I can't really speak to what this place does best - craft beer, but after a long day of hiking I sure was happy to settle in for a meal here. For a starter, their soup of the day was cream of leek and it was absolutely amazing! Delicate and smooth, but delightfully flavorful. I'm so going to try to replicate at home.
After the soup, came the poutine, which was different, but supper yummy. They serve it two ways here; brown (vegetarian!) gravy or bbq sauce to smother crispy fries and melty oooey gooey cheese curds. Or, your kind and thoughtful waitress might recommend that you get a combination of both, and bam! There you go! It's a little sweet, a little tangy and a lot of yum.
While I am not a huge olive fan, another fellow helper raved about them here, so I had an order packaged to go. The people at the b&b where I was staying had been having evenings out on the terrace where we all brought a little something to the party and I figured I could bring these and try them out myself. What a hit! I enjoyed them immensely (not the olive fan) and so did the group.
May I mention that all of this was incredibly reasonably priced? Good stuff right here. Simple menu, but they are getting it right. Besides, I think most people are there for the beer.
