Le Rooftop "L'Heure Dorée"

Rooftop bar with restricted view of the Eiffel tower, unless you walk around to the restaurant side which is only bookable by people that stay at the hotel. Ambience and service at the rooftop bar is great. Staff are great but the height of the building is inline with the height of other surrounding buildings so there's not much to see. While seated you either won't have a view or just be able to see the tip of the eiffel tower due to the layout of the rooftop. I've attached a photo of the view we had which was one of the highest seats available on the rooftop. For minimum 30 euro per drink, we'd have liked a better rooftop view.

Great sexy and elegant rooftop bar with amazing views of the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur. Great cocktails, and worth the price for the service, quality and elegant service. The staff was formal but inviting. The L'Oiseau Blanc airplane and the engine indoors were neat pieces of aviation history.

Never given a business a bad review but this one doesn’t even deserve a star. One star is for one staff who smiled to answer our question. Maybe my expectation for The Peninsula hotel and the Le Rooftop was too high. We arrived early in our cocktail dress and the first question Bartender asked was “Do you know that we have 60euro minimum?” 1. Well if we arrived dressed properly we probably read the info on the website. It’s early Sunday evening you are not busy. 2. No escort to the high chair bar table. The lounge sofas reserved for hotel guests. I understand that they have to cater to the hotel guests but same attentive service should be used for visitors if you are allowing us to visit. 3. Didn’t arrive with menu for about next 15 mins. 4. Two of us ordered a bottle of signature champagne and an appetizer. 5. Appetizer and champagne glasses arrived then we waited another 10minutes also for our champagne. Appetizer arrived messed up (in photos) too. After that no one came to check on us. We got up from our high chair to refill our own glasses. There were 3-4 staff working and place wasn’t full. Certainly not what I expected from such a highly rated place. The rule is simple I don’t give my business to people who doesn’t value my time and my money. This was second visit for my colleague and the first for me. There are other rooftop bars that have better views in Paris, don’t bother wasting your time here unless you are staying with them? Posting Photos to prove that we were there.

The staff were really friendly and it’s such a nice place for evening cocktails with friends or as a couple. The view of the Eiffel tower is amazing! Pricey but expected for where it’s located.

We just had drinks here on the rooftop bar, but they were super tasty and the views were stunning. Definitely worth having a drink as a treat at the very least. We also could smell the food, it smelt so good but we had dinner reservations somewhere else, next time I will be eating here!

The view is gorgeous but unfortunately you pay only for the view. The service is awful and the food is okish but totally overrated for the price. 3 entrees and two cocktails for 170 EUR is outrageous. If the food would have been incredible I would not mind. But bad service, average food and high prices is not the most appealing combination. Not recommended!

Very enjoyable, easily accessible rooftop with a constricted view to the Eiffel Tower and a full amazing view of the Sacre Coeur. Impeccable and friendly service.
