"Ensconced within the Hotel Plaza Athénée, it is impossible to resist the charm of the lovely 1930s decor inspired by the linerSS Normandie. A unique atmosphere in which to sample cuisine with a pronounced sense of tradition, ranging from the "granny's cooking" dear to Jean Imbert (sea bream gratin, stuffed tomato and pilaf rice) to the classics that have sealed the reputation of this famous Art Deco spot." - Michelin Inspector

We walked in without a reservation and were warmly welcomed right away. The service was outstanding—attentive, professional, and genuinely accommodating. They even prepared a salad that wasn’t on the menu to match my fiancée’s taste, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and the portions were surprisingly generous for fine dining. Overall, a wonderful experience that left us impressed and eager to return.

Delicious food and implacable service. The place is just beautiful. I had lamb chunk cooked in the oven with eggplant. For dessert I had crepe Suzette. The food was delicious and the experience was wonderful.

Google
Impeccable food and service. Say no more- if you’re willing to pay good money this is a top tier restaurant by any regard. The wine collection is vast and the pairing with the food are great. We had the gratin, beef fillet in brioche and Viennese schnitzel, all were delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was the best I’ve had in my life, excellent and many staff that helped with anything necessary. Great yet modern interior decor. The prices were very high, expectedly, but I would definitely recommend trying the Michelin star experience there.

Google
Classic French, with good flavors. A beautiful steak tartare and the curry sauce mussels being some of the best highlights. The service is not the same as the Four Seasons, but there’s definitely the effort to please and be hospitable. The bread was great, the desserts could be better.

Google
Fantastic services. Awesome Food. Definitely one of personal favorite restaurant in Paris for sure. Loved many dishes including pate, beef tartare, lobster spaghetti, artichoke, and Lamb leg. Grilled chicken is pretty good served in two styles, breast with gravy and leg in tomato sauce. Deserts are all pretty good too. Definitely would come back again.

Google
I will rate at a 3 *** because of the price increase ! Lila our server was excellent and could not have asked for a better one. The food was also excellent BUT the prices increased so much and for that reason we will not be back after being there five times in the past. It’s becoming outrageous to eat in Palaces in Paris and only Americans or wealthy nationals and foreigners can afford this ! :( shameful

Google
The service is on high level! I experienced respect, kindness and naturally friendly people there. Here are two of them, amazing service! I am grateful! The food, of which I didn't take photo :), is delicious! My menu was vegan adapted, I am grateful for their flexibility and respect! Highly recommend it! The atmosphere is warm, inviting and luxurious! I love it! With best regards, Silvia

Yelp
Loved everything about this gem of a restaurant. The food, the drinks and service were all incredible and the space itself was so charming. Both the lobster pasta and beef Wellington were incredible and the bartender makes a perfect dirty martini.

Yelp
I highly recommend Le Relais Plaza. This was one of our favorites while in Paris. The staff's attentiveness was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious. The decor and ambiance are lovely, and it's just overall really great French cuisine. My cocktail was just okay, but everything else made up for it.

Yelp
Of all my dining experiences in Paris, this may have been one of my favorites. It's a bit on the pricy side, but if you're looking for a good, high end brunch, I highly recommend it. The mimosas were delicious and made with fresh orange juice. The food was well seasoned and cooked and the service was excellent.

Yelp
Let's preface by saying that we loved this place, we visited in February 2022 And it was wonderful. 'it's beautiful and the service is very attentive. Today Kitchen/hot shot chef, you're going to get it and you deserve it! Chef, taste your food, Taste your preparation. To say we were disappointed is putting it mildly. Bland, bland & more bland. That famous Foie gras terrine, not enjoyable! Not seasoned properly. Almost uneatable. The special of the night was embarrassing. Mussels that were so tiny they were a mess to eat. It came with with beautiful Julianne fries that were served cold, and someone forgot to put any salt on them. Like eating potato chips without salt. Should have 86d that dish Chef. The house fish, crusted and served on Basmati rice. Chef, no one tried the rice, not seasoned properly. The crust on the fish wasn't crunchy, boring and unremarkable. This place is on Ave. Montaigne, one of the most high end streets in the world. Serving food like we received is unacceptable and you won't be around much longer.

Yelp
This was disappointing. The prices are high and the place is extremely elegant, but the food was just average. Good french cuisine, yes, but too much of it it was made without love. The veal for instance, was really bland. I expected more. Service was great. I assume this is a place for businesspeople who wants only a fancy restaurant full of whitecollar staff to get into the right mood and feel classy.

Yelp
Excellent dinner in a beautiful restaurant with amazing service and relaxed atmosphere. We both picked the menu at 54€ (3-course) which turned out to be a 6-course meal!! Started with a first amuse bouche: a shot a asparagus velouté and olive oil. It was followed by a second amuse bouche: raw salmon and olive waffle. Both delicious. For the appetizer I had picked the special of the day (spring roll) served on a bed of yellow squash and cole slaw. It was huge!!! My sister got the lobster velouté and was very satisfied as well!! Really good! For the entree I got the pork belly with veggies. It was very big as well. Served with crispy root veggies, veggies and potatoes, it was delicious. The pork belly was very crispy and the sauce was amazing! For dessert I had the Mille feuille and one more time the portion was huge! Layers of smooth light cream separated by crispy waffles. My sister got the caramel religieuse which was another success. The service was prompt, polite, accommodating and discrete. It was perfect. At the end of the meal they also bring you small nut muffins and dark chocolate squares. 6-course meal! Topped with glasses of champagne, dinner was a real success!!!!

Yelp
This place is located in my favorite Paris Hotel, the Plaza Athenee! Everything is simply great if you would like to enjoy a typical french cuisine meal in a very private and discreet place in Paris' most fashionable district. Food is great, service is quiet fast, pro and friendly. Atmosphere is simple but elegant and very french. Don't forget to order your favourite drinks at the bar. Tip: - Ask the bartender to be creative and make you a special cocktail. You will love it.

Yelp
My husband grew up in Paris and we return to Paris once or twice a year from Los Angeles. Le Relais is by far our favorite restaurant. They could not be more welcoming. We just arrived and had jet lag so we were too tire to change. Although I don't feel we were dressed appropriately (the clientele is beautifully dressed), they welcomed us with absolutely not attitude. Anna, our waitress, was amazing. The service in general was exceptional. You will never have to ask for anything because they are very proactive and know ahead what you need. The food is beautifully served like a work of art and is delicious. The atmosphere is exquisite and clean. For a party of 5 it cost around $600 with wine and 3 courses each. It was worth it.

Yelp
This sanctimonious, nose in the air place with an obnoxious manager is really worth avoiding. They supposedly have a promotion with the Champs Elysee theatre down the block. Problem is they have no intention of honoring the promotion. This place is the stereotype of the miserable French restaurants you want to avoid. Never had the food. Way too many hoops to jump through. So unless you love being hated for being American or dislike being treated like you have leprosy avoid this place. To a lesser degree this advice will hold for the hotel also.
