Le Refuge - Megève

Delicious, beautifully prepared food. I recommend this feast to everyone, including vegetarians. Personally, I had delicious fish and baked potatoes and vegetables (blette). Everything was very tasty.

I visited this place last night with my boyfriend and we were amazed not only by the food, but the great service they provided us with. The place was very cozy, yet elegant and quiet. It is situated outside of Megève, above the main part of the city and you will get an amazing view of the beautiful trees around. The food was impeccable, good quality - a great example of classic French cuisine. I was pleased with the service too-young and qualified people will serve you with a smile without being intrusive. Great managing from the director and we will definitely come back again.

Having dined previously 2 years ago where I was amazed with the food, I was so disappointed and embarrassed to bring family here again. It has gone downhill with several menu items unavailable and a soufflé which I cannot see how the chef could send out from the kitchen. It was inedible and deflated on arrival. They reversed the charge but the whole experience was subpar and will not be back. The mains and sides were mostly well done but for the price, it is hard to justify and suggest to look elsewhere

We dined here on valentines day with a party of 7 which included two young children. Everything was phenomenal ✨️ The service was very attentive especially towards the children. Our waitress brought out coloring pencils and paper for the children to keep themselves entertained. The environment waa nice and relaxing. The food was excellent. The beef wellington and rack of lambs was great. All the sides are a must, definitely enough for sharing. I highly recommend dining here for great food and a great experience!

Wonderful experience and worth the drive! Just be careful driving there in the road if in heavy snowfall as it is outside of the city.

One of our best restaurants in Megeve, every dish is special.. I can’t recommend any particular dish.. as you should try it all. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Super nice Restaurant with very good dishes. Our visit was almost perfect. Only the meat knifes for our duck that were brought to our table additionaly were dusty. Otherwise very attentive service, food cooked on point with excellent flavors, sauces and sides. Cozy mountain hut ambience.

Everything went well: the food, the ambiance, and the waiter. They were all just wonderful. We were a party of eight Americans, on a rainy Fall night, and we were waited on by a charming young man, who spoke English - which was helpful for our group, aged 40 to 80! We will definitely return! Thank you for a lovely evening!

Cute decor and excellent local food. Very attentive service. We went for the classics (fondue and charcuterie board). Added some Mac&Cheese for the kids. Bottle of wine from Savoie at $36 is a must-have addition. We went over-board for the desseets but they were all excellent. Don't miss the soufflé. Le Refuge De Megève didn't disappoint ! Highly recommended. Also: you can book your table online (and you should).

Amazing ambience, attentive and friendly service and very tasty food. Highly recommended! The black Angus filet was delicious! Ask for roasted potatoes for a healthier choice although the potatoes au gratin is also very nice.

This place is amazing. Great food, great service and it's very comfy environment. I Had the filet of beef with roasted potatoes. Must try this place.

Off season but still very busy. We had a great meal, I enjoyed the poached egg with foie and morille and their beef special for the day. With a good bottle of local wine it was a very pleasant evening. The ambiance is definitely french mountain, but that is why you go here in the first place.
