ve visited.

Superb food with seasonal fresh ingredients. Dishes come in small sharing plates of gastronomic explosions to share. The chef is a passionate and creative genius.

Best meal we had during our trip in the French riviera! Tuck away from the hustle bustle of Cannes is this little gem just off the square. It's a three man band running the restaurant yet super delicious and great service. We had the marinated fish with trout egg cream, the grilled fish and beef. Everything was just a gastronomic explosion in every bite! Would love to come back but only here for a day

I don’t give 5 stars. The visit here was exceptional so much so that I had to go back! We went with 3 friends and the hospitable host/waiter started by giving us a nice table. The food is best shared and with the limited menu, they keep everything fresh and moving. The appetizers were great. The wine and drink suggestions were heavenly. The main dishes were out of this world innovative and fun! We even had dessert. Go!
