I dined at this restaurant recently with friends. It was probably the worst dining experience I have had in my lifetime. The staff were unprofessional, verbalizing that the owners rarely are present unless there are enough reservations. Okay, fine with me, but the meal was so bad, it might help their business to be present. Then we were recommended to order the steak more cooked than we would normally do, because the "french" cook differently. For a restaurant that features one specialty, that should be special.The salad was minimal and greens with a scant cover of crushed walnuts. The steak was overcooked and tough. Fries, good. The biggest complaint was having our table visited throughout the meal with non flying bugs. At any given time there were 5-6 crawling. We called attention to our waiter and the response was to acknowledge the bugs and "I'm sorry, we have had a problem." Nothing, was done to attempt to win our return as customers.
we ended with paying our bill, including a $25 corkage fee for a meal that was less than mediocre, and insulting to a diner. I never hope to see a restaurant not enjoy success, but this needs to close.
