"The elegant dining room combines the character of this former coaching inn (parquet, fireplace) with more plush and cosy touches. The chef uses fine regional produce to concoct wonderfully creative dishes. Your meal is accompanied by a delightful selection of wines, including a range of Viré - Clessé wines. The pleasant rooms and spa round off your stay in wine - growing country." - Michelin Inspector

Stayed there for 1 night. Room was good and also the welcoming. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing, one of the best dinners I have had for a very long time...! I would not recommend for dogs to be allowed within the restaurant though but, it was also a particular period between Christmas and New Year Eve with only a few guests. It felt like a good family run place and once more, the food at the restaurant was exquisite....!

Frederic is a wonderful host and outstanding chef. The food is superbe - we stayed for two nights and had dinner twice and it was a total treat. Moreover, Frederic does everthing he can to make your stay as pleasant as possible; we will certainly return to this charming hotel !

The stay was fantastic in general. It began with a trip around the vineyards with the chef and owner of the hotel. He took us to a wine tasting and also a great ride on a jeep in the forest. The places and views are amazing. Back to the hotel we were able to privatize the jacuzzi and the steam for an hour, it was really nice cosy and perfect. ||The chef performed a truly fine and delicious all lobster menu. The food was gorgeous and you can feel the quality of the product as well as Chef's creativity. Waiters were professional and attentive to yor needs. Probably the best 1* restaurant experience. I highly recommend this place for 1 to 3 nights stay in burgundy. Thanks to all of the staff !!

Perfect stop-over: quiet village only 5 minutes from the A6 Autoroute; clean, comfortable, contemporarily-styled rooms (very French!) with all mod cons; a restaurant with a well-deserved Michelin star; a good selection of French wines (predominantly local); a decent, non-buffet, continental breakfast (at € 20 extra per head) and the whole, compared to other similar establishments on the migration route, not super-galactically priced.||Our two dogs were also made to feel most welcome including in the restaurant - at €15 each per night only for the privilege of sharing our room perhaps, though, the least to be expected.||Viator ed cani Coloniae

Very nice place to be at the heart of the 'Vignobles Mâconnais' Thanks to Frederic for his warm welcome and his dedication to please you with the finest food made from local ingredients and a real 'Savoir Faire'... We have decided to spend the New Year there and discover a very tasty and well presented menu from Frederic. A great selection of wines and 'Champagnes' will get along with some delicious dishes and some surprises like the Ice-cream cheese, a must to try! I highly recommend Le Relais de Montmartre as your next stay if you are in the region. Thanks again to Frederic and Sophie for their welcome!

This was our 4th stay at the Hotel, and it is a perfect place to stop off en route between North France and the Cote D'Azur.||The small village is surrounded by beautiful vinyards and is very quiet even though it is fairly close to the Autoroute near Macon.||We had a wonderful (Suite Room 10) and very personal service from the Chef, Frederic Carrion and all his Staff.||The food was delicious as always and certainly deserves its Michelin Star. ||There is a wine shop just opposite where you can purchase all the local wines at reasonable prices.||We would highly recommend treating yourselves to a very comfortable bed and a gourmet meal to start off your holiday in France at this hotel!

Room, hotel and service is excellent but it is in a very small village. ||It is really a very quiet village apart from the Church bells.||Restaurant is very good but wether it is worth a Michelin Star.??||A good sommelier was lacking.
