"Such is the renown of Sylvie Grucker and her son that this pretty restaurant on the wine route is greatly in demand. Sylvie combines traditional recipes with an inventive streak in a bid to showcase regional fare: bacon-flavoured choucroute soup or duck shepherd’s pie, mushrooms and 12-spice sauce, side by side perennial favourites like granddad’s snails, ravioles of carp in a creamy, smoked sauce or Sylvie’s meringue and ice cream extravaganza! Local winegrowers and producers from the village (thirty or so) take pride of place on the enticing wine list." - Michelin Inspector

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in my entire life! The food is divine, and the service and atmosphere are exceptionally warm and welcoming. This restaurant is an absolute gem, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone visiting the beautiful region!

It was extremely nice to have dinner in this place. Small restaurant with soul. I love this kind of places. Menu small what is on big plus, but anyway it's hard to choose, because everything sounds delicious. Since the beginning you feel welcome. For now I can say it is one of the best restaurants I've been in France. Delicious food, local drinks, amazing service which wasn't too much, but also not too little. In a perfect balance. Thank you so much for this nice experience

Had the most delicious lunch in this totally non-pretentious, top-tier restaurant. I could not believe that my entire 3 course meal, plus amuse bouche, plus drink, came to less than €40. Such delicious food and large servings. I badly wanted to request a table for dinner. Extra points for being so kind about my poor French speaking.

Member of staff (waiter) talking about us when we use toilet and they stopped when we came in the room and was waiting for us to leave to finish the discussion, probably! Very impolite and not professional!!!

Lovely little restaurant. Called in on the way from Italy to London. Ordered foie gras and beef. Delicious food, not overeated, not too few. White wine was superb. Hope to come again.

Lovely spot for amazing French food. The maître’d spoke excellent English, and German. They even made a one-off chicken and noodle dinner for our 3 year old and he LOVED it (rare that he finishes an entire plate). We will certainly be back.
